The Although Time Keeps Going Back

Chapter 5 "The Ghost of the Library."

All school activities were immediately stopped due to the death of Nagita who plunged from the top floor of the corridor. All students were immediately released and repatriated. Not to forget, the school called the authorities to investigate the incident.

Some people who had previously witnessed Rian with Nagita. He gave a hint to the police that Rian and Nagita were close to the balcony of the school.

As a result of this information. Rian was not allowed to go home and was detained for questioning regarding the incident.

Rian was interrogated for more than three hours by the authorities as a result of the tragedy. Moreover, plus the togetherness of the two of them can be seen from the surveillance footage installed in the school corridor. He who does not understand anything can only answer all questions with his incomprehension.

After almost a day of questioning by police. Rian was acquitted and Nagita's death was considered a suicide without clear clarity. Because from the surveillance footage there is no sign of a fight or a murder plan carried out by Rian.

Although he was initially questioned by the police about the reason why he held Nagita's shoulder and dragged him on the wall. Rian could only answer and lie if Nagita asked him to joke. Because of that, after the push against the wall there was no sign of Rian fighting with Nagita and instead was seen in a serious conversation.

Rian explained that he was quite close to Nagita before. His talk was about the bets he made together. Betting is about getting higher grades in math subjects. The policeman who understood could only nod slowly.

After coming out of the school gate. Rian finds a message from the Library Ghost, "Amanda Geisya" asking him to meet in the park near the school.

Quickly, Rian turned on his motorbike and moved towards the park near the school. The time has now shown at four in the afternoon. But, somehow the atmosphere still felt hot. The sunlight was like burning his skin.

When parking the motor. Rian finds Amanda waving her hand from the gazebo located in the middle of the park.

Both of Rian's footsteps moved quickly towards Amanda while holding the bag tightly using both of his hands. Arriving at the gazebo, there are some snacks and bottled drinks provided by Amanda.

"Take, sis. Today, I'm the deal" Amanda said with a small laugh.

Without lingering, Rian nodded slowly and took out a bottle filled with mineral water. Right after opening it, the mineral water held by Rian instantly plunged down profusely within his throat.

"You've got to get used to this" Amanda whispered, "But, being interrogated by the police is annoying. I've experienced it."

There was a heavy puff coming out of Rian's mouth. He doesn't want to talk about this anymore.

"By the way. What if we shorten it? I'm sure there's a lot that Rian's trying to say, right?" ask Amanda.

Rian nodded. "That's right. I don't understand what happened today either. It all happened so fast."

"Sir Nagita is like that" Amanda said with a chuckle, "When I first met her. My situation is the same as that of Rian's sister. Being the prime suspect for the death of Nagita's sister who crashed into a car."

"Okay, that sucks. When I see him again. I will definitely hit him on the head," Rian replied as he exhaled heavily, "Why does he seem to not love his own life, anyway? Easily die and keep repeating life."

Amanda immediately shook her head. He admitted that his opinion was the same as Rian's.

Amanda's hand immediately pulled out the book and made the same circle as Nagita. In the first circle she wrote Amanda's name and in the second circle she wrote Rian's name.

"About the turn of time experienced by Brother Rian. How many are we going now?" ask Amanda.

Rian thought about it for a moment. Then he replied that he had experienced twice the turn of time.

Heard the answer from Rian. Amanda immediately wrote the number two in Rian's circle. Slowly Amanda stopped and thought of something. Then exhale heavily.

Hearing what Amanda said made Rian surprised. He also remembered Nagita's words that he had experienced more time-spinning than he thought.

Rian immediately stood up from the chair and closed his eyes. He took a small walk because he was confused by what he was going through at the moment.

Rian's index hand pointed at Amanda and revealed that other members of OSIS had experienced the same thing.

"Ah, Vice Chairman of the OSIS, huh?" amanda asked, "I didn't expect that she was also caught up in this turn of time. Meaning in other words, you two are stuck at the same time?"

Rian nodded slowly. He returned to his seat and rested his head on the table with food and drink.

Rian's head felt like it wanted to explode witnessing all the incomprehension he was currently experiencing. He did not understand how this time-spinning system was. He also did not understand, why he could get caught up in this event.

"Hey, Amanda. Come to think of it, why at an art show, huh? About all this time. Moreover, the difference in time turnover experienced by each person. I don't understand it at all" complained Rian.

Amanda shrugged both of her shoulders. He opened the balado-flavored potato chips and chewed them. Then he added an answer to Rian's words.

"Can we be sinners? God deliberately created this endless cycle of time for us. In order to be able to reflect on all the mistakes we've made?"

Hearing the answer from Amanda made Rian even worse. Rian felt that he had been a good person all along. So, of course, he didn't want to get caught up in this relentless turn of time.

Rian again asked Amanda questions about her relationship with Nagita. Rian wondered if Nagita was talking about anything else to him. Nagita wants to introduce Rian to Amanda.

Amanda's eyes glanced elsewhere. It is clear that there is a certain purpose that Nagita wants to convey to Rian.

Amanda's lips twitched. He explained that Nagita wants to create a gathering of people who are trapped in this time loop. Because Nagita believes there are a lot of people out there who are stuck like her.

Rian understands. It seems like everything makes sense about Rian meeting Nagita this morning.

"The name of the group, 'Tempo Sercanto'. It's my idea. Nagita's sister likes her name" Amanda continued.

Rian picked up the chips Amanda ate because they looked good. "Huh? I've never heard of it. What language is that?"

"That's Esperanto. It means 'Time Seeker'," Amanda replies, "So far the members mean there are four. Me, brother Nagita, brother Naura and brother Rian."

Rian chuckled softly. Though he has not agreed to him about his joining in the strange association. However, Rian realized that it was a cool-sounding name.

"So, what's the point?" ask Rian.

"Of course, right?" amanda replied quickly, "We have to find a way to escape in this fucking turn of time."

Rian was shocked when Amanda said that. Not about the purpose. But, it's something else. His face is sweet and looks tiny, it turns out to be able to say rough. Naturally, it was not like what a beautiful girl like her should have done.

Hence, Rian understood one important thing. Time travel sucks for everyone who experiences it.
