“What's Collin? Has anyone brought any news?”
“When we reached Yunne Castle, someone from the army approached me. Sorry miss she informed me that ... Duchess Voinn has been caught d-and ... killed by Wart.” troops Collin did not dare to look Anne in the face.
Collin initially wants to tell Chris first, unsure to tell Anne directly. She did not expect Anne would ask her shortly after they arrived.
Anne was still stunned and still could not believe what she had just heard. He had no idea he would hear this bad news. He asked to get good news. Tears slowly flowed down her white cheeks. Anne was crying in silence.
Chris was also devastated to hear this bad news. He felt frustrated with the situation that continued to get worse. How could he possibly leave Anne alone here. Chris immediately hugged Anne, when he saw her crying. Chris also could not hold back his tears, looking at Anne who was so struck.
“Duchess never went to Terra, but instead headed for the capital Verdant. The Duchess brought all the remaining Voinn troops who were not in the capital, to help the war there. But, it looks like the Duchess did not make it safely.” Collin slowly continued the explanation he received from the bodyguard.
Anne did feel a little strange when her mother did not go to Terra with them. She did not expect her mother to leave her so soon.
“Sorry sir, I don't know how to pass it on to miss ...”
Anne, too devastated to hear this news, fell unconscious in Chris' arms. Chris panicked to see Anne who was unconscious and immediately took her to the room. Collin rushes to the doctor to check on Anne.
After hearing the doctor's explanation that Anne was fine, Chris immediately wrote a letter to his father in Crotta. She informs the marquis of Duchess Voinn and that she must postpone her return, at least until Anne meets her family.
“Collin, find the duchess's body. Whatever happens he must return to his family.”
Jeremy you should be able to find Anne's family no matter what, don't try to come back without success. Chris really hopes Jeremy can find a member of Anne's family.

Thankfully, Anne regained consciousness. Collin orders someone to bring Anne dinner, but the waiter returns with an untouched plate. Upon hearing this, Chris comes and tries to persuade her to eat, but Anne only touches him a little.
Anne looked lethargic and had no appetite for a few days. Chris also tries to get Anne to talk, but Anne answers only as she can. After a few days of solitude, Anne finally accepted Chris' invitation to take a walk around the park.
The empress and Hera also visited after hearing what had happened to the duchess. Anne felt a little better, having been comforted by the empress and Hera.
For several days Anne was alone, Chris busied himself taking care of the Voinn residence. The escaped workers have been caught and sentenced to 6 months in prison. They were also not given the opportunity to return to work at the Voinn residence.
Chris also goes to meet the Verdant citizens who managed to escape to Terra. For a while the emperor let them stay in the large warehouse that was empty. This warehouse was actually a storage place for crops, but since winter was over, this warehouse was already empty.
Anne had already begun getting basic instruction to arrange the Voinn residence of Collin and Chris. Every afternoon, Anne would go out and take a walk in the park with Chris or Kent. Enjoying the scenery and fresh air managed to help him feel calmer.

“Anne!!” Anne was enjoying her tea while enjoying the beauty of the garden when she heard Chris calling her from a distance.
“Hah, hah” Chris ran over to Anne in the park. Anne was a little worried about what Chris was going to say. I hope this isn't bad news.

After they stopped crying, Chris drove them to the living room so they could talk more comfortably. Collin also immediately prepared food and drinks for them. Anne may not be able to see it, but Nanny and Hans look messy.
They told how they were captured by the Wart troops, and when they were about to be taken away, they managed to escape. Hans and Nanny are held in the same place, but not with Vera and Lyre.
While listening to their story, Anne never let go of her grip on Hans and Nanny's hands. He still couldn't believe he could be reunited with them, and he didn't want them to go back when he let go.
“Nona, my hands are dirty. Later after I clean it miss can hold it as much.” Hans didn't want Anne to get dirty from touching him. At first she also wanted to improve first, but Anne did not let them go before hearing their story.
It's very difficult to get Anne out of them. Anne kept insisting on not wanting to let go of her grasp. Nanny is forced to take Anne to her room to make things right. For a few days she had not been able to take a bath, for some reason Anne could be comfortable beside her.
They continued their conversation over dinner. With Hans' jokes, Anne was finally able to smile after almost a full week of silence.
