#40 Traps Created By Tatsuya

After learning that he was trapped by Tatsuya, Steven immediately accepted the advice given by his vice chairman and went straight to the south. But in every narrow alley, there were always some spirit troops guarding it. But this is not an obstacle for Steven, because his strength is greater than theirs.
"How dare a creature until like you get in my way, feel this!" shouts Steven while drawing out his sword blade at the spirit.
"Slassshh"
With just one slash, Steven managed to defeat the spirits and make them change into forms like water splashing everywhere. He thought that his attacks were excessive and should only use half of his strength.
But a few seconds after Steven slashed them, the liquid fused and its form returned to its original form. Seeing this he was quite surprised, then slashed it back many times and the results remained the same.
"Based on the damn creatures, they didn't die even though I've slashed them a few times. Looks like I'll have to kill that damn kid first, and then they can all die." Steven muttered by slashing him back, then leaving behind the spirit he was fighting.
On his journey, Steven tries to contact Tommy and Kazima and inform them that the enemy they are fighting is just bait to squeeze out his mana and stamina.
On the other hand, in the east...
The same situation was also experienced by Kazima and all his subordinates, moreover a spirit named Ghon joined the fight. He had absolutely no subordinates as his duty was to serve the 10 generals of the lord of darkness.

"What's up Steven? Isn't our plan to keep barging in and finding the boy?" kazima asked with a communication device that kept on sticking to his ear.
"Well, you were contacted by him too?" asked Tommy in surprise.
"Shut up and listen! The three of us have already gotten into his trap." Steven replied briefly, as he continued to evade the several spirit troops that were trying to stop him.
Instantly, Kazima and Tommy were shocked after hearing those words. Then they both ask Steven for an explanation about the trap Tatsuya set.
Briefly, Steven tells them that they will not be able to kill the spirit, despite repeatedly attacking him as he experienced it. Only one thing can defeat them, by killing Tatsuya.
Hearing these words, Kazima was shocked that his daughter's childhood best friend had to be killed. It was very hard for him to do so, and to think that killing him for no apparent reason was not a good thing.
"Finely, we should not be rash and have to wait for the next order from the academy's higher-ups." asked Kazima by waiting for an order from Mozark.
"When to wait? The mistake is clear that the boy has done what is forbidden in this country" Tommy replied.
"Your reason is to say that, that boy must be very close to your daughter. It's up to you to do it, because now I'm heading south to help Leonard face to face with the damn boy" Steven replied briefly, then he turned off his communications equipment.
"Wait.." asked Kazima, but Steven had closed the communication device, as well as Tommy.
For a moment, Kazima was at a loss as to what to do with Tatsuya. However, he immediately put the matter aside because he had to look at the situation that was happening to his subordinates.
"Now the situation is getting worse, but no one is dead" replied the Vice-chairman with his head lowered.
"Just get to the point!" kazima Pinta.
"Yes, chief, everyone did not die just because their arms or legs were cut off from the attack from the spirit army" replied the vice-chairman by explaining everything.
Hearing such an explanation, Kazima began to think about the actions the spirit was doing. In his mind, the spirit army could easily kill his subordinates, but they did not do so and instead decided on one part of their body.
"Ahhhhh... If I keep thinking, how can I get the answer if I don't ask him." Kazima murmured in his heart.
Then Kazima gave a retreat order to all his subordinates, as it could inflict a huge loss to his guild. He also told them to bring the injured first in order to get treatment as soon as possible.
"Based on you selfless humans, how could I possibly let you go just like that after challenging my master!" chanted Ghon while showing his full strength, so that his size changed to be larger than before.
By this time Ghon was already preparing to show his strength, with the intention of destroying anything that was within a range of 100 meters. However, the other three spirits prevented him from doing so, so as not to be severely punished by Tatsuya.
"Enough to get here Ghon!" sylfi Pinta.
"If you do, we may all be punished for destroying human habitation" Lilia continued.
"Arrghhh... Are you starting to side with that weak human now, huh?" ghon asked in annoyance, looking at Sylfi and Lilia who were in front of him.
"Relax Ghon, they are weaker than us, and do you still remember the duty you gave us not to hurt the leader!? If you still wish to do this, it is certain that you defy orders from our master!" rein replied with a sharp glare of eyes.
"Grrrr"
Ghon was furious, but because Tatsuya's orders were absolute, he immediately shrunk and took the same shape as the other spirits.
"For now, I can still hold back! But next time, I will make sure you perish in one hit! Let's get it human!" ghon shouted threateningly.
The words of Ghon, of course, were heard by everyone including Kazima who was still in the place with a considerable distance. Now her curiosity has been very large, and she wants to quickly meet with Tatsuya to find the truth for his actions.
"I leave the rest to you vice-chairman!" kazima said suddenly by giving the authority to rule over his subordinates.
"You mean?" ask the vice chairman because he still doesn't understand.
"I'll go to the south to meet him and ask him about his destination for what he's done" Kazima replied by getting ready to leave.
"But the chairman." said the vice chairman, but his words stopped because Kazima had already left.
On his way, Kazima keeps thinking about what purpose Tatsuya is doing. Moreover, all spirits did not attack and take them off just like that when all of his subordinates retreated.
"I admit, it turns out you're not as bad as what they say Tatsuya." Kazima muttered in his heart with a smile.
