Chapter 3 - Dying And Abandoned

"Run fast!" nathan shouted at the three hunters, while he and Gary immediately confronted the 6 golems who wanted to target Alvin and his entourage.

After successfully escaping with the help of Nathan and Gary, Alvin and Shiva finally take Nolan away and hide behind a mound of rocks enough to hide the bodies of the three of them.

After feeling safe enough, Alvin uses his healing magic to treat the severely injured Nolan. However, when it was only halfway through the recovery process, Nolan stopped Alvin's efforts.

"Here you go, your healing skills are useless." Nolan said as he brushed off Alvin's arm.

Nolan then reached into his waist bag to retrieve a small transparent bottle from there, he uncorked the bottle and drank the black liquid inside.

"Health potion will work better than your magic" said Nolan after he swallowed the health potion out of the bottle and looked at Alvin while smiling sinisterly at him.

"You..."

"Here you go" said Alvin, holding Shiva as the girl appeared to be fighting Nolan, the Association hunter who had spoken to Brondy in front of the Dungeon gate.

Shortly after, someone suddenly came and immediately hid in the hideout of the three hunters.

Brondy, who had just arrived, directly took out two small bottles of health and mana potions from inside his waist bag and then consumed the contents simultaneously to heal his internal injuries and recover his Mana energy.

After throwing the two empty bottles out of his hands, Brondy turns to Alvin and Shiva and realizes that the person he hates is among them.

Actually, it's not just Brondy who is not happy with Alvin there. Alvin also looked at Brondy with the same displeased look.

"Why are you staring at me like that? You want to die, huh?!" snapped Brondy.

"Tsk...., instead of bluffing me, why don't you bully those golems?"

Brondy immediately lunged and hit Alvin in the face, feeling offended by his words.

As a healer who had the weakest defense among other types of hunters, Brondy's attack, Warrior-type hunters, was enough to make Alvin bounce with just one punch.

"Suckers! How dare a weak hunter like you mock me!" brondy.

Alvin was about to stand up immediately, but he immediately canceled his intention when he saw a stone-bodied creature with a height of more than 3 meters peeking at their existence from behind the mound of stone that Nolan was leaning against.

With widened eyes, Alvin stared at the three other hunters who were still unaware of the monster's presence.

If it wasn't for Shiva being there, Alvin would have turned around immediately and ran away regardless of Brondy and Nolan.

Alvin finally stood up. He quickly ran over to Shiva and grabbed the girl's arm and pulled her away.

“Run fast!"

Despite not seeing what Alvin just saw, Shiva can understand the situation and follow Alvin without asking anything.

Brondy who finally realized the presence of the monster, immediately stood up and left Nolan who was still unaware of anything.

Alvin and Shiva tried to keep running through the thickets opposite the direction from the golem's arrival without looking back again, after they had seen Nolan crushed the golem.

"Death to you loser!" exclaimed Brondy who then kicked Alvin once again with more force, until Alvin bounced further and fell near the foot of the golem that had killed Nolan.

"Alvin!" shiva shouted hysterically as he saw the golem standing behind the man.

But, the warning Shiva gave was already too late.

The golem immediately hit Alvin to make him fly bounced again, right near Shiva's feet.

At about the same time, another golem appeared from their side and immediately ran towards Alvin and Shiva.

Having no strength to stand, Alvin finally thrusts his hand to ask Shiva for help.

"What are you waiting for?! Quick run while the golem is still concentrating on him!" brondy exclaimed to Shiva before he tried to enter through the thick thick bush in his presence.

Hearing that, also seeing the golem that was getting closer, Shiva who was frightened and did not want to die finally ran after Brondy.

"I'm sorry, Alvin!"

The golem finally grabbed Alvin's body and instantly gripped him firmly, crushing the man's body with its huge palm.

In his dying state, Alvin can see Shiva running away following Brondy, instead of trying to save him.

However, the movements made when all the bones in his body were still in a state of broken and crumpled, making him feel pain that is very very torturous.

Along with the pain he felt, Alvin could also feel that there was a flow of Mana energy flowing throughout his body that was in the process of improving the condition of all the bones that the golem had broken and crushed.

Alvin screams in pain as the System repairs his entire bone and muscle tissue. The pain was even more than the pain when his body crushed the golem earlier.

Alvin then heard another voice in his head that gave a warning that the skill he used to stop time had run out.
