The Battle of Legendia
Sam and Ride
One day at dusk illuminated a vast expanse of lush forest and located not far from the village of Ruin, one of the villages located in the southern region of the Kingdom of Legendia, two young men about fifteen years old ran with a weapon with the aim of hunting, this is not the first time they do the activity.
One of the black-haired young men carrying a sword on his back was seen panting with sweat all over his body looking desperate because he had not got the results of his hunt, and one more brunette young man was holding an arrow as if preparing to launch an attack on his target while looking in all directions to ensure he could meet his hunted animal.
They keep running while avoiding bushes, tree branches or even tree trunks that block their path. Soon the brown-haired young man paused for a moment and immediately quickly picked up his bow and pulled his bowstring, at the same time he had taken aim at the target, then he let go.
The sound of a dart shot released by the young man stuck right on the left foot of the back of the Deer, when the deer fled with a limp, then the young man who had launched the arrow shouted.
“Sam! Quickly slash that deer!”
The young man carrying the sword was named Sam, then took out a sword from the sheath on his back and chased the hobbled deer as if his energy had been replenished.
“Give me Ride! Today we will have dinner with venison!”
Sam jumped up and was ready to slash the deer's neck but suddenly an **** the forest that had been contaminated with the aura of darkness or commonly called Boar was immediately grabbed the deer and made Sam surprised.
Ride quickly took back the arrow stored on his back and fired back the arrow. Unfortunately the arrow bounced because it hit the back of the Boar, because the back of the Boar is coated with a hard spine and also has a deep red eye color, this Boar is **** the forest is contaminated with the aura of darkness and they belong to one of the list of monsters.
This was the first time they had seen a Boar of this size, surely they are surprised because lately the Boar population is increasingly signaling that the forces of darkness will slowly rise and attack the human race again.
“Sam back!” Ride commemorates Sam who will desperately attack the large Boar. Then he again prepared his arrows and this time he used his magic power to attack the Boar.
“Sam I'll use mine, so step aside then we'll run and tell grandpa”
“Shoot Ride fast! After that I will defeat him so you just keep watch behind me and help me to hold that Boar with you!” This time Sam ignored Ride's orders and would still defeat the Boar.
Then shoot Ride successfully hit the body of the Boar and then cause a freezing effect on the area that hit the firing, the Boar looks as if in pain by Ride's property.
Sam swiftly took advantage of the situation to attack the head of the Boar and the attack made a fatal wound on the head of the Boar. Then the Boar went on a rampage by ramming towards Sam. Sam quickly dodged the Boar's attack.
“Sial you fucking Boar! I will repay you with my sword technique all this time!”
Sam aimed at the Boar's neck and jumped in that direction and then slashed his sword with sparks from the sword technique he mastered.
After hitting his neck suddenly the sword that stuck into the Boar's neck immediately released a huge fire coming from the sword.
“Feel this! One of my special moves.... !!” Sam's shout that was slashing the Boar's neck, then turned upward and landed his feet back on the ground. Form a pattern of attack that is good enough for an aspiring adventurer.
In an instant the Boar was stiffened by Sam's attack. Ride was just dumbfounded to see the attack from Sam, as if amazed by the movement Sam made. Then Sam raised his sword which showed that he was happy to have defeated the above-average Boar.
“You seen Ride? Thought I could beat a Boar of this size” Sam turned towards Ride with a big smile. Ride simply replied back with his little smile.
Shortly after that Sam showed an expression of pain caused by the Boar attack. Ride approached him.
“You okay Sam? Your wound is quite bad yes, let's go home and ask grandfather to treat your wound before infection”
Ride looked sad because he did not get the results of his hunt but instead met a Boar. On the contrary, Sam seems happy to have defeated the Boar, though he does not care about his safety.
“Oh Yes Sam... We're not going to dinner with deer meat”
“Ah you're right Ride!! Hopefully grandfather still has a stockpile of chicken leftover yesterday” Sam hopes with an anxious face while holding his wound.
“Didn't you spend it last afternoon?”
“Oh no!! I didn't know we weren't going to get the game this time. Shit!”
They rushed back to Ruin village, because the sky was also getting dark, there was no way they could continue the hunt in the dark sky and at such a time there would be more and more monsters roaming the forest area.
