Lela meant not a real prison, but a prison in the house that is now occupied by her Aunt and Uncle. Those two people who always threatened and treated him badly. Then, he hid in a hut that used to be used for rest by the workers of his mother's orange garden.
Lela is threatened by Lein and Landu, will be called to the police, for stealing their wealth. Though he did not do it at all, and the couple was his own uncle and aunt. Because the inheritance of the land made the two people dark-eyed and wanted to master it.
Lela doesn't want to give up her mother's inheritance just like that, but, fearing their threat, makes her run away from her own home, exactly a week ago. That's when he met Lexie.
She was a simple girl who did not have much knowledge about the law, with being threatened like that, of course she was afraid. Her mother recently died from a deadly virus that is endemic throughout the country, and she is stuck with the current situation.
“Do you like to hunt?" tanya Lela tried to get to know Leksi even further, "I'm not!”
However, the girl seemed to give a clear distance between them because she saw Leksi, always giving a peeking look, making her uncomfortable, as if she was a strange and suspicious person.
“Yes. Just hobby!” lexi said proudly, she smiled as she spoke.
“You can smile too, I think not!”
Lexsi was suddenly upset with the girl who seemed outspoken, if only Lexsi did not feel indebted to her, it was certain that the girl was battered in her hands.
The two people threw gazes at each other, even though they had mentioned each other by name, they were still strangers. A stiff atmosphere and bad thoughts flowed between the sound of fire-burning wood in the middle of the house.
While outside, the rain was still heavy and the sound of lightning was still earthy.
“You're here alone?” lexsi asked as she spread her gaze around. He still couldn't believe that a girl like Lela lived alone in that hut.
“I've been alone every day, since my mom left.”
“Sorry, if I remind you."
"No problem!"
"Then, you stay with your father, here?”
“No! I don't know where that guy is! I don't care, after all there's no one that I can still live!”
Suddenly Lela remembered her father who had left when she was a child, but her mother never explained why he had left, until recently.
“You are not afraid, stay alone?”
“For what fear, I said, right? I've been on my own since my mom died!”
Lela's words, attracting admiration unintentionally in Lexsi's heart. He had never listened to the words of a woman until this serious.
“Why are you in jail?” lexsi asked again implying her curiosity.
Lela furrowed her eyebrows and wanted to feel like she was laughing, because it turned out Leksi believed she was a prisoner on a quest. Although, he was like a person who had run away from prison, but, he was at a loss to think about the reason for being detained.
“I ... sorry, I can't say the reason, it's too embarrassing!” said Lela, “I'm not a good person! So, get out of here after the rain stops!”
Lexsi wants to laugh at herself who easily believes in Lela. Though, the girl was far from attractive, other than her thin body and dull complexion, her face was also not pretty even, like one who had not bathed for days. Only one that makes it quite pleasing to the eye, that is, her lips are sensual.
Then, the girl threw him out after that, she offered to stay, before it rained. At once Lexsi felt like a stupid man being played by an ugly woman.
Damn it me! He said in his heart.
Suddenly Lexsi is desperate to kidnap this girl for revenge, because she feels she has been played with. He also thought of using just one bullet containing drugs, he used to use the bullet to be fired at animals to be hunted.
“I didn't get any game animals, but I still have a target I can target!” whispered his own heart.
“Do you have a mobile phone? My phone is gone!” lexsi asked while looking at the contents in her waist bag, to make Lela believe.
“This garden, which entered the forest area, sometimes the signal can appear sometimes lost, so it's useless to have something like that!” lela said while turning her face away.
“You have a regular phone?”
Lela was silent to think what the man meant.
“I don't have a phone, I'm a fugitive, after all here in the forest, there can't be such a thing, stupid!”
“You stupid fugitive!”
“Terden! You think you're smart? Huh! Can you just say I'm stupid?"
“You shouldn't let anyone else know your hiding place! If you're a recidivist." Lexsi said with a loud laugh, she thought that she could unmask the woman before her.
“You want to complain to the police after you get out of here? Hmh! You turned out to be the one who doesn't know how to repay!”
“You?” Lexi furious.
“What? You spoiled child! You must be a man who can only have fun with the wealth of parents and waste their money at will, yes, right?”
“Not! I'm the police!”
Lela again judged Leksi's appearance as not looking like a law enforcement officer. He considered the man as a commoner who worked as an officer or honorary teacher in the village. The man did have a high posture, but in no way was a gondrong-haired policeman up to the neck, mustachioed and thick bearded, even a sideburn that almost filled his cheeks.
“Are you trying to trick me?” Lela laughed, “Police no one is that thick and bearded! Fuck up! If you want to lie it think!” Lela laughed loudly after that until she was satisfied.
Lexsi was silent and they no longer spoke for quite a long time and simply enjoyed their hot chocolate.
“See, now the rain has stopped! Go!” Lela said as she looked out the window while her drink was up.
Lexsi came looking out the window and then, just went out, after taking a quick glance at Lela, without saying thank you. The girl only smiled faintly and turned her eyes away.
He remained there until some time looking towards the sky ascertaining whether to leave, to buy his necessities or not. Many daily needs are exhausted, while the money is thinning.
If it wasn't for Lein and Landu, he'd still be a teacher and he loved the job. However, the threat after threat made by his uncle and aunt, made him reluctant to stay together again.
Since her mother died three years ago her uncle and aunt took the initiative to take care of her and bring her to live together. Lela agreed because she felt the decision was better. Moreover, he lives alone in his house.
At that time Lela was sad because she lost her mother and happy when her mother's brother behaved very sweetly. He did not expect, after a long time the attitude of his uncle and aunt changed strangely. They demanded him to sell the house as well as the orange grove that became his legacy. Though Lein and Landu already have homes and other gardens, they are farmers who live well.
Lela had no idea what caused her uncle and aunt to change attitude even, threatening her with something unreasonable. She was once threatened to be made the mistress of a conglomerate, and she promised happiness and wealth far more than her estate.
In fact he was happy to stay home with Lein and Landu who had four children who were all being nice to him.
Therefore he persisted and tried to convince his aunt that, whatever the yield of his garden would be they divided the two, but, perhaps Lain and Landu were less satisfied so demanded more. They became complacent, after getting part of his brother's orange garden, his family life was getting better.
“Aahk!” lela shouted, suddenly she saw that part of her shoulder was stung by something, after which she could not see anything, everything darkened, and her limp legs were unable to hold her own weight, she said, he immediately fell on the floor.
