Hundreds of years later.
In a waterfall tourism place. Where there is a group of young people who look cool playing while selfie ria. Occasionally there were boisterous sounds of their laughter breaking the silence in that place.
Among them, there was a girl who was even cool to walk through the flow of water alone while enjoying the beautiful natural scenery around the place. However, moments later the girl stopped her steps as a light coming from the water bounced and dazzled her eyes.
"What's that?"
The beautiful girl dimpled her eyes on the object and after careful attention, it turned out that it was a red pendant.
He grabbed it from the water and then took it. "Geez, this necklace is so pretty. Who's it, huh?"
Karmila (Mila, 20) looks around, trying to figure out who owns the necklace. But no one was there. All his friends were near the waterfall.
As Mila was still watching her surroundings, suddenly the girl's eyes were fixed on a mysterious man standing looking at her with a sharp gaze and without blinking a single bit. The man's face looked so handsome, but his skin was too white to be the size of an ordinary human. More precisely, pale.
The man was standing beside a huge tree that was very lush and the distance between the two of them was quite far. To Mila's confusion, the man was wearing unusual clothes. Like royal clothes in ancient times. Looks very handsome and dashing, but still makes Mila scared to death.
"Who is that guy?" muttered Mila with quivering lips while taking a few steps back.
The man's gaze grew longer, looking more and more terrifying. Mila finally decided to leave the place and ran with all her might.
Brugc!
"Aw, Mila! What's the matter, anyway?"
Amidst her fear, Mila unknowingly bumps into a girl named Rika. Rika fell to the ground and grimaced in pain. Realizing that, Mila rushed to help Rika get up and apologized to her best friend.
"I'm sorry, Rika. I didn't mean it!"
"What's wrong with you, anyway? I'm being chased by demons!" chirps Rika while cleaning her dirty pants due to a fall just now.
"There's a strange man in there!" mila said as she pointed to the place where she saw the man.
"Freaky men? Where's where?" rika asked as she walked slowly towards the place indicated by Mila.
"Don't, Rica! I'm afraid that man has evil intentions!" Mila grabbed Rika's hand and tried to hold back the girl's move.
"Already, Mila. You just calm down. If the man has evil intentions, we just scream and friends will come and save us" said Rika.
Instead of listening to Mila's words, Rika continued to step her feet toward that place. Although Mila is still traumatized and afraid, but she will not let her friend go to that place alone.
"Eh, where is he?" Mila watched the big tree, where the strange man had just stood and looked at him.
"So he was there! Right under the big tree," said Mila as he pointed towards the big, lush tree.
Rika turned around then looked at Mila with a strange look. "You're not sick, are you, Mil? I think it's just your hallucination."
Mila shook her head slowly. "No, kok. I'm fine, I swear! I saw clearly, under the tree was a man with a pale face looking at me. The clothes he was wearing looked like clothes in the era of these kingdoms," explained Mila with great enthusiasm.
Rika stroked her nape which felt cold. Suddenly the fine fur that grew around her neck vertical and a cold gust of wind made the girl's guts slightly shrivel.
"Don't say anything weird, Mil. Remember, we're in the middle of the woods" Rika said trying to remind Mila of where they are right now. Not to mention the time that indicates that it is almost evening, where the sun is ready to set.
"But—" Uncompleted Mila said, suddenly Rika pulled her hand and carried the girl away from the place.
Rika stepped up quickly. While Mila follows from behind while offsetting her best friend's quick steps. Upon arrival at the waterfall, it turns out his friends are ready to go home. They seemed busy tidying up the luggage beside the bus that had brought them to this place.
"Hey, where have you been? You don't want to live here, do you?" chirps Rangga, one of Rika and Mila's friends, who leads the group.
Mila and Rika looked at each other for a while and after that only Rika answered the question of the handsome man, the adoration of Mila.
"This is Mas Rangga, Mila keasasi enjoy the beauty of the scenery in this place. Until he forgets time" said Rika.
Rangga laughed softly while teasing Mila who was still speechless with paled lips. "Be careful, Mil. It's famous here, you know! So, don't ever empty your mind, 'cause they like it."
Mila and Rika looked at each other. The guts of the two girls actually shrieked after hearing Rangga's curse just now, especially Mila. What else the girl had just experienced a strange incident around the tourist spot.
"Mas Rangga don't scare us like that, donk. We will be afraid" said Rika while stroking her hands that felt cold alternately.
"Ish, it's not that I'm scaring you guys, but what I'm saying is true. Here many invisible creatures who like to disturb visitors. Especially girls like you. That's why I've reminded you to keep your focus and never empty your mind in this place" said Rangga.
"Yes, already. You better prepare because we have to go home right now," continued Rangga while getting into the bus.
Rangga.
"Already, don't think too much about it, Mil. I think it's just your hallucination. And if that's true, I hope that person is a resident who lives around here," Rika said as she slapped the shoulder of Mila who was still silent a thousand languages.
Mila took a deep breath and then exhaled back. I hope what Rika says is true. Even if it is logically impossible. Because the waterfall is located in the middle of the forest and there are no residential residents around the place.
