The Butterfly Hug

CHAPTRE 18

Marco eavesdropping was shocked when Catty opened his voice and told Jaeden his name.

Yuri and Jaeden were both shocked and immediately looked at Catty with surprised looks.

"Oh so your name is Catty... " Jaeden said with a smile on his face.

Jaeden suddenly continued to stare at Catty and ignored Yuri. Instantly Yuri gave a sharp look at Catty.

Marco, who was sitting at their back table, saw Yuri pulling Catty's hair hard, causing Catty pain, but Catty stayed strong in front of Jaeden as if she was fine.

"Why Catty was silent when Yuri grabbed her hair." Marco muttered as he looked towards Catty.

And suddenly the next show started, which was dancing together. Jaeden, the son of the party owner, went straight up to the stage to tell the guests who to invite their partner to dance later.

"Everyone will choose a woman who will be his partner to dance later. I hope there's a lucky young lady here." Jaeden's mother said with a cup of wine in her hand.

Without further ado Jaeden immediately told all the invited guests, who would be made his partner to dance later.

"I'll choose Catty... The one sitting next to Yuri, "

Instantly Marco is shocked by even Meeza's aunt, her husband and Yuri are shocked after hearing Jaeden choose Catty to be his dancing partner later.

Catty smiled broadly after finding out she had chosen Jaeden, but Catty's smile disappeared after her Aunt Meeza, her husband and Yuri gave Catty a sharp look.

"Catty's... Go ahead." said Jaeden again with a smile.

Even Jaeden's parents seem to like Catty because Catty looks very beautiful and neat with her yellow dress.

Catty who had not wanted to go forward was still staring back at Aunt Meeza and Yuri, because they were jealous to see Catty who was chosen instead of Yuri.

But it seemed Catty was trying to not care, Catty who was sitting beside Yuri regressed her chair and walked towards the Stage towards Jaeden.

Everyone applauded even many who did not wish Catty that pretty.

Even Marco was amazed to see Catty with her beautiful appearance is not as usual which is always messy.

"Argh! Gosh why I'm fascinated with Catty, she's just the weirdest woman I've ever met." Marco muttered as he looked at Catty who was walking towards Jaeden.

After Catty was on stage. Jaeden immediately reached out his hand and bowed his body asking for Catty's hand to accept his invitation.

Catty with her smile, put her hand on the palm of Jaeden's hand which invited her to dance together.

And finally the music is played and everyone dances together with their respective partners, including her husband Aunt Meeza and Yuri. They instead quietly sat down with their sour faces staring at Catty.

"The next time you don't bring Catty, she's useless here she's just taking my role. I think Jaeden's ugly turns out he's handsome like a prince." Yuri said angry at the mother.

Marco seemed confused by the words he heard from Yuri, in fact they were Catty.

Jaeden held onto Catty's waist and Catty held her hand against Jaeden's neck, until their faces were so close and almost kissed.

Marco who saw him suddenly felt jealous, Marco tried to shift his gaze but still he found it difficult.

"Why do I feel jealous seeing Catty together with Jaeden." Marco's inner speech.

When they were all busy dancing, suddenly the electricity went out to make everyone's view dark.

"Gosh why the lights are off, this way I can't see Catty." Marco Gumama.

Then everyone turned on their flash phones, when Marco turned on his flash phone as well. Marco immediately marched towards the stage to see Catty and Jaeden, but unfortunately the two of them suddenly disappeared.

Marco panicked after finding out the two of them had suddenly disappeared.

After Marco ran to and fro in the darkness of the room to find Catty. Marco finally found a door behind the stage.

"What is this door?"  Marco asked puzzled as he saw a door behind the stage.

With just the flash of a cell phone, Marco went inside the door and it was not locked at all.

When Marco came in, Jaeden was trying to kiss Catty and even pushed Catty against the wall.

Marco was surprised by what he saw, quickly Marco pulled Jaeden hard and pushed him away from Catty.

Goddamnit!

Shouted Marco while pushing Jaeden.

Catty did not seem to cry at all, Catty just fell silent as she bit her finger in the corner of the room.

"Whoa lo hah! How dare you hit me! I'm Jaeden I'm a rich man here. You beat me up, live you'll be abis!"

Although Jaeden talked a lot when Marco beat him, Marco still did not reply to Jaeden's words, Marco continued to hit him all-out.

After Marco is satisfied to hit him, to make Jaeden helpless. Now Marco runs towards Catty to take him away from there.

"Catty's... Catty, let's get out of here." Marco told Catty. But Catty was still silent with a blank look and continued to bite her fingers.

Marco took off his leather jacket and covered Catty's head, then carried Catty by embracing him out of the room.

When Marco came out, Marco was grateful that the room was still dark just a few lights from the guests' cell phone flash.

Marco takes Catty into his car and takes off the leather jacket that covers Catty's head.

"Catty's... You're safe."

When Marco said that, Catty was still the same as Marco saw in the dark room.

His face looked frightened, Catty continued to bite his fingers blankly.

Marco knew that Catty must be anxious. Marco approaches her, Marco tries to hold Catty's hands together and releases Catty's Fingers which Catty keeps biting.

Catty looked at Marco as Marco did that.

"Do the butterfly hug? It will ease your anxiety Catty" Marco said in a soft but heavy voice.

But Catty still does not want to do butterfly hug. Catty stood up from her seat and moved to sit on Marco's seat in the steering wheel.

Marco was immediately shocked by what Catty was doing.

Ca..catty. What are you doing?

The faces of the two of them were so close that even Catty's nose and Marco's nose touched.

"Ca..Catty, what's wrong with you?"

"Marcos... I don't want to see Jaeden's face again. I want to remove Jaeden's gaze and Jaeden's touch. He scares Marco, let me look you in the face so I forget Jaeden's gaze."
