My face was tangled out of my supervising lecturer's room. After the day and night until I stay up all I do is Chapter 2, the results are a complete revision! I want to burn the paper in my hand right now. I stared hopelessly at the papers and squeezed them slowly. If I burn this paper, there I am like a daze because I forget where the revision section is. As a result, the wrong revision, which is right even I revised and the wrong is getting wrong. But, uh, almost every page has been revised either because there is no common thread between paragraphs one with another or just a matter of using the word less precise makes my burning lust even more burning!
In the car, all my desires were gone. Replaced by fatigue. I just threw the revisian in the backseat. Both of my hands were moving to hold the car's steering wheel. The next second, I had already stuck my forehead to the steering wheel. Clenched my forehead a few times on that thing.
"When did I graduate, Gusti???" My soul is desperate.
Usually, if this stress, I am very eager to shop. But, for this time somehow I was lazy to set foot into the mall. Lately I have been in the room more often. Besides because there are Aksa who sometimes accompany chatting if you happen to be breathing outside. I also feel more comfortable in my room. Know that every stress I just go home. Who knows at that time I also feel comfortable even though there is no Aksa. Kan, pretty, can ngirit monthly money.
Before boarding, I decided to stop in front of my subscription because my stomach was hungry. Whether it was a lucky break or just a coincidence, I saw Aksa who was also buying soto. After saying hello for a while I started to open the conversation.
"Gue didn't see your car in front, Sa. What's up here?"
"Street."
"For what? Jaoh kali, Sa."
Aksa just smiled knot. His eyes narrowed because it made my blood rustle. "All sports. It's good to waste calories if you walk gini?"
"Don't you like my recommendation?"
His smile widened. "Yes, Echoes. I got hooked here because of the echo." Feeling proud because indirectly Aksa also likes what food I like as well. Hm.. You know, I'll take him around my favorite food. Count the impromptu dates.
"Widiih. can I take a kulineran. My food recommendations are still plenty. Lo belom nyobain pecel catfish in the fork, right? The place is really rame when it is not on the side of the highway. There is more of my favorite goat fried rice. And everything costs us. Not jaoh-jaoh very. The one in betel kebon sirih lost the same ni ni ni goreng."
"Well, if invited, can be really. Not to be confused about what to eat?"
"Later malem yuk?" Invite me directly.
"Where?"
"Goat fried rice."
Aksa thought for a moment. "But I have a group assignment for the final project of the course this afternoon."
"Yes, that abis."
"I'll tell you about the echo. What kemaleman?"
Never mind kemaleman. I am jabanin at dawn! Jogging leaves at half 6 aja brushed abis, Sa!
"No papa."
"Not good ah chick if out kemaleman. I'm afraid of being counted for nothing." Aksa's answer somehow made my mood relieved.
"Judek. Eat fried rice tek aja that usually passes." Laughter breaks. "I revised it again, Sa. I have a lot of revisit. Want to die."
"Well, don't die dong, echo. There will be no more food recommendations." Even though I know it's just a joke Aksa. That joke made my heart feel like it was coming out. Oh my, Sa! I can fucking cut it!
"Sa, just go home with me." Soto Aksa came first because he ordered first.
"okay." Aksa nodded in agreement.
"Eh, Sa." I said again.
"Yes, Echoes?"
"Lo's funny too ya's making jokes." My comment. Lately I feel Aksa is more relaxed. Not as long as I first met. Maybe because he was not used to me. And because quite often chatting and occasionally out foraging costs. Long time the stiffness is gone.
"Yes, I often go with Echoes. It's funny Nular echoes."
Can you faint now?
--
I've been taking a shower since this afternoon. I saw Aksa just got out of the room before I went in the bathroom. In my heart I grunt. Why is he out at this hour? There will be kemaleman and not so to the fried goat rice. But, it's okay. At the cost of eating fried rice tek tek together Aksa was also happy.
While waiting for the night, I opened the laptop. His intentions wanted to slightly start revising again. But, I was tempted to stream the movie. Yaudahlah, later the revision will fit with Aksa. I yawned in the middle of watching a movie. My eyes are also a little watery as it restrains drowsiness. It's already entered the second movie I've watched. And it's 8 o'clock past while Aksa hasn't come home yet. My stomach was rumbling to be filled.
"Patience, Gem!" I remind myself many times. But, my stomach really can't be compromised. I gave up and delivered the order to a chicken penyet at the end of the road near the cost.
I stopped my watching activity and abandoned my body on the bed. I look at the ceiling of the room. Silence filled my room. Only occasionally did my stomach sound. As I began to enjoy the silence created. My phone's bordering made me jump out of bed. I was in a hurry, hopefully Aksa who called if soon she will arrive. May Aksa Lord. Hopefully!
My hope was thrown away like a dust grain on the street when I found a message from the chicken brothers who told me he was downstairs. I snorted in annoyance and took the wallet down.
"Old time, Neng, no delivery order?" My forehead wrinkled. Not expecting these one brothers just remember that I often delivery order chicken penyet if you are lazy out of boarding.
"Udah has his own brother who is ready to eat where I can dab when aja." I lied half-jokingly. Yeah, it's not really a lie. In fact, I've been eating with Aksa a lot lately.
"Ciee, aren't you single anymore? My hope is in vain dong waitin Neng."
"Shan dah! I'm not giving you tip lo!" My threat.
"Yes, Neng. Maap, Neng. Just kidding."
"Benefit and just kidding everything. Here's the money, take the change. Make ye, Bang!" Do not wait for a response from the delivery orders. I went back to the room. Open the box containing the chicken and finish it in just minutes.
Scroll wall clock in room. It's almost 9 o'clock. Looks like dinner with Aksa for tonight should be dashed. I sighed softly. Wash both hands in the bathroom sink while washing your face and brushing your teeth. Drowsiness came back upon my return from the bathroom.
"How long will I sleep?" This time I had to face a dilemma between drowsiness and a strong desire to be with Aksa. For a long time I was immersed in the dilemma until I didn't realize I was falling asleep.
Unconscious for a few minutes as I fell asleep, my phone was embroidered. Inside the phone screen, the name Aksa looks very clear.
--
This is the best morning in my version. When checking the phone, there were two missed calls as well as one message that was all from Aksa.
From: Aksa Mailop
Echoes, is it sleeping?
Sorry to return home so can not nemenin Echoes.
The echo isn't angry, is it?
Actually I'm ordinary. But, one mischievous idea popped up instantly in my brain as I was about to retaliate.
To: Aksa Mailop
Angrier. I waited for you while holding the laper and finally fell asleep.
Shortly after I returned the message. Call in from Aksa. My smile was wide when I found out. Before answering the phone, I had to cough a few times to neutralize my happy feelings. I pretended to be angry again. Time on the phone rich people again artengan? Even though it is actually a seneng.
"Anger echo?" Aksa's voice sounded anxious.
"I'm sorry?"
"Such an apology? If all the problems are solved by apologizing. People don't need to be in prison. Apologise for business." I had a hard time controlling the intonation of my voice so as not to laugh.
"Keep, how do I let Gema apologize?" His tone really implied regret.
I thought for a moment. "Hm.. Yeah, what is that. It's up to you to let me apologize."
"What else would you eat? Come on, I'm temenin. What are the echoes of watching a movie? I want to go too."
"Gue wants to be invited to a date, Sa."
"What?"
I really have no power to hold back my laughter anymore. "No, Sa. I'm just kidding. I was waiting for you but I finally ate it myself. Keep falling asleep."
"But, just keep it. I promised to bring the Revision Echoes." There were still remnants of the regretful tone from his speech.
"It's okay. I was also a males. If you want, today I revised how? But, I'm males at the cost. The driver's outside."
"Where do you want the echoes?"
"In this coffee shop that his wife is dating."
"Starbucks is that. Wanna?"
"Rame ah's. Not for ntar."
"Do you want a cafe where I usually do chores with friends? The place is pretty good. The wife also touched. No rame because the place is quite big and the space between tables is a bit far."
"Okay, I can."
Aksa sighed softly. "But, Echoes, I'm nemenin Ema abis pick up my om at the airport huh?"
"What time?"
"Later in the afternoon. So, afternoon until malem free."
"Oh, jaudah, pick up Om first which is important. No papa. I can revise tomorrow as well. Today again mager severe."
"Don't, the Echoes should finish revising the Gema thesis. Let's move on to the next chapter. Later in the afternoon I'll be able to echo."
"Yes, Aksa."
"OK deh. I'm getting ready for college, okay?"
"Okay, Aksa."
After disconnecting Aksa's phone. I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I plan to go to the supermarket today to buy a room. Besides, the food stock in my fridge has started to pull over. I have to go back nyetok. For the sake of the stomach that is always sluggish in the middle of the night and ask for nutritional intake when the brain has begun to get tired of doing thesis.
I circled around while groping the trolley that was dominated by snacks. "Where is Sunlight?" My eyes were staring at the shelves in front. Looking for the stuff I'm looking for. After meeting, I put it in the trolley and walked again looking for other items I needed.
While paying at the cashier, Vio called. Because I just happened to be outside and pretty close to the cost. Vio asks for help to accompany him to the shipping expedition to send his merchandise in the online shop. Said the courier who used to pick up his stuff didn't come. I don't know, I don't understand. I'm just gonna. Anyway, it's still noon. Aksa promised to accompany me later in the afternoon or evening. So, I don't need to rush.
"Yeah, Vi, what's in check again si? No, you wrote the address."
"Just in case. Something is wrong once."
"Easy. If the address is wrong, most reversed again to lo."
"That's not the problem. If it's back to me again, yes. But, nyampe to the customer will certainly be longer than estimated. I don't want my customers to wait long. For me, customer satisfaction is number one. Who knows what I stand for as a regular subscription? Ye, right?"
"Asik nci nci online shop now."
"Ye, you're noisy. Help me out." I nodded and helped Vio double-check his shipping.
I just got to the boarding house around 3 o'clock. I saw Aksa's car was already in his boarding parking lot. Seeing that my smile was broken. My car was parked and I got out of the car. My step towards the fence was about to close the fence when a voice averted my gaze.
"Eye?"
My smile disappeared immediately. I saw Abi with a plastic one that I believe contained food clutched in his right hand.
"What are you doing here?!" I ketus. It is not possible to speak softly with Abi. "Lo spy on me huh?!" Accuse me.
Abi raised one eyebrow. Both of his hands were raised up, reaching for the air. "Wow, do I really have that job until all your spies?"
"Why do you stay here?!"
"Gue told you last week that he was going to Jakarta."
I heard her muttering answer. "No matter about that. What I'm asking, why are you here? Like, here. In front of my cost."
Abi spread his gaze around. A small smile appeared behind his slenge face.
"Oh, that." Relaxed words. "Quiet down. I'm not spying at all if that's what you're afraid of. Anyway, I also just found out if you stay at this cost."
Abi sighed, continuing his sentence. "Make a while, I'll stay here."
"Where?" Tanyaku.
"Here." Abi pointed to the cost of Aksa which is right across from my boarding house.
My eyes are rounded. "Boong, right lo? I don't believe it."
"Eh, Echoes? Just came home, huh?" I turned and found Aksa who knew she had appeared behind Abi. His one hand also carried a plastic package. But, it was different from Abi. The plastic contained a small snack and two tea boxes.
My tone of voice was much different when talking to Aksa. "Yes. Lo from Bu Sumi's shop?" Aksa nodded.
"Oh, you two know each other?" As if forgetting the presence of Abi. His voice made my voice intonate back up. My eyes were staring at Abi.
"Oh yes, Echoes. This is my Om I said. He just came from Jogja—" my world instantly felt stopped. I don't care what Aksa says next. All I care about right now is one. How can this rancid playboy be the Omnya Aksa? What a funny act?!
