Trying to Make Peace

After being confidently accepted into an employee in the office that turned out to belong to Mala's husband, or rather became an OB. Aziz resigned his resignation because there are other affairs, the man also did not feel good to disturb the time of the married couple who unceremoniously mingled in front of him.

"Ah, finally separated from them, too" muttered Aziz who was in the parking lot of the office area and took his motorbike to go home. 

The time taken by Aziz was quite far, the man took almost 50 minutes more to return home. 

The man's smile never faded when he arrived home, his sister Fatimah was surprised to see his brother's behavior and reprimanded to make the smile on the man's face disappear.

"Abang, got a lot of money? Why are you smiling to yourself?"

Aziz stopped right in front of his sister, and said, "It's none of your business! You take care of Mom and the house."

After saying this, Aziz passed away leaving his sister. Aziz was very sorry to have desperately defended his sister while still with Azzahra.

Aziz always showed his favoritism towards the wife who is his responsibility, the man was more defending the sister until she was married though. Regret always comes too late, now the man has to bear everything especially his sister Fatimah who was divorced from her husband on the grounds that her husband is not able to meet the needs of the wife who always demands this and that. 

The most painful thing that an Ahmad Aziz felt was seeing his ex-wife Azzahra who was married to Udin. The man who he thinks does not deserve the ex-wife who is a rich widow with a supermarket that is growing rapidly.

But what is the power of an Aziz. A man who is just a graduate of an education degree who is devoted to boarding school, this is the biggest reason for an Aziz looking for a better job with more salary, because he wants to prove that he is capable of being a responsible man. However, it can not be separated from the needs of life that is increasing every time. 

Now Aziz in front of the mother's room, opened the canopy slowly and went inside. Aziz saw clearly the face of the mother who was lying on the bed with her eyes twinkling. Aziz could not see the condition of his mother and approached the woman who had brought him into this world. 

"Mother,"call Aziz softly while sitting on the bed and holding her hand tightly. 

Aziz occasionally kissed her mother's hand that had shrunk, there was a stabbing pain in her chest when she saw the state of the mother like this. 

'The cross does not smell', 'the Muslim comes without permission'. 

The quote of the words is already quite representative of what happened in the life of an Azizi, after the divorce from his wife. The calamity comes without end as if saying if this is karma for him. 

"Mother, Aziz, please do not grieve" Aziz said, wiping her tears. 

Pain, but not bleeding. This is what the man felt, all because of the negligence of the sister in caring for their mother. 

Aziz still remembered how the incident started.

In the morning as usual Aziz set out to teach at the boarding school, Aziz who had become a widower had also studied independently. The man inevitably, could or could not take care of all his own needs, different when he became Azzahra's husband.

Now Aziz must be independent and prepare his own needs, bathe himself, eat alone, to sleep alone. Unfortunately being a widower, that is what Aziz always complained about. 

Aziz had just entered the classroom, suddenly someone called him and said that his sister Fatimah called and asked him to return home. 

Aziz immediately returned to the office where there was his bag and asked the ustad to replace his duties.

In Aziz's heart he wondered what was the cause of his sister's call. It has become a rule in Madrasah if it is not allowed to carry a mobile phone, according to the regulations of the education service. However, for some reason the head of the cottage allows teachers or ustadz who teach can carry a cell phone on condition that they stay in the office or can be taken. However, it is turned off because it can interfere with teaching and learning time for students. 

Aziz sped up his footsteps and took out his bag, then pulled out the phone that he singlet. How surprised the man was to see the number of missed calls from his sister and Aziz opened the incoming messages countless times. 

However, after reading the message from the younger brother Aziz collapsed and fainted. Everyone in the room took the man to the UKS room to wake up. 

"Bang, Mommy!" call the sister to break Aziz's daydream for a moment. 

Aziz immediately looked at the sister and took the bowl of porridge for the mother, without making a sound Aziz fed his mother painstakingly and told the sister to prepare warm water to bathe the mother. 

After the sister came out, Aziz began to invite his mother to talk. Although the mother could not answer and respond to his words with tears. However, it did not discourage Aziz to try to please his mother. 

Events that have passed so many years ago make Aziz pay more attention to the mother. Aziz's heart felt slashed sembilu, so painful. The mother only spent her time in bed because she had fallen in the bathroom and caused the woman who was loved by Aziz to be paralyzed.

 However, after doing various kinds of treatment. Instead of recovering or improving, the mother even had a stroke and made part of her body can not be moved especially on the face. This made her mother unable to speak as she had before.

 The word 'assume'. If only the one who took care of his mother at that time Azzahra his wife was not Fatimah the younger brother, maybe today his mother can still walk and talk as usual. Fatimah's negligence in caring for the mother caused this to happen, which is why Aziz did not allow the younger brother to take care of their mother. As much as possible Aziz who takes care of the mother, from bathing, feeding, washing the traces of hajad and so on.

As at this time, after feeding the mother. The man bathed the very meaningful woman in his life lovingly.

Aziz who had finished bathing and wearing clean clothes for the mother came out of the room and wanted to go to the bathroom to clean herself. However, the man was intercepted by the younger brother. 

"Bang, wait a minute."

Aziz just looked at his sister and waited for what the woman in front of him wanted.

"But! Brother got money? I'm gonna buy some skincare."

Aziz stared hard at his sister, but the man tried to reconcile with his feelings and chose to pass. However, the brother's stubbornness and attitude that would not give up before getting what he wanted made Aziz finally speak up.

"I've just been accepted into work so, haven't earned any money. But what if I get the money? The first thing I'll buy is MEDICINE for Mom."

"Bang, I need money too! If not to Brother? Where am I asking?"

As if fed up, Aziz uttered his harsh words to his sister. 

"Sell it to yourself!  And then give it to the striped man who will give you money!"

Duar.. , Aziz slammed the bathroom door tightly.
