071: Five Ghost Blade Demon

Chen An finished the dish he ordered casually. He knew he was being followed by one of the men guarding the southern gate of the city.

After paying for the meal, Chen An bought two wine jars that he brought out of the restaurant. Chen An chose to pass through a deserted alley then shot into the air quickly.

“Hah! Where did the young man go?!” The guard who followed Chen An was shocked as he entered the small Gang. Then tried to run to catch up with Chen An who he thought had turned at the end of the alley.

But his eyes immediately turned dark. And when he woke up, he was surprised to find himself in a forest.

“Why are you following me?!” Chen An asked with an amused smile, seeing the look on the guard's face that was shocked and could not move at all, because his body had been taken.

“Answer before my patience runs out!” hearing Chen An's threat, the man became frightened and immediately explained why he was following the young man.

Hearing that Chen An became convinced that Wuhu City had been overrun by the black school warriors. When he asked why there was not a single soldier in Wuhu city, the man only fell silent with a look of wonder.

“Did Young Master not know if the Jian Empire had collapsed. Currently the Black Scepter Sect controlled most of the territory of the Jian Empire.”

Chen An was surprised to hear this, he decided to head to the Imperial Capital of Jian. After the man explained the location and direction towards the Jianchang Capital, Chen An finished him off with a single strike.

Chen An shot high into the air, and floated towards the northwest as the hint given by the man earlier.

While passing through a large forest, Chen An's eyes were always watching the situation below him, looking at an unbalanced battle.

Chen An immediately darted down and stood on a tree, observing the battle situation where dozens of soldiers were being surrounded by over a hundred people who seemed to be warriors.

“Protect Crown Prince with our lives!” A burly man who seemed to be the leader of those elite soldiers, shouted up the spirit of its members.

The eight elite soldiers who were in a circular position, immediately fixed their positions. In the middle of the circle, a child, about twelve, was trying to hold back the tears of the situation he was facing.

Around his body, there were five bodies of elite soldiers who had been his bodyguards.

Hearing that, Chen An immediately learned of the matter. A second later, there were screams of death from dozens of people who fell with lives lost.

Less than ten seconds later, the warriors besieging the soldiers had fallen and left only one person who was the leader.

Chen An who appeared a moment later, smirked towards the man. He had indeed deliberately not killed the warrior leader who was at the level of the Intermediate Earth Warrior.

Chen An's arrival and what he had done, made the man's knees tremble violently. He did not expect a hundred of his men to be killed so quickly by a young man who deserved to be his son.

“Who are you!? Dare to kill the Black Stick Sect Members!” After gathering back his courage, the man said to Chen An while unsheathing his sword.

“Secte Black Stick? So you're Hong Qi and Cheng Kun's men. Tell me where your Chief is!” Chen An's face turned violent.

The killing aura was extremely concentrated, emanating from his body. The eight soldiers who had been exhausted, instantly fell unconscious.

The Jian Empire's Elite Warrior Commander, immediately grabbed the unconscious Crown Prince's Body. He also intended to leave the place, after sensing Chen An's killing aura.

“Don't be afraid commander, I won't hurt you.” Chen An's gentle speech, made the warrior Commander reflect on his intentions.

The man who claimed to be the 23rd Elder of the Black Stick Sect, jumped into the air while slashing a sword towards Chen An's head.

The sword broke into two pieces when it touched Chen An's head. The 23rd Elder gasped in shock, until he too late avoided the grip of Chen An's hand on his neck.

“Say where your Chairman is currently!” Chen An's question was only answered with a thin grin by the 23rd Elder.

”Kill Me. I know you'll kill me even if I tell you. Hahaha hek!” The laughter of the 23rd Elder came to a halt, along with his life that was drifting because his crumpled collarbone was squeezed by Chen An.

After throwing the man's body, Chen An stepped closer to the Elite Commandant who was now staring at him with a face that was indifferent.

“Do not fear commanders, I am not from their group. “Ah why do they sleep here?” Chen An took out one of his wine jars.

With the wine from the urn, he made the eight elite soldiers immediately awaken from his stupor. Leisurely Chen An then straightened his wine.

“Commander ... What's your name? Is that kid the Crown Prince of the Jian Empire?” Chen An asked as he sat down beside the commander of the army and thrust his wine jar.

Fearfully the commander of the army received the urn and answered Chen An's question. “Name of servant Chang Bin. True Master Swordsman, he is the Prince of Jiang Fu, Crown Prince of the Jian Empire. Thanks for your help.”

After laying down Jiang Fu's body, Commander Chang Bin immediately knelt before Chen An, followed by eight of his men.

Chen An patted Commander Chang on the shoulder and asked him to sit back down. Chen An then asked what had happened in the Jian Imperial Capital.

Commander Chang then explained that the Black Scepter Sect had taken over the Capital and Imperial Palace.

Somehow, the Black Stick Sect Chief managed to gather tens of thousands of black-flow warriors to attack the Imperial Capital and take control of other major cities.

“Then what happened to His Majesty the Emperor? Is he still alive?” Ask Chen An. There was sadness on Commander Chang Bin's face before he answered Chen An's question.

“I do not know for sure Mr. Swordsman, Maybe His Majesty has ..” Commander Chang is unable to continue his sentence. Chen An understood what the Commander wanted to tell him.

Chen An suddenly moved at an unexpected speed, upon seeing dozens of flying blades, roaring rapidly towards them.

The eight soldiers who were sitting quite far away from Chen An, could not avoid that extremely fast attack. They died with a dozen knives stuck in his body.

A moment later, the bodies of the eight warriors were seen billowing black smoke with melted body flesh as if burning.

“Bole also you young man, can avoid attack from us, Five Ghost Blade Demon.”

Five Grandfathers appeared from several directions, besieging Chen An and Commander Chang who were cradling the Crown Prince with a body that was shaking violently at the name of the Five Ghost Blade Demon.
