Prologues

Married, a funny word for Nindy. The woman who is now twenty-seven years old does not believe in a happy marriage at all, if according to some people married is a happy thing, it is, unlike the case with Nindy who actually does not understand what marriage really means.

Nindy is a Lecturer at one of the private colleges in the Capital. She is a woman of ambition, people see her as almost perfect except for one thing, her love life. The woman is not at all interested in love life let alone married life at this ripe age.

That morning Nindy had just finished getting ready to go to college because today she had a morning teaching schedule, she said, as usual, when she finished dressing, she would go to the kitchen to greet her.

"Good morning Ma" he said to his mother who was busy cooking in the kitchen, at her own dining table had been neatly arranged with cutlery they used and rice that was just waiting for the side dish

"Dearly, breakfast before going to teach well" said the mother smiled at her youngest daughter

"Depending on the situation" Inner Nindy smiled towards her Mama

"Miraas..Miraa, is breakfast ready? you've been cooking for a long time, where do you keep my shaver?" asked a man half-shouting from inside a room quite close to the kitchen

"You haven't changed, every morning yelling at me looking for something" her mother replied in a loud voice, more precisely sounding very upset

"Find my shaver first" he asked but in a loud voice like telling his wife to do as she asked

Angrily, her mother turned off her stove and walked out of the kitchen. Before entering his room, he first told something to his daughter who was still sitting quietly waiting for her breakfast

"Nindy, you don't marry someone like your father. Every day of work just demands this, food must be accompanied" said his mother gave advice to her daughter who only responded with a small laugh

"Akupun has no intention of marrying Ma" Nindy's inner voice nodded her head in affirming Mama's words

"Wait a minute, Mama's gonna get your Papa's shaver. Just be careful if the thing is in its place" he threatened to stare cynically at his room

"Start again" muttered Nindy, "Mama.." call Nindy who stopped her steps to go to the room immediately

"What's wrong? you need something too?" ask her mother attentively

"No Ma, Nindy's almost too late. Food near the campus is also good for breakfast, Nindy left first Ma" he replied farewell to his mother

"You're not having breakfast anymore?" ask her mother with a slightly disappointed look

"Miraaaa, where's the shaver?" ask her husband who yelled at her again to make her emotions rise again

"It's so annoying for the parents" her mother sneered with a look like she wanted to swallow her husband alive, Nindy just laughed at her parents' behavior that never changed in the past

"It doesn't seem like Ma, Nindy's really too late. Nindy left first well" said Nindy as she kissed Mama's cheek and left after saying goodbye

"Yes" replied Nindy in a somewhat troubled voice as she was already at the door

-- Nindy-----

My name is Nindy, did you hear and see the commotion in my house this morning? well I'm not used to having breakfast with my parents because I actually like the quiet atmosphere. I am not at all broken home, it's just that I feel uncomfortable if two people who have lived together after a long time have to keep shouting at each other every morning.

I'm the youngest of two children, I have an older sister who has been married since I was in SD, I already have a nephew of my brother, he's in college and he's in college where I teach. My age with my niece was only ten years away, it was because my brother immediately married when he was second semester in college first, her husband is a businessman who is quite famous and successful.

At the age of me who has stepped on the number twenty-seven this year, people around me have urged me to get married, even my parents and brother have started to urge me too, too, but I stayed in my mind, it was very difficult for me to open my heart to others.

If asked if I want to get married? chances are not, whether I'm not interested or indeed I just can't accept married life because it looks at the married life of my parents and brother. I don't know, but I'm confused about married people. Every day there is a debate that they do, then if that is what we are married for? My mom and dad were arguing about things every day, even for family matters, but soon they made up again and made each other laugh. Sister was the same as Papa and Mama, every day she would come to the house and complain about her husband's behavior, and then soon they made up again, again, that alone makes me dizzy about marriage.

I don't know when it started, I was really determined not to get caught up in life like Papa and Mama, she said, from then on I completely avoided anything related to the world of romance that led to the construction of a new household.

On the morning of the year, a girl who had been sitting in the third grade Junior High School had just come out of her room in her school uniform and also carried a bag on her back.

"Good morning Mama" he said to the man in his thirties who was busy preparing breakfast for his family

"Good morning dear, sit there for a little while the breakfast is done" said his mother who was answered with a nod of the head by her daughter

The girl who is now entering her teenage years looks out the window of the rain that fell soaking the earth quickly

"Hufftt, it's raining again. I was the laziest to go to school when it was raining like this" he murmured with a sigh

"Miraas..Miraa, where did you put my das? I have to get to the office" asked a man from inside the room in a loud voice shouting his wife's name

"There is in the closet, last night I have prepared it for you" replied his mother by shouting also tell me the location of the object sought by her husband

"When it's in place, I won't ask it like this" he exclaimed in annoyance at not finding what he was looking for

"It's so annoying" her mother annoyed and turned off the stove and went out in the kitchen to go to her room immediately, but before that she stopped where her daughter was sitting sweetly "Nindy, someday don't marry someone like your Papa, looking for a tie on your own just can't" mamaya said, warning her to continue her footsteps to her room with scolding that she threw every step of the way to enter her room

"Well, start again" muttered Nindy shaking her head feeling no wonder at the debate between her parents.
