The Inevitable Fight

Our plan failed...

The plan we had planned neatly failed...

All because of this guy...

I continued grimacing in annoyance while continuing to run, while the three of them sitting on my shoulders only looked with faces staring in confusion

We finally got to the back door. All of my friends have also arrived there, but they are seen panting with Ivor who is seen pulling out his holy weapon

Their eyes were all turned toward Cyth, and my friends who recognized him were wide-eyed

I slowly put the three of them to the ground, then moved forward to that large door

"That door is unlocked you know!?" Cyth said

When the castle soldiers who heard the noise had already found us, we had already started running as fast as we could, coming out of Lily's castle

However, among those soldiers, 3 black auras shot towards us

Realizing those three auras, I immediately threw the seed plant behind us and channeled Mana

In an instant, a gigantic insect-eating plant appeared and caught one of them, while the others managed to dodge. But the plant was destroyed instantly when the form of Darwin appeared in place of the black aura

"OBERON!!!"

Darwin then darted back towards us and prepared to claw. Anticipating his attack, I faced it head-on as my friends continued to run

All my Elf friends besides Ivor then took out their respective holy weapons while continuing to run

Ordelia's wooden stick, Luxor's light arrow, Lyralia's shapeless water catalyst, and Zaphir's curse knife

Zaphir immediately turned his body and attacked Darwin quickly, but his attack was avoided by Darwin. But, I directly tied him up and slammed him to the ground, then wrapped around his entire body

But, he quickly transformed into his bat form and made my hand tendril crumble. However, I grew my hand back in a short time

"I hate this guy...! He doesn't seem to be able to die easily!" Zaphir said furiously

"Well... You'll get used to it" I replied

I summoned my holy weapons and began to attack at the same time as Zaphir before Darwin could move

Walter then shows himself and starts shooting at us from a distance. But, the bullets were repelled by Lyralia by forming her weapon into a blocking whip

Lyralia then instantly turned her weapon into a spear, then threw the spear at Walter. Walter dodged quickly, but because of the speed of the spear throw, his waist was scratched. She attacks Lyralia while holding her blood out, while Lyralia pulls back her holy weapon and prepares to strike again

And also facing Walter, Cyth stands next to Lyralia while filling her gun bullets

"Well, whoa. The rat seems to be having a hard time fighting a woman~" Cyth said

Walter just smiled cynically as he stood up straight and said, "Don't see you in a long time, old friend"

Disillusioned, Cyth begins shooting him blindly, aided by Lyralia, but confronted by Walter with magic

"You didn't forget that I could do magic, did you?" Ask Walter. He shot Cyth in the shoulder

"No" Cyth replied. "You forgot that I can also do magic" he added

The bullet was removed from his shirt as if it were just a speck of dust

Only his clothes were hollowed out by bullets. Cyth's shoulders did not bleed a single bit. Seeing that, Walter simply smiled in cold sweat, trying to figure out a way to escape the situation

Cyth, then shot again at him

Realizing the power in the bullet, Walter dodged using wind magic

Jael finally showed his form, but he confronted the people who were running

Ivor and Ordelia are forced to confront him, and open the way for others to keep running. But their efforts have not borne fruit. Yael's black magic darted towards the running people. Ivor and Ordelia could only look on with panicked faces as they were not fast enough to block the attack

However, when the magic came close to them...

Black smoke billowed after that magic explosion. I barely focused on Darwin when I realized the explosion

And when I had the space to look a little at the slowly disappearing black smoke, I saw Fyon standing there, blocking Yael's attack with all his might

2 Arrows then darted rapidly towards Jael, but were avoided by him

"annoyingly... The plan we made shouldn't be this messy..."

"To be honest, Luna, we do too... Until Cyth makes a storm inside the castle"

From a distance, everyone who had run was already there, along with Luxor and Luna who were busy preparing their arrows again

"FYON! TAKE CARE!" Shouted Luna at Fyon

"WHISPER! I'M BUSY!" Reply Fyon

Fyon!? Luna!? Are they here too?

He darted towards me before I could react. Both arms of my hands even to the point of being scratched by her nails

This fellow...

He had been scratched many times by Zaphir's blade, but the curse effect of the blade did not even seem to react on his body

Zaphir's Curse Knife was one of the sacred weapons feared in the Elf army. Just a little bit of a scratch belonging to the blade, a person's body will slowly disintegrate from within

Edwin then slashed out a stream of Mana towards me before I could land. I was also forced to be saved by Zaphir who also looks overwhelmed

Luna was upset that Darwin had avoided a little of his attack

But, I used that opportunity to strike back. Edwin who wanted to attack me was actually inhibited by Zaphir and almost scratched by his knife. The sound of a complaint between the sword and the knife was heard clearly, but Zaphir always managed to make Edwin take a step back from his place

Meanwhile, I was busy serving Darwin who continued to attack me blindly. I occasionally tried to hit him in the head with my stick, but it didn't even bother him in the least

I smashed my wand into the ground, and many tree roots pierced Darwin's body. However, he dodged all of those roots so that none of those tree roots had managed to stab his heart

Seeing that Cyth and Lyralia were already unfocused on him, Walter used the opportunity to escape as quickly as possible using his black aura talisman. Cyth, who had just realized it too late, fired a gun at Walter, and could only see that black aura was taking Walter away quickly

He attacked angrily and fired his pistol at Yael, but was easily repelled with only his cloak

Furthermore, I cannot see Yael's movements at all. He was suddenly already in front of Cyth, and directly hit him until it crashed far enough away

Lyralia takes the time to catch Cyth, while Ivor and Ordelia try to stop Jael

Hearing my cry Lyralia who supported Cyth ran towards Seren quickly, assisted by Luna who secured them. Fyon followed my orders and immediately ran towards Seren after saving Ordelia and Ivor

Only Zaphir and I were left behind and still take care of Edwin and Darwin

"Zaphir! You leave too!"

But, instead of carrying out my orders, Zaphir simply smiled faintly and exclaimed, saying,

"Heh. It won't! I'm not gonna let one more Oberon die!"

"DEAD! DIE UP! DIE UP! DIE!"

I almost got him claws again...!
