PART 68'S. MEET VERA

Sure enough, this was what Diki did not want.

But Diki's attitude is not at all surprised, because according to Diki's prediction, if the incident that happened to Raisa yesterday was heard to the ears of Diki's grandfather then the situation will be used to force Diki back. From the beginning Diki started thinking about how to anticipate it.

A moment of silence, Diki was thinking before making a decision.

Then firmly stated, "I still choose in my path. My wife has nothing to do with anything. Don't you bother him!" Diki walked up to Hendrik and pointed at him. Almost Diki wanted to grip the collar of Hendrik's shirt because of emotion but Diki was resistant.

Diki dislikes dragging Raisa into any trouble, she just hopes Raisa remains unaware of Diki's unusual identity.

The small act that Raisa did by putting Tedi's men into prison made Hendrik proud. At least Hendrik helped, destroying the network bit by bit The Black Jack. Too bad, Diki didn't even want to come back. The opposite attitude of husband and wife in Hendrik's eyes made him want to laugh.

With a mocking smile, Hendrik said, "I'm surprised by you, already having a wife but still harboring an old love for other women until you insist on refusing to fight our enemy. The Black Jack is a top-class mobster that we're supposed to catch. Your wife has helped you pave your way but you refused? That's so funny."

Stunned by Hendrik's words, Diki did not react. Right, Diki should have forgotten his old feelings. Diki already has a wife who she is now starting to love. Is it that hard to forget his past? The memory flashed spinning in Diki's brain.

Hendrik shone in Diki's eyes, Hendrik saw something that Diki was thinking about until Diki fell silent.

"All right, I get it." After that Hendrik turned around and just left.

Huh uh?! What the fuck. Why is this conversation so short?

Diki was surprised by Hendrik's attitude which was very easy to understand when Hendrik had just said something that seemed to mock Diki. Feeling that something was being hidden, it seemed like Hendrik had other plans. It's hard to understand.

Diki's gaze was fixed straight until Hendrik's silhouette disappeared from his view.

Raisa daydreamed, she still thought of Emilia's name spinning around in her head. Jealousy continues to hunt her heart. Feeling something that stuck in her heart, Raisa felt the need to take action.

Along the way, Raisa is filled with suspicion. So he needs to see someone.

"Romey? What are you looking for me for?"

Emilia furrowed her brows, she did not understand the instant Raisa came and went straight to see her even while she was at work.

Raisa registers as Emilia's patient so it's easy for her to meet Emilia under the pretext of treatment.

"Sorry, we need to talk."

Emilia who understood the code Raisa gave and Emilia turned to her assistant, "He's a VIP patient, can you come out for a moment?"

"All right, Doc."

In the room there were only the two of them.

Emilia smiled looking at Raisa's serious face. He welcomed her as kindly as a doctor would have her to a patient. Emilia is not negative.

Different from Raisa. He looks pissed.

"It looks like you're serious, what's the important thing you want to talk about?" asked Emilia innocently.

"Obviously this is important. I'd like to ask, are you trying to disturb my husband?" Raisa said frankly, she felt no need to think about Emilia's feelings. A look of unfriendly eyes emanated from Raisa's gaze. Clearly, he did not like Emilia in the slightest. He's burning blind jealousy and even his brain can't think rationally.

"Disturbing?" Emilia's eyebrows shot up and she laughed at Raisa's joke. There must be a misunderstanding. "I'm not a bully" replied Emilia. Then he said wisely, "You misunderstood."

Emilia who understood the direction of Raisa's conversation, quickly shifted the topic, "If you want to talk about personal matters, we can find time. Sorry in advance, there's a lot of patients waiting outside."

Raisa felt embarrassed, she finally understood. "Of course we should talk when you have some free time, may I have your phone number?"

Emilia agreed, she gave her phone number. Perhaps after this, there would be a long chat between Raisa and Emilia.

As soon as Raisa comes out of Emilia's room, she accidentally collides with Vera, a friend who met her the other day while with Diki.

"Shey?!" Vera was both shocked and panicked. He hid something and put it in a bag.

For a second Raisa noticed Vera's expression, she did not understand why Vera was acting like that. Why is Vera hiding something, is she ashamed because she is both sick?

But after Raisa reads the sign, Raisa knows Vera has just come out of the obgyn specialist's office. Raisa who does not want to interfere with Vera's affairs, she chooses not to ask. Raisa is lazy to further engage with Vera. Raisa also just said a short greeting, "Hi...!" Then he turned around.

Vera chased after Raisa and kept calling out to her. "Raisa, wait...!" Vera's voice echoed along the hospital hallway.

Raisa turned around because she could not bear with Vera who tried to chase after her, surely it was exhausting for Vera who was pregnant young. Indeed Vera's stomach has not been bloated, but Raisa easily guessed just by assuming Vera had just checked with the obstetrician. Vera was like out of breath when walking quickly balanced Raisa's steps.

"Why are you following me?" Raisa finally stopped her steps.

Vera caught her breath before saying, "Do you remember the invitation I gave you the other day?"

Raisa thought for a moment, "Oh, yes I remember."

"Don't forget to come to my party tonight."

"Yes, if there's no obstacle." Raisa said nonchalantly.

"It's a pity that you weren't there when I also invited some of your close friends during school." Vera fishing Raisa. That way, Raisa is sure to be present. This is what Vera expected.

"All right, I'll come" Raisa said quickly. Raisa thought, maybe this is a rare opportunity to meet her friends and think of it as nostalgia.

"Thank you." Vera sumringah, she continued, "Oh yeah, don't forget to take your husband along too." Then Vera waved to Raisa and she left Raisa just like that in a hurry.

'Huh?! Unresolved Emilia's problem, now the Vera is coming, as if she wants to rush into my life. It sucks!' raisa's curse in her heart full of annoyance.

What exactly is Vera's intention? Invite Raisa or want to see Diki again? Raisa's face is wrinkled after coming home from the hospital.
