The God of Heras and Herjules

Devastations

Seeing all his men sprawled, the leader of the hunters became very furious. He drew his sword and attacked Herjules. The chief hunter slashed his sword into Herjules' body. Herjules fended off with his left hand, while his right hand struck his opponent's heart. The leader of the robbers was pushed back. He grimaced with the immense pain. He was silent for a while waiting for the pain to lessen. After the pain had lessened, he again attacked by snapping his sword. However, before the sword hit Herjules' body, Herjules struck a powerful blow right at his head. The punch made the leader of the robbers thrown and hit the tree. The leader of the robbers was killed instantly with his head broken.

Seeing the leader of the robbers killed, the robbers immediately knelt before Herjules.

"Punish us, young man," said one of them.

"I forgive you" said Herjules.

"Thank you" they said, then hurried away.

Herjules immediately brought his hunted animals home.

Ten years later, Herjules has become a grown man. He married a beautiful girl. They have a daughter named Delvina. She was only thirteen years old.

As usual, this morning Herjules went to the fields to care for lombok plants. Upon arrival in the field, he was surprised because some of his lombok plants were eaten by deer.

Herjules traces the deer. The deer went into the forest. By late afternoon, Herjules found a deer hideout. Herjules saw the deer walking towards the river. Herjules took a bow on his back. He took aim at the deer, then released his arrow. The arrow slid quickly and precisely into the stomach of the deer.

The deer was surprised and ran very fast. Although, the body of the deer has been hit by an arrow, but he is still able to escape.

Herjules followed the droplets of blood from a wounded deer. Moments later, he found the deer dead. Herjules brought the deer home.

Arriving home, Herjules was shocked. His house has been destroyed. Not just his house. Other homes were also destroyed. No one is visible. Herjules went into the house to check on his wife and children. However, he did not find both. Herjules suspected that his village had been destroyed and his wife and son had been taken away. However, he did not know who destroyed his village.

"She....!" Herjules. He sat down and sank while sobbing.

Someone came to see Herjules. His name was Toran. Herjules stood up and approached Toran.

"Toran, what's going on?" tanyakanya.

"Our village is destroyed. All men were killed. All the women and children were taken" Toran said.

"Who destroyed our village?"

"I don't know. But, I saw them carrying a green flag with a scorpion."

Herjules did not know about the flag. Herjules did not know what to do. Toran has gone.

"Dad! make me a god so I can stop their savagery!" jerked Herjules to the god Heras, his father.

A ball of light shot from the sky approaching Herjules. Inside the ball of light was the god Heras.

"My son, you must be strong to accept this reality" said the god Heras.

"Dad, make me a god so that I can stop their cruelty" Herjules said.

"You are a demigod. To become a god, you have to pass a test. If you make it through the test, I will make you a god" said the god Heras.

"Say the test. I'll get through it."

"The test is you have to kill Darcon."

"That's impossible. Darcon is a seven-headed creature that can't be killed."

"If you want to become a god, there's no other way but you have to pass the test."

"But the test was too hard. I could have been killed by Darcon. Or maybe you deliberately make it difficult for me so that I can't become a god?"

"You can back off if you can't. I'm not forcing you to be a god."

"alright. I'm gonna kill Darcon. Where is he?"

"See with Revu. He can help you figure out Darcon's whereabouts" said the god Heras, then disappeared.

Herjules went to Revu's house. Revu is a handsome young man.

Revu was practicing swordplay with his friend when Herjules arrived at his house.

Revu halted his training once he saw Herjules coming.

"I Revu. What do you need to see me?"

"Revu, I'm Herjules. Your best friend when we were kids."

"So, you're Herjules? We haven't met for a long time. Are you married?"

"It has. You you?"

"I'm not married yet. No woman in the world wants to marry me."

"You don't say that. You'll definitely get a soul mate."

"I'm not sure. What's the matter with you to see me?"

"I'm gonna kill Darcon. Do you know where he is?"

"I don't know. But, I know people who know Darcon's whereabouts. His name was Yofam. He lives in the stealth forest. Why do you want to kill Darcon?"

"Herjules, did you already know that Darcon is a creature that cannot be killed?"

"I already know. Thank you for giving me the information. Now I'm going to the stealth forest."

"I'll go with you."

"It's good you don't have to come because it's very dangerous."

They rode horses towards the stealth forest. On the way they heard the screams of a girl asking for help.

"There's a girl asking for help" Revu said.

"Yes. Let's see."

They were heading for the sound of that scream. They saw three men trying to rape a girl. The two men broke down and held the girl's hands together. The girl thrashed.

"Tolooooong....!" yelled the girl.

"Huh.huh....HU...! scream as loud as you. There will be no one to help you" said the man in front of the girl.

The man approached the girl. He started to undress the girl.

"Don't..," said the girl.

"Stop!" Suddenly I heard the screams of a man.

The man stood up. He saw two men not far from where he was standing. They are Herjules and Revu.

"Who are you?" ask the man.

"You don't need to know who we are. Let go of the girl" said Herjules.

"You don't interfere in our affairs if you want to live longer" the man threatened.
