The Last Princess of the Kingdom of Verdant

Serene Castle looks very beautiful, with all the flowers that have just bloomed. The roses, tulips, and dahlias that adorn the entire garden of the serene castle are Duchess Voinn's favorite flowers. Serene Castle is regularly visited by the Duke Voinn family every summer, especially by the young ladies of Vininn.
As the Duke of Lancotta, Duke Voinn had several castles throughout Verdant. He was one of the war heroes and the younger brother of King Verdant. Due to his busy life as head of Verdant's land and sea forces, he had not visited Serene Castle for three years.
Duchess Voinn was sitting in the dugout taking care of some documents that had just been received from the Chief Servant of Serene Castle, Rubert. The Duchess's silver hair looks shiny in the sunlight.

“Ya, please enter.”
"Excuse me duchess, I saw Miss Annette in the park with Nanny Polla."
"Okay, thank you. Rubert, here's the reply, please take it to the residence of the Marquis of Dellad. I'll relax with Anne in the garden. Please prepare snacks and tea in the garden gazebo and call Fricsia, she needs to be exposed to the sun occasionally."
"Good duchess."
Rubert nodded briefly and came out together with the Duchess' personal servant.
"Take me to Annette's." The duchess got up from her seat and exited the room along with her maid and personal bodyguard.
Duke Voinn did provide two personal servants and two bodyguards for the Duchess and her two daughters, to follow them all day.

The weather in the park that afternoon was very cool with shady trees surrounding the park. Even though it has begun to enter the summer, the northern region of Verdant still feels cool.
Anne's unraveling golden hair, waving slowly in the wind. He took a leisurely walk hand in hand with his nanny, Nanny Polla. Behind him are Vena and Lyre, along with Hans and Kent, his servants and bodyguards.
"Nanny! Anne wants to lie down on the grass, okay?"
"Well, just for a moment, lady, I'll prepare the base first." Nanny Polla immediately prepared a pedestal for Anne to lie down.
"Please miss, here I help."
"Thank you Nanny!”
Anne lay down while stretching out her hands to feel the grass around her. Anne began to hum a little while enjoying the blue sky, the blowing wind, and the soothing fragrance of grass.
"Oh, Hans, is this what's in my hand?” Anne sat down and showed me something in her hand.
Hans then immediately knelt down and examined Anne's hand.
“Oh take it easy, this is just an ordinary caterpillar. Is miss afraid?”
“Hmmm this feels so weird, hehe, it feels chewy like pudding! This vein is very funny try see.” Anne extended her hand to Vena who was beside her.
“Aaaah!!! No miss, No, I'm afraid!” vena screamed when she saw the caterpillar in Anne's hand.
“EEh? but it's so funny .... Lyre try to hold, this caterpillar is very chewy!!” Anne turned her hand to Lyre.
“Nona! caterpillars are not funny, they are disgusting!” Lyre instantly moved away while being frightened.
"Hahaha," Anne and Hans laughed out loud, while Nanny could only shake her head resignedly.
Annette de Voinn was the last child of the Duke and Duchess of Voinn. From birth, Anne's vision was severely limited, but Anne grew up to be a very sweet and cheerful lady. Nanny Polla has been caring for the children of the Voinn family for a long time, and it is clear Anne is her favorite foster child.
Anne's vision was not good, but Anne still tried to learn as much form from various things around her as possible. Although Anne was surrounded by people who loved her and always protected her, Anne always tried to be independent and do things on her own.
"Maland .. hmm ...." Anne started humming softly as she lay back in the middle of the garden. Anne has loved to sing since childhood, as Duchess Voinn often sang various songs to calm Anne when she was crying.
In the distance, the figure of Duchess Voinn who was walking towards Anne.
"Anne dear .. let's get up, let's eat a snack while having tea with mama," Duchess Voinn called Anne softly.
"Mrsan ...." Anne immediately stopped humming and got up to her feet.
"Come, Fricsia's waiting in the north gazebo." Duchess Vininn clasped Anne's small hand and walked along.
Duchess Voinn looks very happy to see Anne having fun with her aides. She was so relieved Anne could grow up to be a cheerful child, despite being born different from other children. She was so grateful that Anne's servants and bodyguards loved her very much and served Anne sincerely since Anne was a child.

Anne's servants and bodyguards were chosen with great care and with a wide variety of tests. The perfect servant is needed with Anne's condition requiring more attention. At first Duke Voinn was very worried and placed four servants and a special bodyguard to supervise, guide, and serve all of Anne's needs.
Duke Voinn did not expect Anne to grow up to be a very smart child, although it certainly could not be compared to normal children in general. Anne has been able to talk and do basic things since the age of eight, which children can do in general at the age of five years.
From then on the Duke reduced Anne's servant to two servants and bodyguards whom Anne liked very much. Of course, Anne's favorite bodyguard was Hans, and from the time she met Hans, Anne became more cheerful and nosy.
Anne still vividly remembers her first meeting with Hans. On a cool morning, about five years ago, when Anne was six years old, Duke Voinn sent two new bodyguards.

Hans answered briefly and the atmosphere went back to being quiet.
'That's it? why are the servants and bodyguards so boring?' Anne said in her heart. The castle has been very quiet since Brother Verto went to the Academy.
"Emm, can you please get me the book that's there?” Anne asked Hans for help, while showing her a sweet smile.
“Good miss, what book are you looking for?” Hans started walking towards the ledger closet inside Anne's room.
“Oh, emm..it looks like the book is bright red at the top of the closet.”
Hans soon found the book because it was so striking in color among other books. Hans then slowly pulled the book out of the closet, but suddenly a lot of small paper fell out and made Anne's room fall apart with colorful paper. Hans was instantly stunned, panicked and surprised Hans almost dropped the book he was holding. Hans' reflexes captured the book and looked at Nanny and Anne with pale faces.
Nanny looked at Anne sharply, which Anne did not realize, of course.
'What else is Miss Anne planning this time?' Nanny Polla said in her heart.
“Ahh, it doesn't seem like the book. Hmm maybe a bright green book at the end of the closet.”
Anne was not surprised by what happened. Maybe Anne's eyesight was very bad, as she had heard. But Nanny obviously looked a little surprised.
“Good Miss.”
Hans put the book back and reached for the green book very carefully. When the book is pulled out, it looks like a red rope. Hans thought it was just a book barrier, but it turned out that when he brought the book to Anne, the rope dropped all the books in the middle row. Hans looked back and stayed still staring at all the mess he had made.
“Anne!!” The startled Nanny immediately reprimanded Anne, while Hans was still speechlessly confused.
“Hahaha,” Anne started laughing out loud.

Hans, who had just realized he had just been framed, finally regained his composure. He was so relieved not to get into trouble on his first day of service to Miss Annette. Hans was very happy to know that Anne was very friendly and humble.
“Anne does not have many friends, while Nanny and the helpers are very cool to be invited to play.”
