CHAPTER 56. FACED A SUDDEN ATTACK

Arkan who was given the job by Damar to keep Richard feeling very happy, when he saw the progress of Richard's health.

Richard was recovering, though he still had to sit in a wheelchair and the Doctor had moved Richard to the usual treatment room.

Right now Richard called Arkan, he was curious about the development of his adopted son.

"And how's your boss doing? Is there any progress with marriage and business?" ask Richard.

"I think, this time Boss Damar was happy, it was seen from his last laugh when he called me yesterday. Nayla is a good girl, so you don't have to worry about that. Nayla must have been able to make Boss Damar forget his bad past and dispel his hatred for a woman."

"Regarding our business, sir, is now widened to other sectors. But Damar's boss started to shift business to the legal one, though not all of it."

"Good! It is not in vain that I entrust everything to him. I want to go home as soon as you can, please take care of it!"

"But Master, you haven't been too healthy, are you going to be strong on the way? And of course we have to ask the doctor's permission sir!" arkan.

"I'm tired of sleeping here! Mending me at home, being able to see and play with your boss' pet."

Both of them rushed to execute orders and they were ready to stand by with weapons in hand.

Arkan sees a doctor in his room, he expresses purpose as Richard asks. The doctor asked to continue therapy so Richard could learn to stand. But because Richard was urgent, finally the doctor gave permission to go home and suggested to continue treatment in the country.

After getting permission, Arkan rushes back to Richard's ward and tomorrow they can be discharged from the hospital after the last checkup.

Richard was happy, finally he could be free and be reunited with his son.

So excited, Richard was unconscious, he was a standing reflex.

Arkan who saw it was flabbergasted and he immediately ran out to call the doctor, whereas there was an emergency button that Arkan could use to call the medical team.

The doctor came, did an examination and congratulated him on his unexpected progress.

Then the doctor gave instructions, what should Richard do in the country so that he could recover, but all of course it takes time and not instant, especially for patients the age of Richard.

Tonight Richard slept well, he had imagined his happiness coming home and despite the confines of the hospital rules, even though the risk was that Damar would be angry.

Arkan had already prepared for their return, he did not want to risk anything bad on the way, so Arkan paid a nurse to accompany Richard.

This time, they did not use private planes, due to Richard's ban. Richard didn't want Damar to know, any earlier about his return.

Arkan was forced to obey Richard's will even though he was actually afraid that his boss would be angry.

It turns out that their return was smelled by Rendra's bodyguard who had been assigned to watch over Richard during his time in the hospital.

Rendra felt threatened if Richard returned and recovered. According to Rendra, Damar's power will increase with Richard's return.

Richard's influence in the mafia world is still calculated by his business opponents even though he is only sitting in a wheelchair.

When his bodyguards reported that Richard had not returned home on a private plane, Rendra asked the bodyguards to sabotage the flight.

But he had earlier ordered his guards to block their cars before they reached the airport.

The car that Arkan and Richard were driving was speeding, they wanted to get to the airport as soon as possible.

But, Arkan did not expect that three opposing cars squeezed their way and two trail bikes crucified in front.

Richard was furious, why would anyone mean to make him wretched, when as much as possible they kept the return secret this time.

Arkan tried to be vigilant, he asked two of his bodyguards to distract the enemy, while he himself would face two bikers who blocked the speed of their car.

Richard himself asks Arkan to give his weapon, he will return to fight the enemy after several years of vacuum because of the condition of his disease.

Richard and Arkan were ready with guns in their hands, while the driver remained poised with his stiur.

"Arkan! you poke with the biker on the right and I'll finish off the one on the left!" Richard's orders.

"Okay Sir!"

"I'll prove that even if I'm still paralyzed, they'll regret waking up a sleeping lion" Richard said with a cold face.

Richard plays the weapon in his hand skillfully, the shot is on target, one biker is sprawled by a bullet that slid right into his chest. Arkan has not been able to take down his target.

Richard's attention now focused on the enemy car that began to squeeze the left side of their car and another one hit from behind, it made Richard grind his teeth, he could not wait to get rid of his opponents.

If only his condition was normal like before, maybe now his enemy was not struggling.

One Arkan escort car was overturned by the enemy and Arkan did not know how the fate of his guards was now.

Now they're in a pinch, but Richard won't give up. He thinks it's better he dies than to turn himself in.

Arkan had tried, but still he had not managed to cripple the enemy.

Suddenly Richard yelled ordering the driver to stop the car, he had to do something beyond the enemy's expectations.

The car stopped immediately and two enemy vehicles were in front of them.

Richard despite the fatigue down and immediately shot at the tires of his enemies' cars smartly until the two cars were smashed because their tires broke.

Shooting ensued, but Richard was able to overcome the situation and quickly got back into the car and asked the driver to get their car into the enemy car.

Richard was merciless, with Arkan's help, they finally managed to make the two cars explode.
