Chapters 16. Deren's Cry

The Sunday Day.

A Hospital in Kediri City,

2 Teenage boys were sitting together in the hospital's garden chair. One was wearing a patient's shirt with bandages on the head, and one was wearing an everyday, red shirt with a black bomber jacket, he wears black pencil jeans with white sneakers. They are Arslan and Deren who at the moment seem to be chatting.

"how are you?". Arslan's question opened the conversation in such an awkward atmosphere.

"what are you here for?". Deren just cut him out.

"can't you go see a friend?"

"maybe from now on". Said Arslan who turned to Deren with a warm smile. Deren only looked at arslan indifferently. He did not respond too much to that crisp pranky arslan joke.

"if there's nothing important to get you back home, I'm gonna take a break". Said a deren who immediately wanted to leave arslan. But he said it because Arslan's words surprised him a little.

Deren who heard Arslan's words immediately returned to where he was sitting. And now Deren's view seems to pierce Arslan, demanding an explanation.

"hm?". Arslan noticed the silent look on Deren's face and closed his eyes. Arslan knew it was going to be tough for Deren to reveal something he had been craving for a long time.

"She, that woman, is not my real mother". Deren still standing in front of Arslan.

"what'd you say? She's not your real mother?". Arslan who heard that was a little surprised, did not think that Magdalene was not the birth mother of Deren.
