The Imperfect Eve

The Imperfect Eve
Porter (36)

Time showed the number 23.39 as Cansu sighed violently, there was no sign that Cansu would lay down her slender body on the mattress. Though Mehek had gone to sleep first, even a subtle sound came out of Mehek's lips, indicating that the girl had flown to dreamland.

Unlike Cansu who is still shackled with his past thoughts. For some reason even though he hated it, still the thought of that annoying young man continued to appear in his mind, not for a day or two but it had been more than three hundred and sixty-five days. Aren't you guys surprised? Yes, Cansu was astonished too. Sometimes people we hate or loved ones dominate our days, whether we are made happy or suffering, which is obviously all very annoying for a Cansu.

"Not slept?"

The sound coming from behind his back managed to make Cansu surprised, the mineral water that he tried to sip out all of them. He rubbed his chest slowly, took a deep breath then slowly exhaled it roughly from his lips.

"Are you not..."

"Sorry."

Cansu's words stuck in his throat when he realized the person he wanted to spray with his thin speech was not Mehek. Usually the girl always preys on it.

"I'm sorry, I was unintentional and I didn't expect you to be surprised because of me." Arsen said in a regretful tone of voice, he was indeed sorry and it was clearly depicted on his handsome face.

"I'm mad at you, and I want to punch you in the face." Cansu chirps, he flicked his thin lips as if he did not give up what Arsen just did.

"Once again, sorry." Arsen resigned.

"Well, since you are sincere when you say it, I will forgive you. But, just for tonight." Chirp Cansu while wiping her clothes with the handkerchief that Arsen gave her.

There was no reply from Arsen other than a slow nod of the head. The man could only mutter when Cansu spoke in a friendly tone of voice.

"Why haven't you slept?" Arsen began to decipher his question as soon as he and Cansu had not spoken to each other for the last few minutes.

"You alone, why haven't you slept?" Cansu replied to the question with a question.

"It's not like that. In the room, it felt very cold. I can't sleep."

"Cold?" Cansu's forehead is wrinkled. He didn't believe what he just heard.

"Isn't your palace much colder? I mean, in your room! It feels weird to hear you say it's so cold in here." Connect Cansu again.

"I know what I say sounds like a prank, and I'm not lying." Arsen looked serious, but in the next second his handsome face carved a charming smile.

"Yes, okay. I trust you. Now tell me, why can't you sleep? Did you miss the woman you dated last time? You can call him." Cansu gave his advice, even though Arsen did not need it.

"Haha." Arsen chuckles. I don't know what the man was thinking until his laughter couldn't subside. Arsen himself was confused as to why he could be that comfortable near Cansu.

"I admit the woman was attracted to me, but not to me."

"You are too proud, the heart belongs to God. What if you're interested in her and then the woman rejects you. What are you gonna do? Crying?" Cansu poked Arsen with his short question.

Cansu and Arsen looked at each other in silence. The two beautiful creatures were lulled by each other's beautiful charm. In his heart Arsen recognized Cansu's beauty ten times greater under the moonlight of the front yard to the Abigail's.

"No, because there's another woman in my heart." Arsen's reply was convincing.

Cansu. That girl? He felt stifled, for some reason his heart felt sad. He and Arsen have no relationship whatsoever. It felt like the old story was reopening, the pain of the past was like it was in plain sight. What's the matter? I hope everything is okay and no one gets hurt.
