Meeting tent
"All cities have been successfully cleared of the monster army, what should we do next sir?" Tiger was relaxing on the couch.
The tent that was only for meetings with a round table inside now turned into a relaxing room because the mission was completed even now seemed no longer formal but as usual just like the Dark Dragon dimension.
"The mission of the king of Artur is only to clear the city of monsters, so the mission can be considered finished you can relax after this." David said again sipping tea made by Virinda.
"Then what about the state of this city next, sir?" Lily's question suddenly stopped David from enjoying his tea.
David put the glass on the table. "Virinda found various foodstuffs stockpiled by the Vermilion nobility under her mansion for this kind of bad condition, you can take them to be sent to the place where the daughter of Stella, the city of refugees, is, at least it can help them to survive for a few days, then leave everything to the king of Artur alone." Obviously David.
"Even though the lord said leave everything to the king of Artur but we felt that the lord would interfere in the refugee city again." Lily said a little in error David's words because clearly David is not a person who will close his eyes to see the situation of the refugee city especially he has known Stella.
"I thought so too." Tiger muttered simultaneously with the others.
"Just as you guys." David sipped his tea again.
"What about the neighboring lord's nobles?" Ask Virinda.
"It's a little troublesome, if we kill them without explanation I could be labeled a rebel, but we have to kill them before it causes such a complicated problem." Said David frowning.
"What's wrong with the lord's neighbor?" Tiger asked.
"Some of them have been replaced by demons, their city will be chaotic if their leader suddenly disappears." Said David who did not want to get involved in troublesome matters.
"That's beyond your mission, we don't have to take care of it." Ahrul said to him as a solution.
"If I let it go, we'll get a mission like this again in the future." But David was too lazy to think of the same mission.
"Then let's kill it and send Artur's royal letter, sir." Virinda offers another solution.
"Even if I am not called to explain it personally in front of the king, it is definitely very troublesome." David said long.
"Then what will you do?" Tiger asked because he saw David was too lazy to move and think.
"Besides." Call David.
"Master called me." Selartain's words suddenly emerged from the wall of the tent with a blood-red mist.
"Kill the remaining demons and try to leave a trail of demons there, this way they will be killed by demons not humans." David said with the easiest solution.
"Good sir." Nodding Selartain before disappearing with the blood-red fog that had not fully blown his body earlier.
'If you have such an idea then why did you ask and complain to us just now?' The mind that looked at David was strange.
"Is there something strange on my face?" David pointed at his face.
"Ah no sir!" Quickly all answer.
"O-oh well, ukhhum! Tomorrow we will return to the refugee city so try to settle matters here before tomorrow." David said his next command.
"Good sir."
The next day they all returned to the refugee city to deliver groceries from the capital to residents, at least it was able to survive before assistance from the kingdom arrived.
In addition to foodstuffs from the capital, various monster meat that can be processed and eaten from monsters killed by soldiers are also combined to provide food to the citizens.
The journey to the city is very smooth without obstacles even though it has to cross the forest because there is no shortcut but the soldiers prefer to cut the road rather than having to turn.
Their journey did not take long and only used a few days until finally in front of the gate of the refugee city where many soldiers and residents who welcomed them including Stella who was in front of the gate in her red dress.
Walk David along with his five army leaders and Virinda as all the troops stop.
"Welcome back, I thought you were gonna die in the capital." Stella greeted David in a slightly slobber tone.
"Don't say that, it's like you expect me to die on a mission." David scratched the back of his fist and stopped in front of Stella.
"I really wish a smart-ass like you would die." Stella said although her intentions were not so but she was a bit upset when she saw Virinda behind David.
"You better die the bottom of mountain two." Virinda mocked Stella as Stella glanced at her.
"What are you saying, you auntie tanta!" Stella yelled back.
"We have already won, help you not to make new battles." Said David who immediately separated the two of them.
"Hmph! You should have shaved the boy." Virinda calmed down.
"It's already! Stella how's the refugee city doing is there something laon going on?" David asked separating and changing the topic.
"The city is safe but you should have given your regards when you met the noble princess." Stella answered and kissed David on her hand.
"I intended to do so but I undo my intentions." But David walked past Stella.
"Eh?" Stella was a little embarrassed for being ignored.
"Blwee's.." Virinda added by sticking her tongue out at Stella.
"Kengenge.." Stella firmly clasped her hands to resist emotions. 'But I'm grateful you came home safe.' Inner Stella smiled and she immediately calmed down as she said the sentence.
'Hm? Tumben this kid is not angry.' On the other hand Virinda who tried to provoke Stella's emotions so confused.
"Oh yes Stella we may be home soon tomorrow so as not to spend too much food here, for today we will help you as much as we can." David said before continuing to walk where the soldiers immediately moved back and walked towards the city gate to enter the city.
"Eh so fast?" Stella ran after David with a surprised face because she hoped David could stay here for a few days to treat his mother but actually from her heart she wanted to stay by David's side.
"Oh yes, it's a matter of your mother that I can send someone to take you to the princess of Arfenit to have her curse lifted." Said David who understood a little with Stella's mind even though it was only half.
"Yes but.." Stella was a little unwilling.
"The matter of whether or not you can negotiate with the princess Arfenit yourself but I'm sure she will because her class is indeed God Healing and hates demons very much." David added clearly.
"All right." Stella said yes.
"We brought food from your family's mansion and some meat that can be processed and eaten will be enough until help arrives." Added David.
"Nm." Stella just nodded.
"The idea is you're not too happy." Said David who was still walking towards the city Lord mansion.
"I'm happy." Stella replied but still a bit moody.
"I'll be with you tonight." David said after thinking for a while before giving Stella an offer.
Stella's face immediately flushed. "In company? Tonight?" Said Stella whose mind had gone where.
"I'll rest you better get some rest because tonight maybe you'll be so exhausted." David said before he disappeared.
"W-what do you mean!? Uh he's gone." Stella shouted before realizing that David was no more.
