Filling Empty Stomach

"You haven't answered my question, Prince! Why are you suddenly taking me home? I haven't even tasted the food that's been served on our table when you know that I'm very hungry right now. And one more, the snake! How did the snake get there?"

The magical man finally turned his head while smiling a warm smile.

For a while both Mila and Prince Hans were still at home with their positions back then. Until finally Mila's hungry stomach undermines, asking for rations to fill.

"Ehm, sorry!" Mila reflexively released the burly arm then hugged her hungry stomach while smiling wryly looking at the magical man.

Prince Hans smiled and patted the shoulder of the tall man sitting at the wheel.

"Find the best places to eat in the city because Mila will eat there" Prince Hans said.

The man nodded slowly, still with his lips tightly locked.

"So right, yeah, this guy can't talk?" asked Mila while linking her two eyebrows in surprise while glancing at the tall man.

Prince Hans chuckled. "He was the snake you saw in the building. But you don't have to worry, he won't hurt you because he's a loyal bodyguard who won't do anything without my orders."

"What!" peek at Mila with round eyes. He even reflexes away a few cent from the tall man. "So-so he's a snake demon?" continued on with a stammer.

Prince Hans again chuckled. "No matter what you call it because it is certain that he is a loyal bodyguard that I can count on at all times."

The big tall man had once teased Mila. He turned his head then stuck out his long, split tongue at Mila while hissing.

"Heyyy!" Mila was horrified. Even the entire fine fur that the body on his body followed stood up.

The car, driven by a tall man, stopped in front of the city's largest and most famous restaurant. Prince Hans immediately led Mila in and invited her to sit at one of the empty tables.

A waiter approached their table and asked what food and drink they wanted to order.

"I want to order all the mainstay menus in this place. And don't forget the drink" said Prince Hans steady.

"Good."

"Prince Hans! Aren't you wrong? Ordering all the menus here, who's gonna spend it?" mila protest.

"You" replied the man with ease.

"Ish, how could that be!" upset Mila.

"No problem, we can wrap it up and bring it home. Or you can share it with the neighbors next to the house."

Mila sighed. "Yes, that's it, then" he replied.

The room was suddenly quiet for a while. Until Mila re-opens her voice.

"Prince," call him.

"Yes?" The magical man looked back at the clingy Mila.

"When will you take me to your world?" lirih Mila with a sad face.

"Quickly," the magical man replied briefly and clearly.

Mila let out her heavy breath. "Can I have a few more days? I want to see my uncle in the village. Yes, even though my uncle doesn't care much about my fate, he's the only family I have. I want to say goodbye to her before we go," said Mila, bowing her head to the floor.

The magical man nodded slowly. "alright. I agree," he answered.

Mila only has an uncle. The sister of his late father. After both of her parents died, Mila hitchhiked at her uncle's residence. Unfortunately, neither the man nor his small family liked Mila's existence which was only considered a burden.

After graduating from High School, Mila desperately wanders into town and finally meets Rika. Friends and friends who have a fate is not much different from him. They are both kara and that is what makes them look after each other.

Not long after, several servants arrived with various menus that had been ordered by Prince Hans before. They arranged the delicious food on the table and after it was finished, they returned to saying goodbye.

"Now eat a lot. I don't want you to get sick because our journey to my world will drain your entire energy" Prince Hans said with a faint smile.

"I forgot to ask you that question, Prince. I wonder how we're going to get to your world? Are we gonna get on a private jet or something? I'm really curious" said Mila, grabbing a spoon and fork, preparing to fill her empty stomach with delicious dishes served on the table.
