I walked into the room. Holding a dizzy head and feeling heavy after a long sleep. It's been 3 days since I was hospitalized. Time travel is making me better now.
I threw myself into bed and remembered what had happened before. All that ringed in my head was the dimsum that he ate after coming from the office.
My phone ringed “Hallo, Assalamu’alaikum, Sir,” I replied immediately standing when receiving a call in.
“Hallo mas Aska, have you returned home from the hospital?” Ask someone from behind the phone.
“Udah sir Alhamdulillah, tomorrow I have started to enter again InsyaAlloh.”
“Do not, mas, rest first aja cutinya I have taken care of until this weekend. Tomorrow at home yes mas.”
“Waduh I so not good, sir, have not entered a week,” I replied while grinning.
“Do not need to cry, mas, I indigo can know if you are smiling,” his words make me laugh, know aja emag pak kadiv this “Yaudah yes, mas, the important rest first, wassalmu’alaikum. Anu I'm joking I'm not indigo.”
“Hehe ready, sir, wa’alaikumsalam.”
The one who called just now was the head of the division at my workplace. His name is Mr. Langgas, hmm I think I'm no longer just his men in the office, maybe more like a discussion friend, hmm not closer. Office ministers also often say that we both look alike. So close to Mr. Langgas, I was once invited to tour with Motor Club Pak Langgas.
A little story about my experience with my father, uh I mean Mr. Langgas, in addition to being the head of Division in the office he is also the chairman of the Motor Club. Not kidding, the club's motorbike is filled with motorcycles that have more than 500 cc. Motor Club Pak Langgas is the king of the streets, if the Motor Club passes all in respect, the mothers who ride the motor lights seinnya random stop to pay respects, the angkot who likes to turn left suddenly, will turn right, the police sleep on the street will wake up for the honor of his brother.
Unfortunately, the joy was not accompanied by their touring activities. Once I was invited to tour with Pak Langgar to the top, not to eat Sate Marangi, but to make bird nangkep.
“Punten, sir, gun to shoot the bird where ya?” I asked when I arrived at the location where the birds nangkep.
“Do not, noisily,” replied Mr. Langgas.
“Ohh we want to make catapults?”
Mr. Langgas shook his head. She was wearing gloves while looking at my face “Realman use their hand to catch their bird.”
Mr. Langgas ran bushes with his body slightly loosened. His hands were stretched out like people playing Volly. Shortly after running his hand grasped 1 pigeon “Like this, Aska.”
I nodded in a sign of understanding with a stupid face. Although at the end of the day what I did when imitating the movements of Mr. Langgas is not much different like a frog who was eager to jump. I was thinking about how Mr. Langgas grew up. Even during the Antiquities of Homo erectus catapult technology already existed. The Prophet Muhammad also made war arrows. Never mind at home Mr. Langgas warmed the rice still using a stone swiped. Rouse suspiction.
After hanging up the phone, I put my face under the bed. Shortly after, I fell asleep.
“Tok tok,” heard a knocking sound that woke me up. I jumped up and the pillow was thrown, then got up and opened the door.
“Loh, no one,” I murmured in my heart.
“Tok tok,” I turned to the window. Across the window, Usy waved his hand with a big smile.
I walked while shaking my head “Why not through the front door just a pretty Usy.”
“Udah, I said you were sleeping and told to wake you up. Let it be different I ngetok from the window only hehe.”
“You entered through the window?” bargain me with a slightly ugly face.
“Crazy times lu ye, cook us in the room together, you're out dong, Ka!” snapped Usy.
“Lah thought I would turn out of the window, neng,” while sitting in the Window Frame “Tau not yesterday I fainted, it was a dream to meet myself.”
“Wanna tell me, babe?” hail Usy with a smile.
I nodded while returning a smile Usy “Ok, but you better go through the front door and do not be in the window. You don't think we're like people who have discussions to steal at home.”
Usy chuckled, and then he walked to the front door. I cleaned his room and walked in the kitchen. I prepared 2 glasses of warm tea because I knew our conversation might last quite a while. Usy also prepared fruit snacks and some pastries.
The living room in the house is minimalist. With 1 long sofa, 2 facing chairs, and 1 white table with rectangular cladding. The atmosphere of the living room at home has a monochrome concept with a white sofa, and the pillow is dark gray. There is a black table with reading lights and a home phone, plus a white canvas with feathers makes the living room look sweeter.
I walked while carrying tea, so that the guest room stopped my steps for a moment. For a moment to see the whole room and enjoy the living room of my house which is already much different from the living room when I was in SD. There were no couches and tables, only a carpet that was stretched out in the middle of the room. The only sweetener in the room is the nastar which is always available because Yasmin's mother loves to make nastar. I smiled widely, then walked open the door for Usy.
“My favorite session is Pir,” reply Aska happy.
“So, how?”
For a moment I was silent, I was thinking a little about the storyline “Yesterday I did time travel, Sy. I turned back when I was 12, I was back when I was in high school, I was back when I was in college. I was not as I was at that time, I became someone else, so Aska met Aska, I met me.”
Usy raised an eyebrow, nodded, then let me continue the story.
“I met with myself, and,” before continuing my sentence I was silent for a moment “I tried to change the first.”
“You mean try the old change?”
“Try shadow you were given a chance to make the past, cook yes you do not want to fix your mistakes first?” I replied with a slightly raised tone.
“Oh, what do you want to fix?” Ask Usy subtly.
“Everything,” I replied while looking at the eyes of Usy “Family financial health, my school environment, soul mate, yes much.”
Usy smiled to see me. He was silent even though he knew that the last word hurt himself a little. It was silent for a few minutes, they just stared at each other in the eyes.
“Aw, Ouch!” I complained while trying to close my eyes with my hands.
“Why, Ka?” Usy asked in surprise and came closer.
“No, gakpapa kok.”
I feel like there's something strange. I brewed the tea in front of me, then discussed the matter of her marriage next month. After finishing discussing it, Usy said goodbye. The conversation that followed was just a small talk. Work with each other, what happens when I pass out, and some bucketlist ahead.
“Ka, thank you, I came home first,” said to Usy.
“Iya thanks for the food, next time if you wake up do not go through the window, through the roof,” I replied a little joking “You want me anterin gak?”
“Do not need to bring a motor,” replied Usy.
“Gakpapa I anterin aja ya.”
“Still, you take a break. Just got out of the hospital already sokan nganterin me.”
“Yaudah ati-ati yes,” Aska rubbed Usy's hair, Usy replied with a smile.
Usy chuckled as he walked towards his motorbike parked at the corner of the fence. We wave our hands before we part. I walked over to the gate and opened it. We parted and threw each other smiles.
“Tadi what is it?” I muttered as I walked into the room.
I can see the past again. Shortly after seeing Usy I could see Usy's past. We know each other from Junior High. Good friends have been a long time. I think I know Usy pretty well, a lot of the moments we spent together, a lot of things we shared a lot. Unfortunately that looks not our friendship first, but Usy who was treated abusively, from his parents, even his brother when he was in college and forced to stay at his brother's house.
I saw a paralon grabbing Usy's right shoulder. No mercy, even when Usy had cried the hand had not stopped swinging the paralon to Usy. I didn't see it until it was over, when she was terrified I screamed and the vision was gone.
Without realizing it, there was something I didn't know about Usy. Even when we are getting married soon and already feel open to each other, but there are things that Usy never told me.
While sitting in his bed, I thought that there must be something in the past Usy that he did not know.I feel I should know everything from Usy, Usy, this is my last chance to judge the man I'm going to marry.
“Eh daft, earlier before I could see the past Usy I did say yes,” muttered me while jumping from the bed and pacing.
I remembered what I had done before, until finally realized why I could see the past. I looked at Usy's eyes for a while, until I finally got into the past.
Finally, I remembered the moment when I could see myself in the past. I got hit by a motorbike on my way home from work. My head was hit, and right in front of my falling position there was a rearview mirror motor that came off. I stare at him for quite a while, until I finally pass out.
As soon as I take a piece of paper from the book, then write something “You loose next weekend? I bought sea food,” Aska wrote in a message she sent to Usy.
