Call for help

The atmosphere became quiet, especially when it arrived just miraculously I realized what I had just done to Cornelio.

It felt like I had two different souls, I felt like my body was being controlled by someone else.

I also still see Sendy crying while hugging his dead mother.

"Oh, yes, I forgot that I just let my evil personality out, This has happened many times." Mumbles

I then came out of the house and was shocked, I just realized and felt disgusted with all the charred bodies.

I headed to Cornelio's car which had been smashed, and removed the wreckage of the car that might have covered Cornelio's body.

I didn't find Cornelio's body here, maybe it was reduced to ashes, or maybe it was charred and unrecognizable.

I sat down on the road filled with dust, and closed my eyes with my sleeves.

My bare index finger was shattered when I closed my eyes with my right sleeve.

I went to my house again and saw that Sendy was still crying for her mother, I couldn't calm her down.

But I kept trying to calm Sendy down by saying "Stop crying little girl. You have to stay strong because people around you can be sad to see you like this. If you're still crying, then I'll give you a ring that might make you happy. If you don't like it, then I'll give you a pet that can comfort you. But, if you still cry, then I will reunite you with your mother. I just want you to stop crying and watch you laugh, no matter how." I said with a soothing tone.

"The last part is like a psychopath?" Thought

Sendy stopped crying, and I then wiped her tears using the tissue on the table.

I helped her up with my right hand and she said, "Your hand is no longer painful, but your wound is getting worse!"

"Hehe, really? Maybe now I should get amputated." I said with a smile as if this was nothing serious.

"..."

He was silent not saying a word.

"It looks like the relief team will be here for a long time, because they are worried and suspicious why all the soldiers who are here suddenly become charred. They can't send drones here either, because all electronic equipment can't be active." I said to Sendy

"So where's the ring?" Ask Sendy to me

"Huh?! The ring? I don't have any!"

"So you said if I stopped crying I'd be given a ring."

"Eh, I never said that! I told you if you were still crying I'd give you a ring!"

She started crying again, even though I knew she was just pretending.

I then immediately ran to the second floor and entered Cornelio's room.

I picked up Cornelio's wedding ring in the drawer and I also took the time to pick up Cornelio's credit card because who knows it would be useful.

I then went back down to the first floor and inserted the ring into Sendy's ring finger using my middle finger and thumb, he looked happy when I put it in.

"I'm sure Cornelio would do the same to a little boy." Mumbles

"Heh?! A kid? You yourself are a child!" Sendy said to me.

"Oh, really? I forgot I was only six."

"Haha! I'm older than you! I'm nine years old, and you should call me brother!" Sendy said to me with an expression that seemed like she had forgotten about her mother.

"Well of course, brother!"

"I've erased all the negative memories he's just seen. Now he won't be a depressed kid and always moody" I thought

I turned towards the window and I accidentally saw a black figure shaped like a human peeking at me through the broken window with his hideous face.

That person had a very black body, his lips were extremely red with his eyes perfectly round. His face looked glum while looking at me very sharply.

"It looks like that shadow was Cornelio's childhood friend, maybe now I should be more careful." Thought

"Hey! Why are you dumbass?" Sendy said to me with his face that seemed confused.

"Oh! It's okay!"

"All right then!" Sendy said with a smile

I looked back at the window, but the shadow had disappeared.

Without caring about it I then said "How about we make an SOS sign or maybe a smoke to get help!"

I don't want to waste my time explaining it (Actually because the Author is lazy to research and find out what SOS is)

But I'll still explain it "SOS is a code in the form of sounds or letters used to tell people or certain parties if we are in danger, trapped and so forth." I said without looking on the internet first to be sure.

"Oh, so it is! I want to see you code SOS!" Sendy

I then walked out of this room and headed towards the middle of the open and empty highway.

"Oh, I forgot to take the paint!" My speech

I headed to the paint shop nearby and took/stealed the yellow paint.

I went back to the wide open street and wrote a big SOS on that street (Destroying public facilities).

"Maybe this is enough! Now I'm just waiting for help, of course, from my country to help me." Mumbles

"Eh! Waitaminute! Is it safe to write an SOS in the middle of a war? I don't know, what's important is try it." Thought

Then Sendy pulled my sleeve and she asked me "Are we going to survive this time?"

"Of course!" Answer me

"Eh, wait! Why is Sendy as usual just looking at all the corpses that are here, without touching them at all!" Thought

"Eh, aren't you afraid to see all this?" I asked Sendy

"Fear! So scared! But I forced myself not to trouble you." Sendy said with a smile.

"Is this a side effect of me erasing some of his negative memories? His mentality was too strong for a child his age!" Thought

"Eh, you better stay home! I'll take you there!" I said to Sendy

"All right!" Sendy said with a smile

"From that moment on he kept smiling, did he hold back his fear while smiling?" Thought

I then drove Sendy home because the road was quite close to home.

But on the way I thought of "Eh, what if the shadow was in the house and he hurt Sendy?" Thought.

"How about we go to the paint shop!" I said to Sendy.

"No!! I want to go home!!" Shouted Sendy while looking a little tear out.

"O, look! If you want that!" I said to Sendy

We had then reached home. As it seemed exhausted, I then put Sendy to bed on the sofa and let her rest.

To make sure he stays safe I will keep an eye on him while carrying a weapon belonging to one of the soldiers outside.

8 Hours have passed.

Now I'm still watching the area I marked SOS and I'm still watching Sendy sitting there daydreaming.

"I've tried my best to get him to play, but he insists he won't. I'm worried about his mental state." Thought

Then I heard the sound of a helicopter and a loudspeaker saying "Are there any casualties or civilians who survived? We are Janvie's air force! If you are still safe then walk to a place that is easily visible from a height!" Say someone wearing a loudspeaker.

I then invited Sendy to go out and head to the highway "Hey we'll be safe! The help team is here!"

Then Sendy with a very happy look ran towards the exit, I also followed Sendy out.

Outside I saw there were many helicopters used to search for survivors.

"Hey! We're here!!" Sendy shouted with great pleasure while waving both of his hands.

Then the helicopter came down a few meters from us and people in uniforms got off the helicopter.

The uniforms they wear have a brown and black pattern, in their uniforms there is a symbol of the moon.

They also wear helmets that cover their entire head.

"Hey you should get treatment quickly! your wounds are so bad!" Said one of the soldiers who got off the helicopter to me.

Then the soldier took me in his arms and took me to the helicopter, and so did Sendy.

I was then laid down and given handling by the soldiers.
