Kancil And Tiger / Belt of Prophet Sulaiman

One morning Kancil was seen walking on the edge of the forest. Kancil meets a Tiger that is Hungry.

"Fortunate for me, when I was starving, I met a Kancil that I could make Lunch" said Tiger.

"Do you want to kill me?" kancil

"Yes, I will make Lunch, My stomach is hungry" replied the Tiger.

Kancil begins to fear, but thanks to his ingenuity he seeks a way to escape from the Tiger.

"Please don't eat me, because I'm going to divulge a big secret for you" Kancil said.

"What secret?" ask the Tiger

"I'll tell you about the existence of the God's belt. Anyone who uses the belt will be able to Fly and have the power like a God" said Kancil

Hearing the Kancil story, Tiger was interested in making a deal if he would not eat Kancil on condition that Kancil must show where the God's belt is.

Finally Kancil showed me the place where the Belt is. Right on the river bank. The belt is seen hanging over the tree.

Enthusiastically, the Tiger was about to grab the Belt.

"Hey wait!" Kancil tried to stop the tiger from moving.

"What's wrong?"

"God is bathing in the River, do not get caught if you want to take his belt" exclaimed Kancil.

"Then how do you avoid getting caught?" ask the Tiger

"You must walk backwards towards the Belt so that the Gods do not see your existence" replied Kancil

The tiger finally obeyed what Kancil said. He walked back towards the tree. Upon approaching, how shocked the Tiger was as a Snake wrapped around its Neck. It turned out that it was not the Belts of Gods, but rather the Snakes that were Starving.

"You're rude Kancil" exclaimed the Tiger who seemed to endure the pain.

Finally Kancil managed to escape and ran away while releasing his laughter. Kancil can save himself with the ingenuity he has.

The Belt of Prophet Sulaiman

         But this time, Kancil felt his stomach was rumbling. He hopes to find food. His eyes were watching the surroundings. In this place there is clearly no favorite cucumber. For the Farmers' fields are on the banks of the River near to the Pertamina there.

            “At last I could eat this time. Don't run you, Cil!,” suddenly a voice followed by a terrible groan appeared behind Kancil. An enormous tiger that was extremely broad had stood behind the Kancil ready to prey on it.

            “Shortly...seventh..patience first, friend. You see me being small and thin dry like this must be bad to eat,” patiently Kancil calms the hungry Tiger.

            “Continue what do you mean? You want to trick me?”ask the tiger suspiciously.

            “Oh. That's not what I meant. But may I have one request before you eat me. I want to eat for a while. If I'm full my Dancing would be better,”pujuk Kancil continues to buy time while thinking how to escape from the threat of this dangerous Tiger.

            “Good. I'm giving you a chance. Please find food around here. I watched so you wouldn't run,”pap Tiger finally relented even though he was actually very hungry as well. Since yesterday, no food has gone into his stomach.

            Kancil then tried to find the Umbian around the place. But his steps came to a halt when he saw a large Snake sleeping coiled under the Shrubland. The snake seemed to have no idea with the commotion that had just occurred.

            Kancil then sat quietly near the Snake. The tiger was angry to see it. Instead of looking for food as he requested earlier, Kancil instead sat back and relaxed with his laziness. Angrily the Tiger approached Kancil.

            “Hai, Cil! How the hell, you? Didn't you ask for food? I've allowed you to sit around here,”tens Tiger annoyed not playing.

            “Sst...sabar. And please do not be noisy because I just found the Belt of the Almighty Prophet Sulaiman,”timpal Clever Kancil. He seems to be devising a new trick. He pointed towards the large snake that was coiling not far from where he was sitting.

            “Hei! I'm not stupid, Cil! This Snake is not a belt,”Tiger is getting emotional.

            “That's a Belt but one made of Snake Skin. It is said that anyone who can wear it, he will become the ruler of the Beast on this earth. You're not interested in being the King of Animals?”kancil is convincing.

            “Is that what you said, Cil? How do I get this belt?”tanya Tiger began to be interested in Kancil's explanation.

            “So a voice from Heaven said This belt is actually for me because I found it. But I'm willing to give it to you as long as you're willing to set me free. Hows it? You see if you have worn this belt you can conquer any Animal and eat it as much as you want,”Take Kancil again. Tigers are more interested in getting the belt. He agreed to release Kancil.

            “Keep how to wear it?”asked the impatient Tiger.

            The tiger finally realized that he had just cheated Kancil. But Rice has become a Porridge. He tried his hardest to fight the serpent. With great difficulty, the Tiger was finally able to escape from the coils of the Snake. Although he also suffered injuries from Snake Bites all over his body.

            Elsewhere, Kancil resumed his journey through the Forest in search of food. His ingenuity and patience again saved him.
