"So you two are welcome, huh?" Zhao Shu asked, while looking at Li Kuo and Jian who were the only ones left after the fight ended. Zhao Shu actually stopped before he killed the two older disciples because killing another disciple was a crime.

"Indeed. You got a problem with that?" Li Kuo asked, looking at Zhao Shu's face, which made him glare from all of Zhao Shu's fangirls.

"Oh ... You don't really have the manners of a noble." Zhao Shu said as he shook his head. He then moved away from both. Jian and Li Kuo looked at each other before nodding and separating. Li Kuo had nothing to do and Jian wanted to try breaking through the first step of the Qi Core Realm. He also wanted to explore the forest.

'System, do you think I can break through so easily?' Asked Jian who knew nothing about cultivation.

Jian almost spat out blood when he saw all the details the system provided.

'I know you told me that you could give details about people, but couldn't you tell me that it was too detailed. I should have used this on Zhao Shu and Li Kuo.' Thought Jian. He was a little amazed by the fact that the beast was so powerful, but since he was at peace, he was not afraid of him. That and that look very funny.

Being non-aggressive, Jian decided to approach him. That was a mistake.

Jian instantly froze upon hearing this and rushed back to the tree. The wolf turned his head and looked at Jian, as his legs could be seen even though he was behind the tree. Saliva came out of his mouth as his diamond fangs sparkled. It began to quietly lurk towards him.

'What should I do ?! I'm pretty sure it feels me! ' Shouted Jian in his head. He was not stupid enough to try to escape, the beast could easily outrun him.

" What is it ?!!" This time Jian could not help his voice. His shout made the wolf stop stalking towards him and actually ran at full speed towards him. Jian saw him and decided to climb a tree to escape. He couldn't run faster, but he could jump from one tree to another to escape, he did it once when he was young.

Yet he had forgotten that the beast was at the 9th Step Qi Core. As soon as he climbed the tree, the tree jumped up and reached its level before swiping on it with its claws.

Jian got a severe wound on his back, yet he barely felt it due to his pain tolerance. He grinned when he realized this and then jumped from tree to tree. Wolves are surprised that humans do not scream in pain, but are too hungry to really care.

He jumped from tree to tree as well, following Jian. But actually not so nimble. Although it was faster than Jian, he could not catch it because he was like an agile cat in the trees. However the Beast still managed to make it into a bloody mess by slashing it many times with its sharp claws.

It continued until they came out of the forest. Once there were no more trees to jump, Jian had to run as fast as he could to escape. But the Beast quickly pinned him to the ground. He was so scared that he didn't even think properly. It was a mistake to escape from the forest.

Now that he was faced with the beast, he thought he was going to die. He was a little too young to die, no one knew that because he did not look or act like twelve years old.

Jian stood up though reluctantly as he actually began to feel an immense pain. His pain tolerance has some limitations. He was a bit surprised when he felt the giant beast rub its head against his body.

When Jian saw it, his head fell and Jian's mouth fell.

"You .... You feel sorry ?!" Ask Jian. He was amazed that this beast could truly feel regret.

The beast slightly nodded as if understanding what he meant and Jian sighed in relief.

"Damn .... I really thought I'd die here." Said Jian, who made the beast scream, ashamed of himself.

"Oh come on, it's not your fault, you know? You're hungry and I made a stupid choice to try to get close to you. But you look so sweet!" Jian said, childish excitement visible in his tone, he was still young.

The Beast's tail swayed in happiness and once again he rubbed his head against his body. He then lowered his head and Jian understood the meaning. Hence he climbed up his body and had to grip his fur to stay on it as he started running at full speed.

'Hehe, if it goes that way with great value, I will die before I can understand what happened to me.' Acknowledging Jian to himself. The two young men reached some sort of cave and Jian was startled when he heard the message from the system.

[Side Note: The Golden Rose Cave is a place guarded by Diamond Fangs Wolf. Golden Roses sometimes appear in this cave. They were quite rare and could only be used by cultivators whose ranks were higher than the Qi Core Realm. They can also get a pretty good price. Each rose is worth 1000 LP.]

'..... So I save it for later, or I sell it to the system ... Aghhh! I hate dilemmas! ' Thought Jian.

That and he was already satisfied with His Eternal Body Majesty.

The wolf shouted, indicating that Jian had to jump off his body, which he did. He then pointed at the rose with his head and left the cave. Jian is touched by the actions of the Wolf and decides that one day he will make her his pet. He plucked the rose and put it in his inventory.

'Hah wait .... I never open an inventory.' Thought Jian. He told the system to open it and his eyes widened. He can see a lot of things. It told him the amount of Tokens he had, the amount of LP he had .... It also told him what Treasures he had, what Martial Spirits he had or what techniques he had. He shook his head and saw what he actually had, namely 9 Golden Roses and a broken sword .... Wait for the broken sword?

Jian took out a sword and felt an urge to shout to the sky. A few days ago he was a poor orphan, and now he was an outer disciple of the Toxic King Sect, he was a poor orphan, he was an unknown ranked Soul Inheritance and now he had a Step 5 Core Qi Weapon!

'May the soul of whoever gave me this system be blessed.' Thought Jian, but a great headache was troubling his mind. It then disappeared quickly and Jian inspected his sword.

It was an old black sword that looked like it was made of stone. It did not look sharp at all and there was something written on it, but Jian could not read it.

Now very pleased, Jian put the sword back into his inventory and exited the cave. The wolf was nowhere to be seen so Jian decided to return to the Sect alone. Of course he ran back to the gate because he had a lot of stamina now.

When he returned, the guards were horrified by his circumstances. Jian could not feel much, but his body suffered greatly.

An hour later, Southern Gate Elder Wei Fang got a report about one of the recruits he had received to the sect. Opening the scroll Wei Fang was surprised to see a familiar name appear on it.

"Jian? ..... WHAT'S?! He came back covered in blood, his legs were completely destroyed, with enough scars on his back that someone was screaming in pain and he sold 5 Golden Roses to one of the Outer Court Shops ?! " Shouted the Gate Elders. Right after she screamed, a girl entered the room and asked if she was okay. The girl was wearing a Black and Dark Green robe with the word 'Elite' written on it and her face was hidden by a completely empty snake mask.

"Haha .... HAHAAHA! Lu'er, it looks like an interesting character joined our sect!"
