The Kancil

The Kancil
a cunning old snake and a clever ape

"**Bring me to the king's palace."

"Descended from the Serpent immediately!, "yelled the Queen surprised to see her Son riding on the Serpent.

"Yes, Mother, do not worry. This snake will not hurt us" said the Prince of Toads recounting his entire experience

"Then the problem is we will be happy to get a mount," said the King and Queen of Toads. The Snake's mouth became wet thinking of the Toad - the Fat and Delicious Toad that was riding on its back. But he knew he had to be patient.

For a few days the Serpent brought the royal family of Frogs in and out of the forest. One day he arrived.

"What's up ?" ask Prince Frog. "Why did you stop?"

"For these few days I have not eaten, I have felt very weak holding you, " said the Snake sadly.

"If you let me eat some toads."

"How could I let you prey on my people?" ask the Toad King who looks very confused. "If you don't let me die soon and you won't have anyone to take me around" said the crafty Snake. "Then that's the case, you can prey on some Frogs" the Toad King said. The Snake started to stare at the several Frogs one by one. Then he began to grow stronger.

One day the serpent went around looking for the Toad but found no one still in this lake."

Is that really so?" asked the Toad King in surprise.

"Yes!" the Serpent licked his lips. "I've preyed on all the Toads one by one. I feel hungry now, so today is your turn."

"What's? how dare you eat me. I am the King of Frogs!" the King of Frogs. But the serpent doesn't care? no one was afraid of the three Frogs and he immediately ambushed the Toad King, Queen and Little Toad Prince.

The Clever Ape

One day a crocodile wandered near the tree. He saw the Monkey sitting on the branch of the tree.

"Hi Ape" said the Crocodile with a big smile.

"Will you drop a little guava fruit? I'm a little hungry."

The monkey was very kind. Then he plucked a few stalks of ripe and sweet guava fruit and threw them at the Crocodile.

"Sedap," said the Crocodile quickly devoured all the guava. "Can you throw a little more? I'd like to bring it to my wife at home."

"Oh, sure, my friend," said the Monkey, throwing a few more stalks of guava at the Crocodile. " I hope your wife is happy to enjoy it too."

Summer is quickly passing. Every day the Crocodile meets the Monkey.

They both became very close friends.

They must have eaten the guava together. When it was time to go home the Crocodile would have brought some guava strings for his wife.

The female crocodile was happy. One day the Crocodile said, "My dear, if the Monkey eats guava every day how delicious is the meat?"

Crocodiles should not be surprised. "How could you think that. That monkey is my best friend."

"I don't care," said the Crocodile, "I gave Monkey meat for my dinner. Make sense and bring it here**."
