Episode 31 of Arc Dark Eye: The Family Team Part I

‘’When I was in a fire so many people could and should have saved me. But, they were all just silent to see even happy to find an innocent little boy roasted only because they did not like his father and mother’’ Lara said very calmly

‘’The boy is trying to come out with all the ability and energy he has. But, he found no way for him to escape from the hands of the huge dragon that wanted to swallow him. If he comes out he will die and if he stays he will die" Lara added

"I always remember how when my dad asked me why they did that which they easily said ‘’it's just a small sacrifice for a bigger thing’’ like this time’’

‘’If you think I'm the devil. And so, blame those who have formed me so as soon as’’ Lara stands wearing her mask hatefully to Mira who is just glued.

Lara has learned more than Mira has learned in her entire life. The night of the fire taught him what a human being really meant.

He was disappointed in his mother and father because of the problem of not trying to save him and even forgot about himself when the fire which then made another disaster that was bigger.

He left his father dead and his mother in a coma for years. He never forgot how he was almost killed by the people who were supposed to protect him and look after him when he was very young.

Lara was no longer the naive and innocent child she had learned and would never let go of the opportunity to kill anyone who stood in her way. He would also never hesitate to sacrifice anyone for every possibility in his plan.

But, Lara would never sacrifice the person she cherished and loved just because of her personal lust. He will not choose it, even if it is the most profitable possibility for him.

‘Sorry I didn't know’’ Mira's voice sounded from behind

‘’That's the past I've forgotten it’’ Lara said as she closed the office door and walked out

Mira flinched and then lowered her head took her magic wand that had fallen down earlier. I don't know why he's so useless against Lara right now. But, then Mira soon realizes what Lara is feeling is not something she could ever even understand.

She still remembers Lara describing herself as fighting a fire and at the same time being surrounded by people who wanted to kill her.

He did not dare to imagine the pain Lara felt and how she could still live with such a wound until now. As she recalled that she felt she was getting smaller when compared to Lara.

‘’Have not thought about it, you're not wrong’’ Ligar tried to comfort his brother

‘’No, he's right I'm wrong to think he's in evil and we're good. Basically we ourselves are also just as evil even more than he’’ explained Mira while holding her weapon tightly.

‘’Do we ever think there are other people out there being victims for the comfort and wealth we enjoy now?, I think we both thought instead that we were always unlucky from the others and kept looking up unconsciously we had been trampling on the people below us as we walked’’ Mira stared to the door where Lara came out

‘’Funny yells at the bad guy who is aware of what he is doing when we ourselves are not aware of what we have done even worse’’ Mira smiles bitterly at herself

‘’You are right, we are so..’’ said Ligar helped his brother stand up.

‘’we must immediately complete all the things we have to do now. There are many things we have to finish and our time is not much. you please help me get everything done as fast as possible’’ said Mira

Villagers formed a line of entry into the location of the village office and the newly established temple, along with that all the players who were near the village came to the wall to and formed a defense along with some villagers who had military talent and experience.

All players realize now is not a safe time to hunt alone. The disaster that occurred would not be able to fight them alone or even with their small group. But also not to be missed because where there is a risk, there is also an opportunity.

Lara noticed the commotion outside the window of her room.all the residents looked terrified, they were arguing against each other to win their own safety and interests.

Mira as the village chief becomes the victim of a time of fear. Seeing that Lara opened the window and took out her head then spoke to everyone

‘’Mail you shut up’’ one of the people in the crowd yelling at Lara

‘’You who are silent!!, the wall and all here I pay for it. If, you don't like it, you can lift your foot off my wall worth thousands of gold this’’ Lara spoke in a loud tone

Lara's loud voice was clearly heard. Everyone is aware that what Lara said is the truth. But, who would be willing to leave the place they were in now where there was food, the village soldiers and adventurers were there to stand guard for them.

They were basically just a burden for Lara no more than that, reducing one person or all though would not make Lara lose in the slightest. Lara's reason for helping them was only because of her humanitarian and moral actions.

They need Lara to take cover with her wall, but Lara, doesn't need them to hold on. It was a fact that was happening now that could not be denied by everyone who was staring at him.

Now no one dared to look at Lara, they were all silent and when the window closed all felt relieved. They then stared at Mira to follow her instructions.

Right now, the flood of monsters had just finished fighting against the army of the Philotas kingdom on the Philotas highlands. But, there was not a single army left even to return to deliver the news of defeat to the kingdom. All the royal army was wiped out and the Dark Eyes kept on closing in on the royal capital of Philotas.

Lara noticed with the speed of the flood of monsters charging towards the kingdom and its surroundings, Lara reckoned the Dark Eyes would arrive at Duran within 4 days of game time after the Philotas kingdom was destroyed.

But it can also be faster, because there are types of dark-eyed monsters that can fly and there is also a possibility that a flood of monsters will split and attack in two directions simultaneously.

Lara was offline while she was running her routine of enjoying the morning with a small run in the residential complex area.

As he ran he saw various young women running in the morning along with the young men who seemed to be trying to tempt them. The girls wore tight clothes with their hips moving right and left like waving to every eye of the man who saw it from behind or front.

Today is a Sunday where it is a holiday for most people, especially workers and students, so it is natural for people to exercise a little to maintain their stamina. But, even though it looked ordinary to Lara it was something rare she had never even seen it when it was on land.

Lara wears a mask and covered clothes when running which makes people glance at her plus Lara has a towering stature and in addition her clothes that are wet with sweat show the shape of her muscles perfect makes the young women can't bear to glance at him

Lara ignored their gazes she just ran with an unchanging rhythm and continued to pass one of the women in other tight clothes. When Lara arrived on the pitch she was surprised to see so many people running and then she felt this was a very good thing and very rare to happen on land - never even after hundreds of years.

There are many men, women, young, old or small children who exercise together like Lara including women who wear tight pants before that he passed who now run after Lara.

‘’You ran wearing a mask, it was dangerous you had to let go to keep the oxygen circulation in your body’’ the woman spoke with gasps and she wrongly suspected that the mask Lara was wearing was an ordinary mask

‘’This mask has an air filter, air circulation can be adjusted to the heart rate of the user. The filtered air is almost 100% oxygen. Thanks for your attention. But, I'm fine..’’ Lara said explaining about the mask she was wearing.

The mask Lara was wearing now was the mask that was in a special costume for Lara personally to keep her appearance as an official in the elder in the past.

‘’So it's a special mask. Sorry, I thought you were wearing a regular mask while running’’ the woman was relieved

‘’No problem, I just lack confidence with my appearance’’ said Lara casually

‘’Haha. You could have been. oh yes, I'm Rin.. Rin Kazama’’ the woman introduced her name, Lara looked at the woman's hand for a while and then immediately greeted her hand and spoke.
