I'M PARTING

Neo manages to keep his car, but his wallet and cell phone are taken away by the thugs. His body crumbled, he had been wrong against 3 thugs alone. Now he lay on the sidewalk looking up at the night sky and smiling.

He returned to his apartment, not too big but enough to accommodate himself. He always set aside his money for the purposes of the orphanage, until now. He knows what it's like to live in a parlor and lack it.

Patience, was the word he always got from the head of the parlour back then. They always stick around every day, every week, and every month, hoping in donors. If there are no donors, then they will stick with what is.

After cleansing his body and treating his wounds, Neo lay on the bed. He closed his eyes and hoped to fall asleep soon. His body was tired, and so was his soul.

"How, Kee?" ask Alexa.

"I got it, Miss. The error was in the report 2 months ago," Keekan replied.

"You've always been reliable, Kee."

"Thank you, Miss. But I learned everything from you" Keekan said, commenting on a smile.

"Sister, Keekan has found it. Come here" Alexa told Neo, who was also in the room.

The bruise on Neo's face is still visible even though he has treated it and it is already 2 days from that night. Keekan looked a little but with a flat look.

"Alright, I'll finish it then" Neo said, taking the report given by Alexa. He left the room without much talking.

Yesterday, Neo again tried to talk to Keekan. Start when they are new, have lunch, come home, or even when they are resting. But not once Neo can get sorry, because it is very difficult to talk to Keekan.

"Can we talk? Just for a second," Neo asked when Alexa was gone because Michael picked her up.

Keekan sighed. He had often avoided Nei and he felt that if he just kept dodging, then Neo would continue to follow him. In the end he gave Neo a chance to talk.

"5 minutes, no more" Keekan said.

Hesitation closed his eyes and sighed softly, "I will forgive you on one condition."

"Tell me. I'd do anything" Neo said.

Neo stared at Keekan intensely. He saw that the woman in front of him was very real when he said it.

"Alright if that's what you want. I promise I won't show up in front of you again. Thank you for the apologies you gave me."

Neo turned his body and left Keekan. He returned to his room to finish his work. Keekan could only see Neo's back that had drifted away.

Inside his study, Neo could breathe a little relief. At least Keekan was willing to forgive him. He also focused on his work. By nightfall, he had not left his room. He wants to finish his report immediately.

The next morning, Neo, who did not come home, entered the Alexa room. He put down the report he had completed.

"You're not coming home?" alexa asked when she saw Neo's clothes were still the same as yesterday and his face was tired.

"Yes, I want to finish this report immediately. And I want to hand this over, "Neo gave Alexa an envelope.

"What's this?" ask Alexa again.

"My letter of resignation."

"What does that mean? Is there something?"

"No. I have to go take care of something and I think it will take a long time. I'm sorry if this seems sudden, but I can't put it off anymore" Neo replied.

"Then, who will replace you? Dad Stanley believes in you."

"There's still Sabrina and you have a lot of people to trust. I can't take long, I have to leave immediately" Neo said.

"alright. I actually want you to be able to guide the new person who will replace you, but if you're in a hurry, I can't help you."

"Thank you, Al. Please respect and say hello to Mr. Stanley and Mr. Michael. Excuse me," Neo turned his body around and walked out of Alexa's room.

To not be near Keekan and not appear again in front of him, of course all he needs to do is to be far away. He has promised to grant whatever Keekan's request.

Keekan always comes a little afternoon because he has to go to the Williams Company first, only after that he will go to the Thomas Company to help Alexa.

Neo drives his vehicle to his apartment. Today he will hand over his apartment to a property agent for rent, as he plans to leave the city.

Neo got back in the car and drove it out of town.
