The Destiny of the Ugly Girl

The Destiny of the Ugly Girl
Part 2's. Come Work

"Why don't I just die like this, hiks ... hiks. I'm just taking Mommy with you." All day long to spend time crying and lamenting fate.

"Patient miss, son, uncle and aunt will try to find and collect money to be able to finance your facial plastic surgery. This is for a while, someday your pretty face will definitely come back." Dahlan tried to persuade Miss to stop crying even though she was in her heart feeling unsure of what she said.

"There is no other way to restore my face, with medicine or ointment perhaps?" asked Miss, the girl was still innocent.

Yani, the aunt shook her head. "Can't want the wound on your face to be bad. Actually the doctor suggested to immediately do plastic surgery but unfortunately uncle and aunt still have no cost. Forgive us, son."

Miss nodded then looked down. She was actually disappointed because it seemed like the hope of returning her beautiful face would never be achieved. Miss knows it will be very difficult for uncle and aunt to collect the cost of plastic surgery which is quite expensive. As for the cost of eating only Dahlan and Yani keteteran to meet his needs.

Dahlan is only a oddball worker who will work when someone needs his services, while the aunt is just a laundry worker in neighboring houses. Because this work is not able to meet all the needs of life, they are now starting to pioneer small businesses. They opened a grocery store in front of their house. But still the income from the store is still unreliable.

One day Dahlan's brother-Suseno- arrives. They invited the Yani and Dahlan families to join their families.

"Sir, I currently have several hundred thousand cut chickens and ducks spread in several cages. The plan in addition to selling in the state of life I want to also sell it in a state that has been cut into meat. Can Dek Dahlan join us?"

"Well, very good brother. What can I do?" Dahlan asked with a smiling sumringah to his wife.

"You can help in marketing."

"Well, when can I start working?"

"Tomorrow can be."

"How's Yan?" Dahlan asked his wife's opinion.

"Will work with brother Dahlan let me take care of the store."

Dahlan nodded steadily.

"Well, tomorrow morning I'll go to Suseno's house."

"Well then I'll wait at home."

...----------------...

The next day when Dahlan was about to leave for Suseno's house, Miss called him.

"Where's the uncle going?"

"You go to Uncle Suseno's house."

"May you miss coming?"

"Are you not in school today?"

"Uncle's holiday, it's Sunday."

"Oh yes uncle forgot," said the uncle while scratching his nape that does not itch.

"Yes, if you want to come, don't forget to say goodbye to your aunt!"

"Good Uncle." Miss ran into the house and called her aunt.

"Bik! Bik!" call him with a loud breath.

"What the hell is Rin kok kayak being chased by a thief," protested Yani.

"Hindu wants to go with uncle."

"Well, come along, but be careful."

"Surely Bik." I miss walking out of the house with big steps.

"How's it?"

"May the word aunt."

"Yes, let's go then."

They left for Suseno on foot. Until there it turns out there have been some people who clean chicken feathers that have been slaughtered.

Dahlan was apparently pulled into the house by Suseno while Miss seemed to blend in with the others, helping to pluck out chicken feathers. Incidentally Suseno chose not to use a poultry hair removal machine because he saw many neighbors who were unemployed especially his business was arguably still early.

"He's your nephew?" suseno asked Dahlan who was talking in a room. Although they live in one village but they rarely meet because of the busyness of each.

"Yes, I'm sorry that he was a child, his parents left behind. So we invited him to stay with us. Who knows by taking care of her Yani can get pregnant."

"You're right, there are some citizens here who don't have children. They adopted the child as a lure, uh eventually their wives actually got pregnant."

"Amen. What's your name anyway?"

"Sister miss."

"Oh Miss ya, looks like the kid was diligent." Suseno said while looking at Miss from behind the glass.

"Because she really likes Yani's help at home."

"What if he works here?"

"If it's mah, you just ask your son because he's still in school."

"It's okay, he can work after school. It is quite easy to get your own income. Let the pocket money not ask you."

"If for the pocket money I don't mind giving him. It's just like that, mediocre."

"Everything from that, who knows he wants to buy something that can not be fulfilled from the pocket money you give."

"If I'm up to him, brother."

"All right then I'll talk to him directly." Suseno came out and called Miss.

"His name misses here!"

Missed to clean her hands then walked over. "What's Uncle?" ask Miss with fear. He thought Suseno didn't like it because she played just joining the workers without saying goodbye first.

"How did you feel working?"

"Hmm, it seems fun Uncle," replied Miss honestly.

"Do you want to work here?"

"Work Uncle? What can?"

"May you want to."

"But .. but...," said Miss doubt.

"But why?"

"What do I have to do?"

"Yes like that, plucking chicken feathers and ducks."

"That's just uncle?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Great, I want uncle." Missing prancing in excitement made everyone turn to her while shaking their heads.

"Well, starting tomorrow, when you go home from school, you can come straight here to work."

"Good Uncle but let me ask uncle and aunt permission first. If they agree tomorrow after changing uniforms I'll come straight here."

"No problem, just talk to them first."

...----------------...

It was already afternoon, the red sky in the west there was about to turn dark. Miss and Dahlan went home. After cleaning themselves, they pray together and then have dinner together. It was at that moment that Miss conveyed her wish to Dahlan and Miss.

"If auntie doesn't mind as long as your school isn't interrupted."

"Uncle too, provided you are not forced to do so. If you have to do it better not to do it because your uncle and aunt are still able to provide food and are still able to finance your school."

"No, my uncle wasn't forced to, I was happy to work in that place."

"Well then uncle and aunt agree."

"Thank you Uncle, Auntie." Longing to hold the two makes Dahlan and Yani's eyes look teary. They feel as if they have a biological child with the presence of Miss in their home.

Thank goodness my uncle and aunt agreed. In this way I can collect money for the cost of facial surgery even if little by little. Isn't the saying 'Slightly by little over time become a hill.'

From behind the back of the two, Miss seemed to be smiling alone as she felt as if there was hope for her ugly face to return to its original appearance.

Seriate....

Don't forget to leave a trail!🙏
