Inside the forest Zen ran quickly while holding Tina who was still frightened.
"He's not chasing ya."
If he wanted Zen could have fought the man until one of them was killed, but Zen was now unwilling to fight. Zen therefore prefers to run away and prioritizes Tina's safety.
After a while of running Zen was no longer able to sense the aura belonging to the man and he immediately stopped running.
"Tina, Tina."
Zen continued to call out to the still frightened Tina, but Tina had absolutely no response to her call. Zen could not stand Tina's current behavior anymore, Zen then slapped Tina's cheek quite firmly.
"Tina's Sadarkah."
"Zen?... This where?"
Tina instantly regained her senses after being slapped by Zen, although her body was still trembling in fear yet this was still more mending than the previous one.
"We're in the woods near town."
"What about Cristine and Aulis? That guy, did that guy kill them?"
Tina again felt a sense of fear as she recalled about what happened.
"Calm Tina. Even though I don't know their current state, at least they might still be alive."
"What right?"
"Yes." Yeah."
Tina became a little calmer.
"I'll take you back to the inn now."
"What about them?"
"They'll definitely come back."
Zen slightly smiled at Tina, and Tina immediately believed what Zen had said. To be honest Zen did not even know the situation of Cristine and the others now, but for Zen their existence is not important.
Although they could provide information regarding the immortal temple, Zen found it pointless if he put Tina in danger. For Zen right now the most important thing is the existence of Tina.
Zen instantly opened the gate and went inside. The gate opens in Tina's room at the inn, and Zen immediately puts Tina in her bed.
Zen was about to leave Tina, but Tina held Zen's hand firmly.
"Are you going?"
Tina showed a sad expression and a glassy eye, after seeing that Zen had no choice but to be nearby.
"No, I'll take that chair."
"That's it."
Tina let go of her hand and Zen immediately walked over to pick up a chair in the room.
Zen placed a chair and sat down near the Tina Mattress. Tina who saw Zen being near him instantly closed her eyes and fell asleep.
'This woman despite her physical strength is quite strong but her mental strength is very weak.'
The aura of intimidation that Tina felt from the man was only a part of it and instantly made her mentally destroyed. Zen so did not want to think about what would happen to Tina if she sensed all the auras belonging to that man.
'If I don't remember wrongly, it seems like I've experienced this too.'
Zen looked at Tina who was asleep, and so Zen was sure that Tina had fallen asleep soundly he went straight to his room.
*******
It had been 2 days since Tina fell asleep and until now she had still not woken up. As long as Tina was still asleep Zen was unable to continue the journey towards the immortal temple, during those 2 days Zen continued to tour the city and visit some restaurants to pass the time.
It became dark, and Zen walked back to the inn. As soon as he entered the inn he saw Tina who was eating voraciously, and Zen immediately approached him.
"Are you okay, Tina?"
"Yes, I'm fine."
"Good, then we'll continue on tomorrow."
"How's what?"
"Have they come back?"
Although she was filled with fear at the time, Tina could clearly hear Zen saying they would be back soon. Now he asked to confirm it.
"They came back yesterday."
"so yeah. Then have you got the information?"
"No, I didn't get it."
"Why did that happen, didn't you say they were back?"
"The deal was made by you and Cristine, so you're the one who should charge Cristine."
Although Zen could have used Tina's name to get the promised information, he preferred not to do so. However the deal was made by Tina, Zen felt that he had no right to charge Cristine.
"Then I'll ask for that information now."
"Stop Tina."
She was about to stand up and meet Cristine, but Zen stopped her.
"Now it's night, you can ask for it tomorrow."
"You're right, then I'll rest now."
Tina went to her room and left Zen, after a long time Zen returned to his room and rested.
The day had changed, Tina and Zen were preparing to go to the guild to meet Cristine and Aulis.
But once they had just descended the 2nd floor of the Cristine inn and Aulis had been waiting for the two of them there.
"Finally you're out, too, Tina."
"I happen to want to find you, but since you're here it saves me time. So what are you guys doing here?"
"I just want to give you what I promised you."
The deal the two of them made was that Tina should join the conquest. Although Tina did not kill a single dragon, but with her joining, an agreement was reached.
"Is that so, then can you tell me about the eternal temple?"
"I said before that there was a battle. Since these past few days the scale of the battle has become as large as it is."
"Can you tell me the details?"
"As I said, the end of this is the scale of the battle becomes larger. Most of the buildings around the temple have been destroyed, and even the church there has been flattened. The imperial emperor Zilion had issued an order to empty the city, now there was only an army that wanted to fight. Also from the information I got last time, it says there are also some dragons."
"When did you last get that information?"
"If I don't remember it wrong about 2 to 3 days before you came here."
"Then the situation there must have been worse than you said."
Tina had been in this town for about 4 days, which meant that about a week ago the scale of the battle around the immortal temple began to increase. Within those 7 days the battle would definitely continue to escalate to a level where the city could be leveled easily.
"Thank you Cristine for telling me."
"It doesn't matter, you helped us anyway. But Tina are you sure you're going there?"
With a little anxiety Cristine asked Tina.
"I'm going to go there anyway, and that's my job."
In accordance with the agreement Tina's task is to escort Zen to the eternal temple no matter what.
"I see, then I can't prevent you from going there."
Cristine saw the determination that was on Tina and she knew no matter how she persuaded him Tina would still go there.
"Then we go first, I'll see you Cristine Aulis."
Zen and Tina left the two of them to continue the journey.
