TCQ 2: Messenger Girl

After the strangers left, a servant girl named Xiang Wan came carrying a basin of warm water. He was the servant who had been crying lamenting the fate of Li Fengran.

Seeing that his master was already conscious, Xiang Wan immediately approached him and asked him how he was doing. His puffy eyes made Li Fengran a little pitying.

“I'm fine. Don't cry anymore.”

Li Fengran thought about the situation. The Queen Choice? Li Fengran recalled clearly that it was the latest comic title he had read a few minutes before the accident.

The story revolves around a queen in a land named Donghao who is sickly, then holds a competition to choose a new queen candidate who will replace her when she dies later. This one queen looks weak, but is actually a deep thinker.

In that country, everyone relied on talent and ability to survive. The one who has strong power will win against the weak power.

It is said that the Queen is a noble with an extraordinary family background. She became queen at the age of 18, rising when King Donghao was two years old.

The queen is a true beauty in Donghao. He was joined by the king who was the dream man of girls, who was talented in government and understood the art of war, with martial arts high until they were dubbed as the perfect couple.

However, who knows if the perfect couple is actually nothing more than a skit. Since getting married, King Donghao and his queen have never really been together.

The king deliberately stayed away from him, and the Queen stayed in her own palace more than doing other activities around Donghao Palace. It all caused his position in the palace to be less powerful.

His position in the palace was increasingly threatened when his body slowly weakened and often sickly. Realizing the situation was not good for her, the Queen then sent a plea to the King to choose a new queen candidate through competition, who would later replace her.

The king agreed on the condition that he would not interfere in the electoral process.  The Queen also asked the King not to have a concubine or replace her before the newly appointed queen or she died.

Election competitions were then held massively. The noble ladies are selected through a talent fight. The queen eliminated many women and made them like caged birds, as any woman who failed in the competition would be returned to their respective territories by decree was not to be married.

Li Fengran did not have time to read the continuation because the car accident had suddenly struck him. All right, let's just say he's lost to another world.

It was only fitting that he felt strange because he suddenly woke up in a foreign place with a colossal costume and an unusual situation. It turns out that it wasn't the filming of the drama and she wasn't kidnapped by the director, but she was in the prologue part of the story that brought her to realize her current reality.

Xiang Wan nodded.

In a place a little far from Changsun Palace, precisely in a small garden outside the palace, Li Fengran stood in the middle of a snow-covered expanse without a winter coat.

He stood there for ten minutes. Li Fengran started to feel his legs freeze. This was the first time he had been in the open without any warm clothes.

Gazing at the extremely dark sky that was lowering the snowflakes, Li Fengran calculated his own time. Surprisingly, even though his legs felt frozen, his body temperature actually felt warm so he did not shiver in the cold.

Li Fengran did not realize that someone was watching him from within the darkness. He jumped on the snow, creating many footprints there.

As Li Fengran was jumping around in excitement, he was startled by the sound of someone shouting from the direction of Changsun Palace.
