Battle II: The Coming of Mabas

A sword pierced his chest from behind, Zen then looked towards his back. She saw Lilfy smiling little at her.

"How's Zen doing?"

"Lilfy, since when are you here?"

While spewing blood, Zen asked Lilfy.

"Hmm, is there still time for you to ask? You better look ahead."

Zen immediately looked towards the front, and Iris was heading towards him quickly. Within a short time Iris had been in front of him, with the holy sword in her hand Iris attacking Zen with all her might.

"Come out, Shikin."

The Zen 8th servant came out, with his large body attacking Iris just before his sword hit Zen.

Zen instantly turned around and attacked Lilfy with his kick. Zen then immediately went away from Lilfy and pulled out the cursed sword that stuck in his chest.

"It's a good thing this is a cursed sword."

The cursed sword did not have an effect as big as a holy sword for the Vampire and demon races. Zen's wounds recovered quickly, if only what pierced his chest was a holy sword then his injuries would probably be slower to recover.

Zen was about to leave his current place, but Vanes quickly attacked Zen with his cursed sword. Zen resisted the attack and went away from Vanes.

Zen then looked around to find Argares who should have fought Vanes. In a short time Zen finally found the location of Argares, Argares was currently with Elizabeth against the Abrials.

"Mr Argares fucking!"

Vanes did not let Zen walk away from him, without giving Vanes plenty of time to chase Zen and attack him again.

The two of them clashed with swords, then arrived dozens of blue fireballs with a diameter of 100 cm towards them quickly.

The two of them instantly dodged away from the fireball, the fireball had an extremely powerful explosive power. Even so, the explosion did not hit Zen or Vanes who had gone away.

Zen then immediately searched for the source of the fireball magic coming from, he then found the person using the fireball magic. That person was the demon king Galios, he was standing on top of a building with 4 other demon kings.

Those demon kings were the 2nd rank demon king Dahlia, the 3rd rank Remi, the 4th rank Keina and the 5th rank Thearte.

"What are the demon lords doing here?"

The current situation of Zen was really bad, he was surrounded by the demon lords, the green dragon king Vanes, Iris and the other 6 people who had gathered.

Zen then looked towards Lapis, with a smile on his face layered crushing the Legion's heart. With his heart broken, the Legion would no longer be able to regenerate and die.

Lapis then looked at Zen and headed towards Zen quickly. In a short time the lapis had been in front of Zen.

"Do you seem to be having a little trouble?"

"Yes, I'm really in trouble. I think it'd be better if you helped me Miss Lapis."

"Alright I'll help you, I'll take care of the demon lord."

"All right, but you stay away from me, miss. I'll make the field anti-magic, so if you're near me you won't be able to make magic."

"It looks like you're having trouble with the layers."

Lapis was about to head to where the demons were, but she stopped when a man spoke to her from above.

"Yes, I did have enough trouble with Mabas."

Mabas, who had only intended to be an observer, has now joined the war. He came with some of his subordinates.

"So what if you help me?"

"Well, then who should I fight?"

"You and I will fight them."

Lapis pointed at a building on which stood the demon kings.

"Once it is, it looks like this will be a slightly troublesome fight."

Although he said so, Mabas moved first towards the demon lords and left Lapis.

"Basic is impatient."

Lapis immediately moved after Mabas, and the battle between the two ancestors and the 5 demon kings began.

As soon as Lapis left her, Zen instantly made his anti-magic barrier. Currently Vanes, Iris, Kufa and the others were within that barrier. As long as the barrier was still active they would not be able to cast magic.

"You are."

Zen gave a little push for them to advance first, the first to move was Vanes. With his sword technique he continued to attack Zen, in a few moves Vanes managed to injure Zen little by little.

'Damn it, this is why I hate pure sword techniques.'

The pure sword technique as the name suggests it is just a movement by using a sword and uses absolutely no magic.

Zen dodged Iris' attack, then without a pause Accua attacked Zen with his cursed sword.

Kufa called out to his servant, Petrius went straight out and attacked Zen. Zen took out the 9th servant Ariel to withstand Petrius' attack and Zen instantly took a considerable distance from all of them.

"It's such a hassle, it'll be dangerous if the fight lasts a long time."

Actually if the fight lasts for a long time then Zen can ensure his victory. But Zen couldn't do that, he didn't know what would come next. So before his power was depleted even more Zen planned to immediately end this battle.

"It's time to get a little serious."

Zen flowed his mana into the two cursed swords, then Zen moved quickly to attack them one by one.

All the people there were either cursed sword users or holy swords. The sound of a sword clash could be clearly heard, and the clash between the sword blades left the surrounding area devastated.
