TCQ 3: Breaking the Pool

Xiang Wan found her master jumping up and down in the snow happily. Xiang Wan panicked, then ran quickly while carrying a thick hairy robe.

Xiang Wan immediately enveloped Li Fengran's body with the robe, she was afraid that her master would fall back down.

“Nona, you just woke up! Why are you jumping around like a rabbit? Did you see anything good?” xiang Wan asked.

Li Fengran did not respond to his servant's question. He remained busy jumping around, until the snowy area around him was filled with his footprints. Li Fengran looked at the dark sky, smiling cheerfully. There was absolutely no sign that he had just escaped death a few hours ago.

In the past, Li Fengran had once surfed in the snow when he spent his new year in Europe. At that moment, snow fell. Since childhood, he had the privilege, Li Fengran had always been resistant to cold temperatures.

That's why, he felt fine in this place. Perhaps, his speciality also gave him to this fairy tale world.

“Xiang Wan, come back! I want to take a walk for a while!”

Not only that, the palace was also blocked by a vast park covered in snow. There was only a small, rocky road by his side with lanterns, to indicate that this was a road to a palace, so that those who passed by did not get lost.

Li Fengran snorted small. Li Fengran then walked back until he arrived at another garden that had a fish pond. The pool was frozen, just like the pool he saw in the Home Alone movies that always aired when Christmas holidays arrived.

Li Fengran then ran away from the broken frozen pond while occasionally looking back. The cracks of the pond widened in all directions, then the ice above it broke. Water splashed from inside the pool.

Damn, thought. The bodyguards must be chasing him right now. Li Fengran then hid behind the bushes some distance away from the pond, observing until the situation was completely safe.

Justright. Not long after, a group of royal guards in full uniform and carrying spears came across the pond. The expressions of the guards looked extremely shocked. The guards searched here and there, but found no one.

Without waiting for an answer from the man, Li Fengran passed by him. He was in such a hurry for fear of being discovered. It was obvious that his face was so tense.

Meeting the head guard was indeed his misfortune. He had to avoid it as quickly as he could.
