The Imperfect Eve

The Imperfect Eve
Dinner

"Non Cansu doesn't need to put Ms. Begum's words into her heart. He's a good guy, just that his words are a little bit cranky." Mbok Latri tried to calm Cansu with his sweet remarks.

"Yes, I know. If I wasn't impatient, Mbok wouldn't have seen me in this room." Cansu, who usually speaks bluntly at his core, is offended, but chooses to stay.

"Dining starts at the turn, I hope the lady is not late. This family is very disciplined, if miss made a mistake on the first day I can't guarantee what Ms. Begum thinks of you." Mbok Latri tried to remind Cansu who looks still disappointed with the attitude of the owner of the house who ignored him.

"Yes, okay." Reply Cansu short.

A second after the middle-aged woman left Cansu's room. The sweet girl began to pay attention to the room in her place with a feeling of takjup. Believe it or not, this mansion was truly like a palace. Every corner that Cansu passed by really amazed him.

"This bed is huge. If Mehek was here he would definitely make a fuss. But wait a minute." Cansu threw her tired body on the bed while thinking about Mehek. Why didn't the bad girl contact him? Didn't he promise to contact Cansu when he arrived in Bandung? Unknowingly, the cansu started to scatter his thin lips.

"Ooo, so this is your true nature? You forgot me after meeting my cousin. Look at it later, I'll definitely teach you a lesson. I'll nag you so you won't dare call me." Cansu grumbled as he grabbed the phone he had placed in the bag.

"What's? Whatisthis? Why am I so stupid? It's just a shame Mehek didn't call me." Cansu stared at his mobile phone, not since when the phone died but he did not realize it.

"Now I feel so much better." Squeak Cansu slowly, he started charging his phone. After that he returned his basket to rest. He began to fall asleep without thinking about anything else.

"Azan Maghrib began to reverberate, what's wrong with me? Why am I sleeping this late?" Cansu stretched his muscles then walked towards the bathroom to take ablution.

Fifteen minutes later, Cansu had finished his prayer. Slowly, he also began to close the mushap that he had brought with him. Reading the Qur'an has always been his favorite activity.

"I forgot, mbok Latri said dinner started at the end, what time is it now?" Cansu grabbed the phone that he put on the nightstand, he swerved, his phone even got out of his hand. Without a second thought, he immediately ran towards the living room where the Lefrand family used to gather for dinner.

"I'm sorry, I'm a little late." Cansu said regretfully, he sat next to a slender girl with shoulder-length hair.

"Hay, my name is Cansu. Are you Miss Begum's daughter?" Cansu asked while thrusting his hand. He did not realize that Madame Begum was looking at him with an annoyed look.

"Yes, brother. My name is Sara, and she's my sister, Ayswa. We studied at the same university." Sara explained while tightly grasping Cansu's fingers.

Dinner was started, dinner which is usually quiet turned boisterous by Cansu who can not be silent.
