Honesty Santoso

Santoso pleaded with God for him to be given a chance to explain the true events, and the Gods gave Santoso the opportunity to tell him, "Well.. I'll give you a chance, but if you don't tell me the truth, then I'll hang your head on that door." God threatened.

With his feet and hands tied, Santoso began to recount the incident, "Actually about a week before the order went down, rumors were already circulating in our squad, that there will be arms smuggling through Borneo waters carried out by military personnel. I don't know who the personnel are and what unit they're from.." Santoso took a moment off.

"Who spread that rumor and how did it spread..?" ask God.

"I don't know who first spread it in our squad, which definitely didn't take long for the rumors to become a conversation in our squad. Three days later the news spread that who would smuggle weapons was Ganendra's army. But I sensed that there was something strange about the news that was spread, I was suspicious because the rumors were only circulating in our squad, while the other squads in our unit were not aware of any such rumors. I felt that the information about the smuggling of weapons was fabricated." Santoso said.

"Then what happens next..?" dewa Sahut.

"My suspicions grew even greater when there was an order from the superior, but it was only addressed to three people from our squad. Me and my two friends were given the task of joining the other Ganendra forces to become snipers. However I cannot refuse the order and inevitably have to carry out the order, you must understand what I mean." Santoso said.

The gods are increasingly curious about Santoso's story, "Then what orders do you get..?" ask God.

"Santoso exhaled before replying, "Hhuuuuffhh.. Initially we were assigned to backup Ganendra's squads I, II and IV. But the order changed on the way, which is to shoot you and the king of Yama dead." Santoso replied.

The gods were surprised to hear Santoso's story. He did not expect that he was the target, the Lord continued his question, "You are sure they are from Ganendra's army..?" dewa asked, and Santoso immediately answered the Lord's question, "I don't know, but I feel that the army is not only Ganendra's army but a combination of several special forces.." 

The god took a deep breath, "If I am the target, why don't you do it, but instead you divert the target to my partner..? Just so you know, to protect me, he died by your bullet..!!" said Dewa.

"W-who do you mean I shot dead..? I didn't shoot anyone dead." he said in self-defense.

"Sat..!! You killed my partner but didn't confess..?" yuma snapped while aiming a punch at Santoso's face, but God quickly stopped him, "Enough.. Stop Yud..!!" god Hardik.

"You remember Sandhi..? The man you shot in the back and broke through to the chest..?!" yuma snapped while holding Santoso's collar.

"Who said he died..? He's still alive, and now he's definitely as active as ever.  You can see the evidence on my phone, you just open my video call with him while he's still in the hospital." said Santoso with teary eyes.

Yudha checked Santoso's pocket, but did not find the phone in question. Then God ordered Roni to check the car for Santoso's phone that fell on the car. Roni quickly checked the car and returned with Santoso.

"Open it, the code is 101010." said Santoso Lirih.

Dewa opens Santoso's phone and checks the gallery and finds a video recording of Sandhi and Santoso's conversation. Through the video, Dewa sees Santoso talking through a video call with Sandhi. Sandhi is seen lying on a mattress with an infusion and a breathing apparatus on her nose. In the video, Santoso weeps apologizing to Sandhi, and Sandhi forgives everything Santoso has done, even thanking Santoso for letting the Gods go. The god could hardly believe what he saw, "I-this how is it possible..? I saw for myself the wound was clearly piercing through Sandhi's chest." asked the God in disbelief.

"Open the next gallery. There I was able to photograph the results of the Ronsen from Sandhi. The bullet didn't hit Sandhi's vital organs, it even passed through the sidelines of his ribs." said Santoso.

"Who brought Sandhi..? Where is she now..?" dewa Sahut.

"All I do is request your commander, Kol. Sumardi, and he was also the one who took Sandhi after the incident, I helped him get into the evacuation helicopter myself." said Santoso.

"Is the commander involved in the plan..? Or is he the one who deliberately hit us..?" ask the gods to make sure.

"No, I'm pretty sure he wasn't involved in even deliberately protecting you. So the day before we left he met me at the camp where we were gathered. He told me there would be a change of command for me, as I said earlier. Col. Sumardi told me, that he has already changed your formation. But I said I should keep shooting at the target. Col. Sumardi said that my target was whoever was in your position, but I had to make sure that my shot was not fatal to the target. He also asked me to release you and Yudha. It's actually very easy for me to aim and shoot you, but I trust Kol more. Sumardi's.." Santoso recounted the incident, then he continued, "I purposely recorded our conversation, because I was worried that it would be made a scapegoat later." said Santoso.

The god listened to the recording of the conversation between Santoso and Kol. Sumardi. There sounds Kol. Sumardi asked Santoso as Santoso told him, even Kol. Sumardi asked Santoso for assurances that Dewa and Yuma must survive. "So this is the reason the commander changed our formation just before we left..? I thought it was natural, it turned out that I had misjudged the commander. He had thought about it to that extent." muttered the God in heart.

"Captain Lord, from my story you should know that you and Yudha are the real targets. Even the pursuit orders and fugitive status are only for you and Yudha. I don't know why or who wants you either." he said.

"Maybe the commander knows the truth of the captain." Yuma said.

"Then what was the fate of two of my colleagues who were caught..?" ask the gods to make sure.

"If it's a problem I don't know. Two days after carrying out the order, I was transferred here because I was deemed to have failed in my duties. Captain, I will help you, I also want justice for me and my family. Now open the next photo in the gallery.." pinta Santoso.

God opened the gallery and found a picture of himself with his wife and two children. A very harmonious family photo, "What do you mean by this photo..?" ask the Lord wonder.

"They guarantee that what I'm telling you is not true.. Currently they are in the village of Pajang, AD." he replied trying to convince the gods.

With the perception of his soul, the God did not discover the lies of Santoso's story at all. Instead he found Santoso's sincerity in every speech. Santoso was determined to help the gods for justice for himself and his family.

"Yud, let him go." God ordered.

"Since when have you doubted your own abilities and mine..?" ask God, then Yuma releases Santoso

Santoso's bond was broken, but he did not stand up immediately but bowed to them. He apologized for everything that had happened, "Captain, King Yama, I apologize for what I have done. I will give my life to you, but I beg you to give justice to my family." said Santosi lirih.

The god helped Santoso to his feet, then Santoso hugged the God in tears, then Santoso said, "Captain, indeed with my position now I cannot directly help you, but I can mobilize my friends to find information." Santoso assured the gods.

"Alright, but you know, you still have to hide our identity. So don't call me that again.. Okay..?" speak the gods firmly.

"Prepare the hood uh. bang anu boss.." replied Santoso nervously.

After everything was done, the Gods immediately invited them away from the place, and returned to where the fighting competition was free to be held. Before leaving God took the time to channel his spiritual energy to that place, so that souls who were from the beginning were unhappy with their presence became calm.

Roni drove her car in the company of the God sitting in the front seat. Yuma and Santoso sat in the middle seat. In the car they chatted casually, "Eh boss, what was the boss..? Like a ritual..?" ask Yuma.

"Oh.. I was praying for those souls who were very unhappy with our presence there." God replied casually.

"J-so that place is b-really haunted boss..? Hiiiiii.." asked Roni begidig.

The god only laughed faintly at Roni and Yuma's words. Next he introduces Roni to Santoso, "Bang San, who is driving this is Roni. Yud, you're not sorry about Santoso..? Didn't you just make him faint..?" dewa.

"Eh.. Did the boss tell you to..? Yehudah, bang mentos, I'm sorry..? Still hurts his neck..?" ask Yuma.

"Let's forget about that. I can understand what you're doing. Instead, I thank King Yama and God's boss, now I'm more relieved because the things that burdened my mind so far have all come out." replied Santoso.

"Eh Yud, what do you call him..? Mentos..? Well you have no respect, however, Santoso bang is a lieutenant, while you are only a sergeant." said Dewa.

"I don't want to remember that anymore. So it doesn't matter what you call me, just relax." said Santoso.

Roni was finally able to smile after hearing them joke. Until finally he dared to ask, "Sorry boss, so actually you guys are soldiers..?" ask Roni.

"Yes could be said to be like that, or rather a fugitive army.. Haha.. But Ron, keep this a secret. Do not let anyone know including Loreng.." said the god firmly.

"Woi little man.. Denger said your boss." Yuma chirped

Dewa asked Roni to take him to the hotel where he was staying and asked them to go directly to the GOR. There was already Loreng waiting at the entrance of the north GOR where Roni parked his car.
