"Virtez The Devourer?"

Nier slightly tilted her head which indicated she did not understand. He didn't even know what about Virtez so how could he know what this old man meant.

Van was slightly surprised to see Nier's puzzled expression. Van raised his eyebrows, he felt that there was something strange after seeing Nier's expression.

"Ah... Shit it's my fault..."

Van patted his forehead, after hearing Virtez's great name he immediately thought Nier was his student just maybe his teacher did have the same name but the person was different.

"Ehem, ..I'm sorry for being too excessive, it's also impossible that you're a disciple of Virtez The Devourer. Maybe it's just the same name."

After his father's death, Virtez went insane and performed a black magic ritual to reawaken his father, not only did he even kill thousands more of the Optima empire's residents just for the requirements of the ritual.

But. the ritual process was immediately known by the 4 major Churches. With such a short time the Church brought thousands of Paladins, Holy Knights, and high-level Priests to kill Virtez.

The fight between the two happened and on that very day the Optima Empire disappeared from the map, the entire imperial family and almost the entire population of Optima died because of that fight.

You know what happened next?, when the last dying Virtez performed a ritual with millions of dead victims.

Virtez's body was badly injured but he kept doing his rituals. An extremely terrifying darkness shot out from Virtez's body.

Everything is black, nothing but black. After a minute passed the darkness disappeared and was replaced by an unbelievable sight.

Virtez has disappeared, but not just Virtez, all the corpses, blood, bones, and flesh that were scattered where they all disappeared. People who are still alive cannot believe after seeing what happens. It is for this reason that Virtez earned the nickname The Devourer.

The Church does not know Virtez is still alive or not therefore they set a price on Virtez's head.
