Chapter 7's

Jeffrey has arrived home. Enter the mansion in a hurry. Mansion silence. The maids may be busy in another room.

"Joe.. Joee" cried Jeffrey calling Jeffrey. Joe, who was in the kitchen, came over to Jeffrey.

"Yes, Sir?" joe asked as soon as he got in front of Jeffrey. After bowing respectfully of course.

"Where's Mark?" jeffrey asked quickly as soon as Joe arrived in front of him.

"Young Master is playing with Anna in Master's backyard".

Jeffrey walked straight to the back of the room that Joe was pointing at. Joe Dwngan faithfully follows his Master.

"Mark's pants don't run too fast" the screams Anna believed immediately shocked Jeffrey and Joe. They are accelerating their steps towards the backyard.

Jeffrey opened the door connecting the dining room and backyard roughly. His eyes looked for Mark. Mark and Anna were running around on the edge of the pool.

Jeffrey saw Mark's unstable footsteps. The edge of the pool is a little slippery because of the water.

The sound of a loud impact typical of people falling makes Joe who stands behind Jeffrey's body surprised. Joe immediately saw what was going on.

Anna dropped her body before Mark actually fell slipping through the puddle and fell. Fortunately Anna had reached for Mark's shirt and pulled him from the incident 'falling on the edge of the pool.

"What are you doing?" jeffrey.

Anna chose silence. He's sure Jeffrey saw what happened, too. Anna saved Mark. But it is also his fault to play in a vulnerable place like this.

Jeffrey sat down in front of Anna. Holds both of Mark's shoulders. "Mark anyone sick, honey?"

Mark hush. The boy was crying even more.

"Why did you invite him to play in exactly like this? Lookie! Wrong-wrong you will even load my son's wretch" Jeffrey snapped.

"Hiks hiks~ huwaaa.." Mark took off his hug on Anna and turned to face Jeffrey.

"Father don't turn Sister Anna hiks-" with tears in her eyes and a mouthful of snot Mark barked at her papa.

Jeffrey was surprised by Mark. His only son defended Anna.

Jeffrey checked Mark's body. His eyes looked carefully. Fearful that her son was hurt.

"Yes what dear...why huum?" Jeffrey rubbed Mark's cheeks in tears. Jeffrey's still worried.

"Ssh-" Anna grimaced as she moved her shoulders slightly.

Mark looked at Anna. "Sister. huwaaa"

"Sssstt.. have you not cried hum? It's okay" Anna said. Anna smiled at Mark.

"Mark wasn't hurt, was he? No one's sick hm?" ask Jeffrey again. Can't help his worry, however.

"It's okay Papaa. but Brother Anna" replied Mark.

Anna looked down timidly. However, he also felt a little guilty even though he fell.

Jeffrey breathed. He stood up and lifted Mark into his arms.

"Wakeup. Have Joe treat you if anyone gets hurt" Jeffrey said, cold.

Anna looked up, staring at Jeffrey's astonishment.

"What?" ask Jeffrey.

"S-I'm not in-sacked sir?" said Anna stammering. Heart's pounding. What if he's really fired?

"No. You saved Mark earlier".

Mark nodded, "Thank you.. Brother Anna. Sorry, brother fell down".

Mark rubbed his eyes that were still wet from crying earlier.

"Come Mark. We take a shower" Jeffrey said gently. His tone changed as he spoke to Mark. Then walk away from Anna and Joe.

After their death, Joe extended a shield to Anna. Help him wake.

Joe nodded, "Alright. I'll bring you a compress later. After you get home".

"Alright then, I'm out first".

Joe smiled before leaving Anna. After the door of her room was completely closed, Anna stood facing the mirror that was there. Anna opened her shirt a little.
