THE DUDA MAFIA'S MERCENARY
CHAPTER 2. GET A JOB

"Day! looking who?" ask Lila who saw Nayla wailing.

Lila was one of Nayla's best friends when trading in the market. Lila's parents were fruit traders there, so every holiday, Lila always helped her mother.

"Hey Lil, have you seen Dewo?" ask Nayla.

"Yes Nay, wait a minute, Dewo is being told by my mother, delivering an orange order to the restaurant opposite the market entrance" said Lila.

Then Lila asked, "So, what is your current job Nay?"

"Lil's unemployment, so I want to go with Dewo to be an interstellar porters or pelvic porters so, the important thing is that I get money to meet our needs" replied Nayla.

"Are you willing? the job is hard, especially for a girl like you" said Lila.

"I tried Lil first, instead of me being unemployed, there's no way, I'm begging, it's more embarrassing. While looking for a jumping stone to work another."

"Yes Deh, I can't help you either, Nay, sold by a lonely mother. Just be grateful for the present condition, almost everyone complains. Life is getting harder, somehow our future will be."

"The only way to find a rich man's husband" said Nayla, while laughing to remove the fatigue of heart and mind.

Lila also laughed, then replied, "If you might be able to get a rich man, your face, your posture and your intelligence are supportive, well me! no way they want, I'm round short and also pug, plus a mediocre brain, complete my shortcomings," said Lila.

"Had it been, we don't imagine being too high, if we get sick. I go first yes, I will follow Dewo, today I have to work Lil, otherwise my sister will starve" Nayla said as she stepped up and waved her hand.

"Your love Nay, circumstances have made you have to abandon your ideals in order to survive" Lila's monologue took a deep breath.

If the sale of her mother is smooth, maybe Lila can ask the mother to help Nayla, to work in their place, but her mother's sales later also quiet, especially since the government imposed PPKM.

Nayla rushed towards the place where Dewo was dropping off the order. It turned out that Dewo was dropping off another order, in a different place. Luckily Nayla saw Dewo, then she called him.

"Wo, wait!" exciting Nayla.

"Hai Nay," said Dewo as he lowered the item he was carrying.

Then Dewo asked, "Where are you going?"

"Wo, please get me a job! being a hip porters like you I want to, which is important today I can get money to buy food" said Nayla embarrassed.

"I beg Wo, at least I can buy something for my sister. I can't go back and bring nothing" Nayla said.

"All right, come with me! Hopefully, after delivering this item, we will get another job," said Dewo.

It turned out that Dewo had said right, yet he had completed his task, a merchant had called him. And Dewo immediately stopped and met, the mother who called him.

"Yes ma'am, how can I help you?" ask Dewo.

"Wo, please deliver this cake yes, to the right row shop at the end there. The shop sells prayer equipment. But soon, Wo, because the cake will be taken away by the store owner and this is for your wages!" said the owner who offered the cake and sheet money of five thousand rupiah.

"Okay, ma'am, oh ya ma'am, introduce this is my friend and he's gonna help me deliver the cake, how's Mom, would you like it?" ask Dewo politely.

"Oh yes, it's okay Wo, the important mandate of the mother until well to the buyer."

"Thank you, ma'am" said Nayla.

The baker gave Nayla her cake and her money, saying, "Be careful with her Deck!"

Yes ma'am, I'll be careful. Once again thank you ma'am," said Nayla while upholding the money of five thousand gifts mother.

Then Nayla thanked him for the first sustenance he got.

With the pleasure of Nayla rushing to do her duty, Dewo smiled to see Nayla doing her work sincerely and earnestly. Fortunately, his first task was not difficult, as Dewo used to do.

The first task is done Nayla, then the sustenance comes again when she was about to leave the cloth store, the boss of the cloth store asked for help, and the owner of the cloth store asked for help, in order for Nayla to deliver a roll of cloth to the store in the row of shops not far from the place.

With pleasure, Nayla accepted the task, again Nayla get a wage according to the light weight of the task that the bosses gave. Nayla also received a wage of ten thousand rupiah for the second task.

At least now Nayla can buy a pack of ramas rice for her sister.

Nayla is willing to do any job including as a pelvic porters in the market, as long as the sister can eat and seek treatment.

The harshness of the life Nayla lives, now makes her bolder, stronger in the face of anything, even if she has to fight market thugs who try to interfere with her work.
