The Darkest Dream

The Darkest Dream
Journey

"Sophy? why do you look so agitated?" Mina watched the niece who was acting unusual. Since then, they have been visibly agitated and occasionally glanced at their young mistress. Mina feels bad if Sky finds out.

"Huh? yes aunt, I'm sorry. I'm just nervous about where Mr. Jeff will take us. Mrs Cloey is pregnant, a long trip wouldn't be good for her." Kilah Sofi looks convincing. Mina nodded her head, agreeing with what her niece said.

"Then be calm, don't keep glancing at Mrs Cloey. You're gonna cause a misunderstanding." Mina remembers her nephew.

"Good, aunt. I won't repeat it again" Sofi replied feeling guilty to the aunt.

Jeff was driving his car at a moderate pace, considering he was carrying a pregnant woman, he did not want to take any risks.

"Is your position comfortable like this, honey?" Sky stared pity at his wife who was seen lying uncomfortable, with the position of the legs that should always bend.

"I'm good dad, go to sleep, make yourself comfortable. I'm fine, my position is comfortable enough." Cloey calmed her husband.

"All right, I'll take a little nap. Wake me up if you want us to rest" Sky said, recalling his wife. Cloey just nodded slowly. Sky began to close his eyes, indeed the man was on the verge of immeasurable drowsiness. Since last night he held back sleepiness so he could continue to watch over his wife and children.

"How did they get away with Jeff's men? and Jeff, where's that useless guy. He might disappear while he's in need like this." Samara was so angry and upset. When he finds the report of his man, if Sky and his family have disappeared somewhere.

Not to mention, Jeff's men were found dead in his son's house. And Jeff disappeared and I don't know where he is now.

"Calm Samara, don't be too hard on them. Remember, we need them to find Sky and Ashley." Said Edgar calming, seeing the bad temper of his wife, Edgar did not want one more life floated in front of him because of the wife's emotional attitude.

"And you, take him. Bury it properly, consider it a warning to all of you. Work properly, if you still love your life." Edgar stared at the departure of Jeff's men who were carrying the corpse of their friend. His wife if she is angry, then the lives of others, will be considered trash by her.

The man rubbed his face rough, his thoughts raging. Her daughter was somewhere, while Aslan's family had been bankrupted by his wife. The mother of his daughter's lover was even still in a coma due to the actions of his wife. Which parents are not shocked to see their daughter being told*sa like a star. Mala had a heart attack seeing her daughter's terrible condition in the ICU Hospital.

Fortunately, the girl had a strong physique, after being raped by several people and dumped on the side of the road. But still able to survive until found by someone.

His wife is cruel, isn't she? Edgar looks frustrated with his life now.

"I just want Sky found, take Sky to the cabin, and do what we used to do. This time I, surely right, Sky will not remember anything for ever." Samara's word is so cruel. Some of Jeff's men who were still there just nodded at the inhumane orders. What else they want, because their lives are at stake.

Edgar held tightness in his chest, his relationship with Ashley was indeed not so close. But he loved his daughter very much.

"Can you not say anything bad to your daughter, Samara? after all, your blood runs through every vein of Ashley's. Pay attention to every word you say, because your regrets will later feel like meaningless garbage." Edgar said remembering that, as hard as possible, the man refrained from being ignited by the egoism of the wife.

"I'll never regret it, Ed. You forget, I never wanted her? so even his life and death, I don't care." Finished with his cruel sentence, Samara grabbed his bag and walked away from Edgar who was still sculpting.

"You'll regret it very much someday, Samara. Let's see, when it comes, you won't get your kids' love and attention again. Even if it's just mercy." Edgar's murmuring gritted his teeth holding in anger. His hands were clenched perfectly, unfortunately he could not hurt the woman. Not for now.

"Babies? don't do it again, what if our son's why." Aslan's heart almost stopped beating, when he saw Ashley descend from the top of a mango tree and jump from a height of almost 3 meters. Not her height or low, but the young woman was 3 months pregnant.

"I'm fine, look. My son is as strong as his mother" Ashley replied proudly, her hands busy peeling mangoes in the sink.

"My son too, baby" Aslan said resentfully. "Don't do that again, okay. If you want any fruit, tell me. Make your husband useful" Aslan recalled in a slightly irritated tone. The woman he married two months ago has always done everything herself. Never once did Ashley whine at him, did she feel like a useless husband.

"Well, can you shut up now. Get me a bowl, put mayonnaise in it. I want to eat this mango with it, it must be delicious." Ashley said without turning her head, her saliva was almost dripping imagining eating the mango with mayonaise sauce.

"Good, baby. What else, you want me to make you some mango juice?" ask Aslan enthusiastically. Then take whatever Ashley wants.

"Can, did the mangoes of yesterday still exist?" yesterday after work, Aslan was given some mangoes by his coworkers. Of course she accepted it with great pleasure, Ashley has loved the fruit since she became pregnant. Almost every day since their neighbor's mango tree is bearing fruit, Ashley keeps a close eye on it from the kitchen window.

"There are still 3 fruits, I deliberately did not eat them, I know you really like them." Ashley seemed to be thrilled to hear it.

"Well make mango juice, you too, make it if you want. We're not that poor that we have to skimp in such a way." Ashley said while cutting her young mango fruit on the cutting edge.

"You're right, but we can't live too conspicuously here. It won't fit into our simple lives." Aslan remembered. He only worked as a laborer in a bottled beverage factory in the small town. It could be that he does not work, considering the money they bring is not a little. 10 years of unemployment will not run out. But Aslan wants to be the husband and father who is responsible for his son and wife. For that he applied for jobs in several stores and ended up being accepted at the brewery.

"So, can I take your mango, baby?" ask Aslan to make sure.

"Hmm, fetch. My juice don't add milk, I don't like sweet." Ashley said, considering that, since she was pregnant, she really liked something that tasted salty and sour. As a result, every time they cook, their food will be dominated by saltiness. Aslan never protested, for him, as long as Ashley ate his drink enough, he did not matter with the taste of anything cooked by his wife.

"Ready, baby." Aslan began peeling off the two mangoes he had just come out of their small refrigerator. Simple life has made them independent, everything they do alone. Occasionally Aslan calls people to help the wife, because she does not want her wife to be exhausted if she has to wash clothes and clean the house even though it is not big. There were only two rooms, Aslan bought the house when they had just arrived there. Initially wanted to find a cheap apartment, but someone said if the house in the housing was sold. So Aslan immediately bought it without a second thought, it would be better if they lived in a residential area. Ashley can socialize with their neighbors, and she won't be anxious if she has to work late.
