Well received

In the afternoon, Riko was escorted by Danu to his farm in the plantation area. Mr. Danu did set up a chicken farm in an area far from the settlement, for fear of disturbing the peace of the surrounding residents.

Near the farm, Mr. Danu made a small house inhabited by three workers.

Mr. Danu has 5 workers, only 2 of them are local residents, so they will go home if it is late afternoon, while the three workers who live in the small house are regional people.

Riko was well received there. Because Riko was a child and still had to go to school, she only got the task to clean the chicken coops every morning and evening.

#7 years later#

Because of the earnestness and persistence and support from the people nearby, now Riko has graduated high school. Mr. Danu offers Riko for college, only Riko feels bad if he has to always trouble Mr. Danu. He is nobody Riko, but so caring and affectionate to him.

Mr. Danu is indeed a friendly and generous person, he is good not only to Riko, but to all his workers. Mr. Danu treated them all fairly. There is no sense of social jealousy. And his farm business so far can run smoothly without obstacles.

Riko realized, he should not continue to bother Mr. Danu, he has graduated from High School, he has grown up. Riko felt it was time now he returned all the kindness given by Mr. Danu.

With a high school diploma, Riko works in a cafe. He deliberately took the night shif, because during the day he would busily himself on the farm.

Actually Mr. Danu released Riko, if you want to stop working in farming, Mr. Danu will not prohibit, because Riko has the right to make his choice.

Likewise for college, Mr. Danu is even willing to finance his lecture. Even if you do not want to be free, you can get paid in installments when you graduate and get a job.

Whether true or false, there is a saying that Good people will be quickly called God. Like Mr. Danu and his wife, he had an accident while attending the graduation of Niken, their only daughter who had been staying in the Islamic boarding school and memorized 30 juz of the Qur'an.

Lost, Riko feels Dejavu. He remembered his grandmother who died. Even after leaving her grandmother's hometown, Riko hasn't even come to visit her grandmother's resting place.

Niken, who should be standing proudly and getting an award, should go home with tears that continue to wet her face.

Seeing Niken crying so bitterly, Riko promised herself to take care of Niken like her own brother. Riko wants to repay all the kindness of Mr. Danu and his wife through his daughter.

Seven days after the mourning period, Riko ventured to speak to Niken.

" The Assalamualaikum mbak Niken"

" Wa'alaikumsalam" Niken replied with a puzzled look.

" Can I talk to Niken for a minute?" ask Riko carefully.

" previously introduce my name Riko"

" o yes mas Riko let's sit down, but sorry can only be explained"

" yes, I'm Niken, thank you "

" if you can know this Riko mas who works on Abi's farm, right? "

" right mbak, I worked at Pak Danu's farm from seven years ago"
