The Lost Half of the Heart

The Lost Half of the Heart
SHYH 53 | For The First Time

Never in the slightest thought by Nara if Briyan really would sincerely apologize to her. Especially now Briyan has admitted if the child in his stomach is his child.

"Ra, thank you for apologizing to me for all my stupidity. I'm really sorry I wasted you. Promise me you'll never go again."

Nara is fixated, she does not believe Briyan will treat her well. Even now Nara has been brought to a fairly large house.

"Ra, for now we live in this place. You want to, right?"

Nara nodded slowly. He did not know whose house Briyan was renting at the moment. However, he did not want to think about it. The most important thing for him at this time is Briyan admitted if the child in his womb is his child.

"Ra, why did you leave without saying goodbye to me? I'm so worried about you, Ra."

Nara looked at Briyan meaningfully. In her heart she wondered what had happened to her husband, could it be that she had been in an accident that made her brain shift a little? Because as long as Nara lived with him, Nara was never treated gently, but this time she did not see the real figure of Briyan.

"Mas Riyan, what has happened to you?" asked Nara in surprise.

"Why?"

"I just feel weird about your attitude."

Briyan took a deep breath and approached to hold Nara's hand tightly. Her lips felt faint as she wanted to explain what had happened.

"Ra, can you forget what happened and we start over? I beg you not to remember what has passed, for it will only add to my guilt for you."

"Mas, but I want to know what has happened to you so that you can be like this. Did you just have an accident?"

"I'll explain later. Now you don't have to think anything. I'm fine."

Nara who still did not understand with Briyan's intention only nodded slowly. Despite the injury, Nara accepts Briyan as he is. Perhaps this was the answer to her prayers all along.

"Ra, how many months is our son here?" Suddenly, Briyan questions Nara's age while stroking her stomach.

Again Nara must be surprised by Briyan's treatment is not as usual. And this is the first time Briyan has really cared about content.

"Nearly five months, Mas," Nara replied as it was.

Briyan felt increasingly guilty because all this time he did not care about his own child, even had time to hate and not admit if it was his flesh and blood.

"Ma."

Briyan's eyes rounded as she continued to stroke Nara's stomach. "He's moving, Ra!" exclaims

In a room, Nara felt awkward when she had to sleep together with Briyan. For two months they lived together, never once did they sleep in one bed. Even to speak softly Briyan never.

Throughout the night, Briyan clasped Nara's hand. It felt unwilling to let go of his grasp.

"Mas, what exactly made you turn out like this?" asked Nara with doubt.

"I was wrong, I'm sorry. Although I can't remember what happened that night, but now I'm sure that night I have stained you. Again I'm sorry."

"On what basis are you sure if you are the one who desecrated me? It could have been someone else who had desecrated me and subverted you to take responsibility."

"Ra .. please don't say that again. I've found out who set us up that night" Briyan explained.

Nara flinched in shock. "Who did it, Mom?"

"You don't need to know who did it, because I've given them a lesson."

Nara felt very grateful, because God had answered her prayers all this time. The fruit of his patience is not in vain, for all truth has been revealed. He and Briyan were completely trapped by someone who wanted to take them down.

A long night just passed. Briyan slept soundly while curling Nara's slightly fat body. Though only the count of Nara left Briyan.

For the first time too, this morning Nara passed the dawn of time to congregate with her husband. It can no longer be described how happiness is present, after two months of deep pain.

Complying before the creator, Briyan begged for forgiveness for what he had done to his wife and promised never to repeat it again. Briyan also pleaded for their marriage to be a marriage that was sadinah mawadah warahmah, until Jannah, despite the wounds she had once scratched.

"Ra, what day you want to cook, let me go to the supermarket first."

With a thin smile Nara replied, "In the supermarket it is expensive Mas. Mending to the market alone, can be bargained again," suggested Nara.

"Market," great-grandson Briyan.

"Why? Don't tell me Riyan never went to the market? Nara never went to the market, but after her marriage Nara knew what the market was like. At first Nara thought that the vegetables in the market were not good, but in fact Nara was wrong. Vegetables at the night market are fresher. So we go to the market!"

Briyan chose to nod slowly. Maybe that way his relationship with Nara could get closer and better.

Briyan was happy, but she couldn't cover up the gaping wound as she recalled the flashbacks of her actions to Nara. Briyan shouldn't have deserved an apology from Nara, but the woman who chose to take him for granted and forgot what had happened.

"Here I take it," said Briyan who immediately snatched the shopping cart from Nara's hands.

Nara smiled faintly. The wound in the heart was still there, but he tried to bandage with the little happiness that Briyan had given him.

"Mas, how long will it stay here? Let me know what vegetable stock to buy."

"I don't know. But if you agree, I want to be in this city forever with you until death picks me up."

Nara's face flushed, feeling hot. This was the first time a man had teased him.

"Wherever Mas Riyan lives, Nara will definitely agree, because currently Mas Riyan is Nara's role model."

Like any young couple in general, Briyan kept Nara's hand in her hand and did not let Nara walk quickly.

"Ra, you should buy nutritious vegetables for our child. Don't let our child be malnourished and ultimately stupid like his father!" chirps Briyan while walking.
