CHAPTER 048 - The Test of Becoming a World Ruler 1.
Charles arrived at the Altar of Darkness. It was located right at the very bottom of the Melegendous Valley of Darkness. A Place that was the last home for the Dark Gods in the past.
“Down down there, the mechanism from the Dark Altar will make it automatically active and get you into that test. We can only get you here, so good luck.”.
The Golden Dragon Queen and the other Dragons nodded, they all took off from Charles just like that. They could not get close because there was an invisible protector blocking the dragons from entering.
[Congratulations! Master has entered the Dark Altar!]
Charles who had descended from his flying position was immediately greeted with a black fog that filled the entire surrounding area, to the point that he could not see anything there.
“O descendants of the Dark One! From now on you will lose your sight! Use all the other senses to deal with this attack in darkness. May you be the Heir of Darkness!”
“All skills provided by System, will be disabled. Now you are just an ordinary demon human who does not have any abilities. Your entire strength is reset from the start!”
A voice suddenly appeared and gave directions on what Charles should do now. Simultaneously when the voice disappeared, an attack of millions of needles instantly rained down on Charles from various sides.
“ARGH! IT HURTS A LOT!”
In the first attack, Charles could not resist or avoid the millions of needles that attacked his body.
“All wounds will disappear and various other attacks will be your first test. Conquer all attacks in the dark. Your time will end until 1 year from now!”
The voice suddenly appeared again when Charles was already dying and was about to die. As the voice had just said, Charles' body returned to health and normal. And millions of needles rained down on his body once again.
“ARGH! ANYTHING WITH THIS TEST!”
[Systems can't help anything in the exam this time. All Master needs to know is that the owner of this Dark Altar is the one who created the System.]

Right after the voice finished speaking, the place that was originally filled with darkness, now turned brightly lit, as far as the eye could see there was only a white color that wrapped all the layers of the walls of the room.
“Look at all the history, stories and facts about you, Charles! Did once you know this, your resolve would falter? Or are you going to attack the Abyss? Think of all this, Charles!”
“A– ARE ALL OF THESE TRUE?” Charles shouted in disbelief at all the stories that were in front of him.
