Episode 10 The Promise of the Little Finger

Lara stopped in front of a door and then knocked on it slowly three times which immediately came the sound of people answering from inside. From her voice Lara could guess that it was just a child.

Lara knocked again and then the little boy shouted telling Lara to wait by calling her an older sister. When the door opened there was a little girl peeking and looking at Lara.

He is shocked and frightened to think that Lara is a monster. A moment later she realized who was on Lara's shoulder and it was her sister.The girl opened the door and shouted at Lara.

‘’Monster.. Release my brother or I'll hit you with a broom’’ the little boy threatened.

‘’haha... Before you threaten this monster you should first hold the weapon you mean’’ Lara looked at the child with a strange look.

‘’ah.. I'm stupid.. don't move I'll go back’’ little boy turned intending to take a broom.

‘’wait.. If you move I will eat your sister’’ Lara threatened with a made-up voice to sound like a real monster.

‘’ahhhh.. no. No, I beg you monster lord release my brother you can take me, I'm still my little meat is sweet to eat while brother is old, you can take me, skinny and the meat is bitter’’ said the boy made an offer.

‘’no.. You are still a child, your meat is a little I will not be full with just your meat’’ Lara said as she tilted her head towards the unconscious woman and opened her mouth to start eating her. When he saw that the girl immediately shouted.

‘’Don't.. I have a lot of chocolate candy downstairs in my bed that I hide. It tastes better and sweeter than big brother's meat. You can take everything but please let go of my brother’’ the little boy begged by slapping his hands a little while begging.

‘’Emmm… this monster is a bit tempted but if the boy has another offer as an addition maybe this monster will be lured’’ Lara like to think and like the girl and she can know how her parents take care of her. Lara knows the boy sees Lara like a monster in the story books and movies she watches.

In this era children usually hold a mobile phone in their hands and act like adults to find a boy like a girl is very rare now. In her heart Lara loved the way her parents educated the child.

Lara looks at the surrounding room and then two photos near the live TV with an old cartoon movie. Looking at the photo Lara understood it was a picture of her parents but seeing that there was a overtaking necklace that surrounded her Lara understood her point and then looked at the little boy back to listen to him speak.

‘’You can take all my Vanilla-flavored Ice Cream ‘’ Lara has seen the Ice Cream box on the front desk of the TV from its shape and the smell of Lara tau it is chocolate-flavored Ice Cream.

Lara also understood that it seemed like she really liked the Chocolate-flavored Ice Cream and sacrificed her Vanilla-flavored Ice Cream to redeem her brother. A moment knowing that Lara laughed in her heart and then spoke.

‘’Monster is not like Vanilla he likes Chocolate’’ Lara tries to tease him a little.

‘’Nakkkk don't Ice Cream Chocolatesku’’ the girl did not accept her favorite Ice Cream in eating by Lara.

‘’You don't want a kid?… well this monster will eat your sister now’’ Lara is preparing to bite the fainted woman on her shoulder.

‘’jangannnnnnnn!!!! good Ice Cream chocolate but only one’’ he screamed in response to Lara's will .

The girl ran over in a hurry she carried with her empty fruit bouquet on the table and entered a room that Lara believed was a room.

Lara could hear her prickling inside the room, as if she had hidden the candy deep enough to avoid being caught by her brother. Not long after that the boy came out with a mountain of chocolate candy in a previously empty fruit bouquet heading to the kitchen to pick up the Chocolate Ice Cream that was in the refrigerator.

After coming out of the kitchen the boy with both hands held a bouquet of fruit containing a large-size Box of Ice Cream and a mountain of chocolate candy underneath. He seemed to have trouble carrying a bouquet and was a little breathless in the process.

Lara saw how the girl pushed the bouquet of fruit with a broom to get closer to Lara. Seeing that Lara smiled and then put the woman on her shoulder close to the girl then turned to pick up a bouquet of fruit filled with candy and Ice Cream.

The daughter tried to pull her brother's body further with all her might but let alone pull her brother a bouquet that should be much lighter he had so much trouble carrying it and the result was clear he could not moving her brother's body even a little from his position. Lara admires the boy's efforts and also loves his innocent and clean nature.

‘’What a boy wants help this monster’’ Lara said to the girl.

‘’No I don't trust monster’’ said the boy as he continued to pull and scream waking up his brother.

‘’what if the promise of the little finger?‘’ bargain with Lara by holding out her little finger to test the girl if she knows about it.

Seeing that reaction the boy looked a little doubtful Lara realized she knew the meaning of the pinky finger promise. Seeing her brother still unconscious she stretched out her little finger with a slight feeling of fear and nervousness.

The pinky finger agreement was very popular in the past for children and seeing the girl extend her little finger Lara did not hesitate to grab her pinky.

Next, Lara's little finger with the girl crossed each other and then swung three times up and down the last to remove it simultaneously.

‘’Now the boy has befriended this monster master, so the monster master will help the boy while he is in trouble’’ Lara said with a smile.

‘’really?’’ the girl looked smiling from the tip of the cheek to the other cheek. He looked like he had found a great treasure that he had never found in his life.

‘’True but every boy wants help he has to give the monster master Ice Cream and the candy that the monster master wants.. the promise of the little finger’’ Lara reached out her little finger again and without hesitation the girl stretched out her little finger.

Then after the promise of the second little finger was made, the daughter let Lara lift her sister to the room. Lara checked the woman again.

After making sure there were no life-threatening injuries Lara came out and sat in a TV viewing chair with the girl who now seemed no longer afraid of her. While watching TV Lara scraped all the information about her, from there Lara learned that the girl had lost her parents since infancy and during this time her brother who had become a father and mother for her.

The girl's name is Sasha while the woman he saved is Misha. Lara watches and hears Sasha's story about her life with her brother while eating the Chocolate Ice Cream that she managed to rob from Sasha before.

It was late at night when Lara called her mother and told her she was with an old friend and was likely to come home tomorrow.
