Vita was silent with occasional sobbing. His heart ached, not once twice he felt it, but many times the rejection of ustadz Dafi many times he also felt pain.

"La, you're not afraid of getting takzir already angry ustadz Dafi earlier?" Vita said after they arrived at the school parking lot.

"Sorry, we both eat rice."

"What about takzir?"

"Jalani aja, Vit," Lala replied ending their conversation and heading to class immediately.

Minutes later, Lala stopped her steps. Pulling Vita's hand and looking at her was full of seriousness."Don't tell me you want to chase ustadz Dafi again after everything that happened?"

"How else, La, instead of my usual rejection from ustadz? I love La, no matter how she is."

"I don't take it if you cry because of him. I'm going to bacain lo yasin!"

*****

Rahma's mother became inflamed after hearing Lala's story of the rejection that Dafi had done so many times. Now, Ms. Rahma warned her daughter not to pursue ustadz Dafi anymore.

Vita gets more and more troubled if this is the way. Oh my God, chasing love is not as easy as taking water from the bath. And worse, Lala as Vita's friend even sided with Bu Rahma.

Vita stepped gontai towards the library, whether fate or coincidence, he instead had to meet ustadz Dafi.

Vita tried to calm down and act indifferent even though he actually could not bear to say hello. But given his mother's anger last night, his guts shrank. Vita turned her eyes away from focusing on ustadz Dafi. What's more he will soon face the semester exam, his mother will definitely be beheading if his grades plummet.

Vita remained focused on the ranks of books on the shelf, he looked for a dictionary that the other day had failed because of his meeting with ustadz Dafi. Until without realizing it ustadz Dafi was already at his side.

"Ehem.."

Vita did not turn her head, she was still focused on sorting out the right dictionary. Until he managed to get the Arabic dictionary he was looking for, Vita decided to leave regardless of the existence of Ustadz Dafi.

Arriving in class, Lala asked many questions to her best friend, warning Vita no longer to find and meet Ustadz Dafi.

"Awas aja if you take reckless," threatened Lala.

Vita. I met her by accident, not me, Vita thought.

*****

Unlike usual, Vita looks ordinary even when studying Arabic. Moreover, there was Lala who was always watching him, and the shadow of her mother's sharp glaring eyes continued to terrorize.

As usual, before the lesson began, ustadz Dafi passed on his students one by one. Usually the name Vita first called, but this time only skipped. Throughout the lesson, deliberately Vita did not look forward.

How else would you like? I'm afraid I can't help saying I love her. But ustadz, thank you for this disappointment.

"Vit, you didn't see that Dafi ustadz ngeliatin lo mulu?" Say Lala after the lesson is over.

"Huh, you just want to ngetes me doang right? Let you get angry with me if you chase ustadz Dafi again."

"No, I'm serious!"

Vita chose to be quiet and did not believe the words of her best friend. It still feels so lazy to talk about someone who has broken his heart.

"Assalammual."

"Getishalight." They continued their steps towards the canteen.

"Lo wants a penny, Vit?" Lala said she wanted to order some food. But again they were surprised by the presence of ustadz Dafi who asked to join their table.

Silent..

There was no discussion between them, while Lala was still waiting for the pesenan.

A few minutes later, Ustadz Dafi started the conversation.

"Anty's sick?"

"No ustadz."

"Tumben diem, usually anty always look for me."

"But not ustadz now?"

"Anty's still mad at me?"

"No two iced oranges came," Vita had not yet answered Dafi's ustadz question, Lala approached him with two iced oranges.

"Ustadz wants to pesen what, let me order," said Lala offered.

"Thank you. But I just want to sit."

Vita and Lala finished the meal, now only an empty bowl was left on the table. Lala went to pay for her order, but soon Austadz Dafi forbade her.

"Let me pay!"

"Huh? In what order do ustadz want to pay for our food?" Lala asked curiously, while Vita was still silent and listening to their conversation.

"Take this as my thanks to you."

Ustadz Dafi stepped away after paying for all of Vita and Lala's orders. Vita moved from her seat intending to pursue ustadz Dafi. Unfortunately though..

"Sir, Vit! You can't chase ustadz Dafi again!"

"Take him clean, La. Proof he's buying us a meal."

"Yes Vit is only a treat for the one he loves, not his heart!"

"Sampe when is La? I could die."

"Sampe ustadz Dafi can think of how it feels to be neglected!"

Vita sighed uninspired. Again because of Lala he had to refrain from approaching ustadz Dafi.
