The Butterfly Hug

CHAPTRE 5

Marco looked back at the two cars, and Marco saw eight people coming out of two black cars, five men and three women. The five men were dressed in black while the three women were dressed in white like a nurse.

Soon they climbed into Catty's room on the second floor, and suddenly opened Catty's window and called out Catty's name.

Even the fat woman, whom Catty calls Aunt Meeza, appeared to be carrying a flashlight and looking for Catty around her yard.

Marco realises that Catty ran to his house in fear. Marco quickly closed his bedroom window and turned off his room light.

Marco approached Catty who was sitting in the corner of his bed with his body covered in a blanket. Marco sat near her, albeit awkwardly.

"Tell me, what happened to you? Why do you look so scared?" marco asked without looking at Catty.

Catty suddenly opened the blanket that covered her.

"I-I'm afraid, I'm afraid if I tell you they'll be me..."

Not done Catty talking. Suddenly someone knocked on Marco's door.

Geck! Geck! Geck!

Marco and Catty were shocked.

Excuse um...

The man kept calling and knocking on Marco's door.

"That's it, that's Aunt Meeza's voice... Does he know I'm here?"

Marco quickly peeked out of the window of his room, and sure enough it was Aunt Meeza along with two men in black.

Marco also panicked and did not know what to do.

"Yes that's your aunt even she brought two men in black like bodyguards."

Suddenly Catty holds Marco's hand with both hands and asks Marco not to tell his Aunt if he is at her house.

"Please don't tell them I'm here. I promise that when morning comes, I will go home. I just don't want to go home tonight, because they're gonna do something to me. Please just hide me for tonight..."

Catty, who kept pleading with Marco, made Marco melt. And Marco finally helped him.

Marco went down to the first floor to see Aunt Meeza. Marco was confused what he had to say to them, Marco finally pretended like he had just woken up from his sleep.

Marco opens the door, pretending to wake from sleep.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, did you see a woman of thin stature and long thick hair?" ask Aunt Meeza. He was accompanied by two men dressed in black.

"W-woman? I didn't see it, I was sleeping!"

"Hmm, it doesn't matter if you don't see it."

"What's wrong?"

"The woman's a little crazy, I'm her Aunt. If you find him please tell me, my name is Meeza."

"All right."

Finally Aunt Meeza and the two men in black clothes left Marco's house.

Marco quickly locks the fence and locks the door of his house as well, Marco goes straight into his room and meets Catty again.

But Catty was asleep, Marco just looked at her from a distance while watching Catty's thin body. Marco also thinks whether Aunt Meeza's words are true or not, if Catty is crazy.

Marco went to the second floor of his house and slept in the main room.

"Aragh!!! I can't sleep... "

It was early in the morning and Marco could not sleep, because it was uncomfortable to sleep under one roof with strangers.

Marco finally went up to the second floor to his own room. When he entered Catty was still asleep.

Marco quietly sat in the chair where he worked making songs. Marco turned on his computer and opened the files of the songs he was working on.

Suddenly Catty made a sound as she slept. Marco immediately faced towards him, when Marco noticed him. Catty even made a strange sound in her sleep like she was having a bad dream.

Catty's.

Marco called out to him slowly, and approached him. Marco sat on the bed right next to Catty.

Catty's... Oi... What's wrong with you?

Catty suddenly woke up with wide eyes, making Marco surprised to see her.

Huh!!! Huh...

Catty suddenly cried after waking up from her sleep. Catty looked at Marco as she shed tears.

Catty's... Did you dream mom...

Not yet finished Marco spoke, suddenly Catty hugged him so tightly. Marco rounded his eyes as Catty hugged him.

Catty sobbing in Marco's arms, Marco tries to calm him down. Marco patted Catty's back slowly though awkwardly.

When Marco patted Catty on the back, Marco could feel Catty's spine, because Marco was very curious. Marco stroked Catty's back again slowly without patting his back. And Marco started to feel that Catty was really thin.  Marco felt Catty thin from having too many thoughts in his brain to make his body damaged.

"Don't cry, you're just having a bad dream. Don't be like a child." Marco said as he let go of Catty's embrace.

"But I had a bad dream, I was scared."

"You're so big, you don't need everything just because of nightmares."

Marco instead acted cold and sat back in front of his computer.

Catty was saddened by Marco's words, and eventually went back to sleep. When Marco sits in front of his computer, Marco turns off his computer and notices Catty from his computer screen.

Marco saw Catty hugging himself in his sleep, Catty even stroked his own head with his hands.

Marco, who could not believe what he saw on the computer screen, suddenly turned to Catty, and what he saw was true, Catty was hugging herself.

Marco who knew of the embrace realized, if Catty was really frightened and anxious so Catty hugged himself so that the fear and anxiety was lost in him.

Marco bowed his head after seeing Catty hugging himself.

Marco begins to recall memories of his stay in the dorm, and Marco often hugs himself when he feels lonely, frightened and anxious. Marco always wanted to get a warm hug from his mother. Because he never felt it, Marco finally embraced himself.

Marco begins to forget the Butterfly Hug, but when he sees Catty doing it before him. Marco began to recall the Butterfly Hug, Marco suddenly crossed his arms and hugged himself. Yes, Marco did Butterfly Hug again after all this time.
