CHAPTRE. 09 - SHIN FAMILY

At night, Shin Yixuan sat in her front yard. He was waiting for Luo Hein who had not come home since noon. He looked anxious because earlier, he saw that Luo Hein had killed His Imperial Majesty in the presence of everyone. He was afraid that Luo Hein would be chased by many people who wanted to kill him for his money and also his grudge.

”Yixuan? You still there? You don't want to go inside?” asked Shin Buyen who was standing in front of the entrance.

Shin Yixuan turned her head slightly towards Shin Buyen and replied, ”No. I'll wait for Dad here until he gets back. I'm afraid something bad is going to happen. Father had killed many innocent people while the other Demon Lords had never killed that many humans. I think, the sky must be very angry with him and will soon punish him.”

”You don't have to worry about it. Everything will be fine.” said Shin Buyen who decided to sit next to him while patting his head.

Shin Yixuan looked at him expressionlessly and asked, ”Why did Mom marry Dad? Did you not know that Dad was the Demon King who killed many humans?”

Shin Buyen felt surprised after hearing that. For a moment, he was deep in his own thoughts while still staring at Shin Yixuan. Shortly after, he then lowered his gaze and showed a faint smile.

”I don't know either. It happened so fast. I met your father when I was ten. Then, we separated for 12 years and I met again while I was killing my own family.”

10 Years ago, Shuyu region, Nanxin city.

Inside a spacious residence, there were hundreds of human corpses that died in different ways. However, most of them all get snake bite wounds that are very poisonous and some of them are eaten by giant snakes belonging to Shin Buyen.

At the time, he was 22 years old. The Shin Family was the strongest family in the Shuyu region and was also the one most feared by the world. People refer to them as the Monster family because most of them are able to control magic animals and make them their pets.

However, it was because of that power that there were many families that wanted to take them down. However, their abilities were not comparable, leaving them all killed, torn apart by the huge claws of the beasts.

One day, the Shin family plans to take control of the entire city in Shuyu territory. They will wage war and kill anyone who dares to stand in their way.

Shin Buyen was already quite tired of the murders that his own family had always committed. At least, he had to see the bodies inside his house every day and even they did not hesitate to kill each other if one of them did not agree to the decision of the leader.

What kind of family only follows one voice while the other has to be silent while the sword is in front of their neck?

At night, while everyone was asleep, Shin Buyen stood in the darkness with hundreds of snakes hiding in the ground. He does this secretly and without the knowledge of others.

The snakes that walked in the ground continued to creep into each of the rooms that were there. The highly poisonous snake bit their legs and poured poison into his body. Those who do not realize it will die slowly without feeling pain. The poison would paralyze their entire movement and make them mute. It was a very quiet death without anyone screaming in pain.

However, just as he had almost managed to kill everything, the people who were there instantly gathered into his room with swords drawn towards him.

They were furious that they had not expected Shin Buyen to betray them to this extent. Now, he could only wait for the death penalty to be sentenced for him. However, Shin Buyen refused to stop and would still kill his entire family.

”Kotor! You're all so dirty! Thank you for it is I who will cleanse this world of filth like you!”

”Traitors! We'll kill you soon!” yells a young man.

A huge eagle appeared from above the sky and instantly tore apart the body of the snake that was destroying most of its residence. Shin Buyen did not fully rely on all her magical beasts. He took out a dagger from behind his clothes and began to kill the people who were there.

Blood splashed everywhere even to the point of hitting his face. Just then, everyone moved together to attack towards him. However, suddenly their bodies crashed like being pushed by him whereas, at that time the sky was not windy.

Shin Buyen ran out and killed anyone who ran into him. But, as he did so, an arrow shot towards him and unexpectedly it went straight through his back and right shoulder.

His gaze immediately panned towards a young man hiding behind a door that was still closed. And just then, he threw a dagger at him until it pierced the head of the young man who had attacked him.

But. After he killed her, a sword pierced through her chest until blood poured out and soaked her clothes. Shin Buyen immediately sat down in place and tried to hold back the blood that kept coming out from inside his body.

”Basic traitor! Just look what we're gonna do to you!”

The moment the sword was about to move back towards him, a flash of shadow appeared and instantly shattered the sword that nearly killed him.

A tall young man and wearing a black robe instantly stood right in front of him. Everyone looked puzzled and they did not stop staring at the young man who had appeared all of a sudden. ”Who is this young man? How dare he call for reinforcements!”

Shin Buyen looked directly at the young man's back. His gaze looked very surprised because he felt that he had not called anyone to help him.

”Are they the ones who have been bothering you?” ask youth.

Shin Buyen fell silent and was confused by his question. Then, the young man said back, ”So, huh? Are you afraid to answer? In that case, I will kill them all for you.”

A second later, the young man disappeared then, there was a sound of fear and screams coming out from the mouths of everyone who was there. Such blood would flood the place and cover it with red meronanya.

The people who surrounded him died with their heads thrown away from their places. Seeing the situation that had already turned around, Shin Buyen immediately stood back up to see what was going on here. Both of his legs passed through so many corpses that were beneath him.

Shortly after, he finally met the young man who had previously killed his entire family until like this. He asked, ”Why do you want to kill them? You have a grudge on us?”

The young man looked at him and replied, ”Nothing. I'm just looking for someone here.”

Shin Buyen looked at him seriously and asked, ”After leaving, will you kill me too?”

The young man smiled a grin and walked over to him. ”Why should you do it? It is precisely you that I have been looking for all this time.”
