The Enchantment of the Pelintrik

The Enchantment of the Pelintrik
Dreams of Losing a Ring

It was too early for a gloomy face. Last night's nightmare brushed aside Irma far from memory. He convinced himself that dreams are only flowers of sleep, not a sign or warning about the end of the world. It could be .. quarrel with Beni is what causes Irma to get the dream.

Irma closed her eyes for a moment, felt the wedding ring she dreamed of missing last night, then breathed heavily. I hope everything will be okay. Shadow Beni went with another woman who these few days danced in the eye puffs, banished from her mind.

Irma prayed in her heart, asking for guidance from God and asking for calm. He also busied himself by cooking in the kitchen for breakfast and stocking his two children who will go to school.

Novan is already second grade in Elementary School, while Novia is first grade. Her two children are growing up and need a father figure, so Irma presses her ego not to think negatively about her husband. He wants to stay sane to face the problems that are plaguing his household.

“Mama, who will I be picked up with?” ask Novan when he says goodbye.

“Acquired Aunt Dina, mama later want to shop contents of the shop!” irma replied while kissing her two children who were going to school.

After the children went to school, Irma made her husband's favorite breakfast menu. Fried chicken and vegetable soup. Tomato sauce is deliberately made not too spicy to spoil Beni's tongue.

Finished in the kitchen, Irma takes a bath, dresses up and sprays perfume even if only to accompany Beni breakfast. Her eyes are covered with makeup. Although not so painstaking when helping Beni in the salon, but Irma quite able to dress up for herself. She used to be an SPG, makeup was a standard obligation.

Irma looked in the mirror, honestly her heart was hurting. He still remembers Beni's rude speech last night. But there is nothing Irma can do but lower the ego, all done for the happiness of her children. In essence, the household must remain intact at all costs. Irma could not imagine if Novan and Novia became victims of parental divorce.

If Irma must be self-improving to improve this unfortunate situation, why not? He still loves Beni. And whatever Irma would do to get Beni to retract her words, cancel her divorce.

After arranging the dishes at the dinner table, Irma told her husband's sister who had just returned home to take her two children to breakfast immediately and open the salon.

“Salon will be cleaned immediately yes, Din! Do not wait Dila so your brother does not nag,” said Irma reminded.

Dina said, “Basic Mas Beni aja sensian, a bit of urgency. Yesterday I cleaned it all up, Ma'am! Uh ... he said still less kinclong!”

Irma smiled, “Your sister may be dizzy thinking of her undeveloped salon business! Mbak again want to find a loan to the bank to help.”

“Only Mas Beni want to bigin his salon?”

“Mau plunged into the beauty clinic business he said,” replied Irma.

Dina just ooh without responding any further. He decided to finish breakfast and clean the salon.

Irma stared at the wall clock that pointed at the number eight. She intended to wake her husband, but Beni was already at the door, preparing to take a bath.

Irma turned around to make warm tea, after which prepared a clean shirt for Beni to wear. She waited patiently for her husband at the dinner table.

Ten minutes later, Beni came out of the room wearing another shirt, not the one Irma had prepared. Beni was wearing a neat suit like she was about to leave the house. The smell of perfume was smelled from two meters away.

Irma noticed her husband's change with a lyrical heart. Beni never paid for it while she was married to him. The smell of perfume is new and foreign in Irma's smell. Irma breathed a long breath, maybe Beni was indeed a second puberty as often talked about by young mama-mama neighbors.

Beni stared at Irma at a glance, “Breakfast?”

“Iya! Come here cold hunt all later!” Irma scoops the rice onto the plate, picks up the side dish and serves it at the table while waiting for Beni to sit down.

Beni watched the contents of the dining table without interest. His breakfast taste was gone, he sat quietly expressionlessly. Like a fool.

Beni also did not touch the food Irma served. The scent of soup and his favorite chicken somehow made his stomach nauseous. Even his gentle wife's greeting could not touch his heart which was beginning to be filled with hatred.

Beni rubbed her face rough. Does he really hate women who have given birth to two children? The woman who is eight years old accompanies her likes and sorrows? Ah yes ... Beni was also confused, he did not know where all the flavors he had for Irma all this time?

Didn't Beni like Irma who was strong and financially independent? Who does not depend on it from matter to matter? The woman who sincerely accepts her capital only ‘birds' when married by the ruler?

Beni still remembers that she adores Irma who is not beautiful but has a good heart! Beni also did not forget, when his salon business had not found customers, and at that time he had to send money to his mother who was admitted to the hospital, and at that time he had to send money to his mother who was in the hospital, Irma owed her boss six months of salary.

“Mas .. Why even daydream? Let's eat!” irma said while scooping food into her mouth. He wanted to have breakfast together as usual.

“I have no appetite,” replied Beni flat.

“You want another breakfast? The soto? Vegetable fillings?” Irma almost lifted her ass, ready to go buy what her husband wanted.

Beni pushed her plate towards the middle of the table slowly, then opened the phone without feeling guilty. “I'm seriously not hungry, you don't bother cooking for me from now on! You are not my wife anymore, so there is no need to serve me. I divorced you last night!”

Irma's face seemed to be watered by boiling water, hot and red because it held back tears. Her emotions uncontrollably faced Beni who spoke without using feelings.

Irma spontaneously picked up Beni's plate, throwing it away with half a throw in the trash. He also threw away all the food on the table with anger that almost blew his chest.

“Because we're not husband and wife, we can't stay one more roof. Please get out of this house!” expel Irma. His shout was resolute despite sounding hoarse and pitiful. He desperately endured the cries of defeat.

“I really intend to go today!” say Beni without burden. He left the house with light steps. It carried nothing but what was attached to its body. Of course Beni does not want to leave his favorite phone.

So impressed, Beni did not say goodbye to his sister who was busy cleaning the salon.

Irma stared at Beni's departure with tears in her eyes. He ran to the room, spilling his sadness on the pillow that Beni used to sleep on. Irma's hand lifted her husband's pillow, hugging and inhaling the smell of Beni left there.

Until finally Irma's eyes full of grief catch something that was previously stored under Beni's pillow. A thin, pictorial object made of paper. A card.
