A sweet-fruited wound

A person in the car watches Nico from the first moment Nico leaves the burning warehouse, until he follows where Nico's car is going. At first the man did not understand what Nico was doing in front of a Cafe. But a few minutes of monitoring and paying attention, now he became aware of the reason Nico was there. For what else if not for a beautiful woman who he suspected as the man's lover, because the view of Nico only focused on the figure of the beautiful woman since getting out of the car.

"Huhaha....." His laughter reverberated in the car. He was already impatient to see Nico's reaction when the woman was injured. And then covered his head with a black hat and coated it with a hoodie cover that he was wearing, before then getting out of the car.

It seems like luck is on his side, there are not so many people passing by, so it will facilitate the action. Moreover, the two women who did not know who it looked were unaware of its presence. Both of Johannes's hands were put in his hoodie pocket, and there was a knife in it.

His eyes darkened, and Johannes did not want to waste any more time, so he sped up and pushed two women in his way.

Johannes swung his knife at the woman's suspected lover but unfortunately someone first pulled the woman and held her knife. That person was none other than Nico, no matter when Nico was in front of him.

Nico tried to hold the knife, although the man wearing the hoodie kept exerting his strength to try to pull the knife. As a result, the knife tore the skin of Nico's palm until blood poured. Jennifer panicked not to play, her two eyes that were originally clear like a newborn baby were now filled with tears.

Nico grabbed the knife, no matter the fresh blood that kept pouring from his palm. A few seconds later, the knife changed hands.

Nico kicked Johannes in the stomach, so the man fell down and the hat and hoodie cover were revealed. Johannes squealed in pain at Nico's kick and tried to get up. But Elma held Johannes's hands together and locked them before the man again launched his action again. Although a woman, Elma's power is equivalent to that of a man, considering that his men are already trained.

While Jennifer is still in half shock, trying to help Nico's wounds using her handkerchief that she took from inside her bag. The woman was already trying to suppress the blood that just kept pouring out nonstop. Jennifer is guilty of being hurt because she is Nico.

"Take me off, you fucking lady!" he cursed and tried to escape from Elma. But Elma did not care about the cry of Johannes.

A few people around no one dared to approach, even Jane was pecking at a place with a slightly trembling body.

Two large men in shock walked over in half a panic and were frightened, because they had arrived too late.

"Boss Nico...."

"Where have you been, huh?!!" Nico yelled at two of his men who were not so drugged, making Jennifer jerked in shock.

"Don't say much!!" Nico interrupted one of his men's sentences. "Hurry up and take care of him!" Then his eyes sharpened as soon as they showed Johannes's face. Nico did look foreign to Johannes because he had never met face to face.

Two Black Lion men replace the role of Elma who has been trying to hold Johannes' body. No matter how hard Johannes exerted his energy, he would still lose to the power of Nico's men.

"Look, I'm gonna make you lose a precious woman, like I lost my lover because you killed him!" Still struggling and trying to push the bodies of the two men holding her back. "I won't let you live quietly with that woman. I'll make sure you die in my hands! Huh fucking asshole, let me go!" Johannes was angry. His efforts were in vain, so he could only scold Nico to vent his anger.

Under Nico's gaze, the two men dragged Johannes away from there. While Elma tried to disperse some people who still pay attention and remind them not to contact the police, because Elma said that the man was his partner who escaped from the mental hospital. And then take over the knife from the hands of boss Nico.

Realizing what he had just done, Nico immediately turned his head towards Jennifer, where her Miss Jennie was completely shocked by her attitude. "Miss sorry, Miss must be very surprised." Nico tried to calm Jennifer down.

Jennifer nodded and then shook her head. "I'm fine.. I'm fine, you're the one who's hurt." Holding Nico's hand, though the bleeding had gradually receded.

"It's okay Miss, I'm fine. Wounds like this are meaningless to Miss's safety." Nico convinced Jennifer not to feel guilty. What's more, it looks like the man's initial target is himself, and it's Nico who feels guilty towards her Miss Jennie.

"We'd better go to the hospital....." Jennifer remained anxious, as the wound could have become infected if not treated immediately.

Nico complies with Jennifer's insisting that she go to the hospital for a doctor to treat. Even Jennifer asked for the best doctor in the hospital, who was none other than her own uncle.

"Uncle, how's the wound?" jennifer asked as Doctor Ronald finished dressing the wound on Nico's left palm.

"The wound is deep enough. It may take a long time to recover" he replied. Dr. Ronald is best friends with Daddy Jhony and Daddy Garry, the father of his dead sister-in-law. "What's really going on?" Ronald becomes curious as to what makes the man look hurt in such a deep manner.

"He saved me from someone who wanted to hurt me, Uncle."

Hearing Jennifer's reply, Ronald was suddenly anxious. "Are you okay, son? Are you hurt?" Checking Jennifer's hands and face.

"I'm fine, Uncle. Because the only one who got hurt was Nico." Jennifer glanced at Nico who was sitting on the bed, making Ronald follow Jennifer's perspective.

Ronald looked back at Jennie. "Is this man your lover?" tanyanya.

"Bodyguard who will soon be his girlfriend, Uncle," he said in his heart. Somehow Nico also called the middle-aged doctor 'Uncle'.

Doctor Ronald examined it in Jennifer's face. "Where is a woman who worries about her bodyguard to this extent." Ronald recalled how Jennifer shed her tears as she tried to treat the man's wounds. Ronald just swallowed his words, there was no way he could say that. Because it could be he who has misinterpreted the gaze of the two young people.

"Alright then, Uncle will return to Uncle's room. If you need something, just call the sisters" Ronald said breaking the silence that occurred for a while.

"And you're a young man...." Ronald pats one of Nico's shoulders. "hopefully get well so he can look after Jennie again." While glancing one eye to Nico to make Nico frown.

And then the corner of Nico's lips formed a smile after Doctor Ronald left the room. Maybe only the doctor who understands and is sensitive to the surrounding.

The atmosphere became silent again, both Nico and Jennifer were silent until all that sounded was just the roar of their breath.

"Thank you for saving me" Jennifer opened her voice.

Nico raised his face. "There's no need to thank you Miss, because that's my job."

Jennifer nodded, indeed it was Nico's duty, but still his life was still fine until this moment. "Like it or not, thank you!" Jennifer doesn't want to give up. She is not a woman who does not know how to thank you.

"Yes, Miss." Nico gave a smile, he was really anxious about Miss Jennie's attitude.

"Do you want a drink?" jennifer asked later, guessing that Nico might be thirsty.

And then Jennifer took a glass of water that was on the nightstand along with Nico who also took the glass, until now the two hands touch each other. Nico and Jennifer looked at each other for a while, before Jennifer pulled her hand.

Nico chuckles. "Miss doesn't need to serve me, my right hand is still intact and fine." While showing his free right hand without blemish and without injury.

Hearing Nico's words, Jennifer pinched her lips. "Who wants to serve you, I just want to help get you some water, that's all!" Turning his face away so that Nico could not see his suddenly reddened face.

What's wrong with me? Oh, my God, I have a fever.

Jennifer checked her forehead, but her body temperature was normal and did not feel any pain in the rest of her body. It's really weird, he thought.

"Just tell me what that guy meant?" Jennifer asked her question.

Nico swallowed his saliva, trying to find a reason that would make sense. "Ehm....."

"What really happened??!!"

Someone just walked in and asked a question. Both Nico and Jennifer were shocked when they heard a familiar voice and then both turned their heads in unison.

"Sister Vie...?"

"Boss...."
