Of course their guts were like flying and without much more words the two left the place with pale faces and both of them were trembling.

They returned to the riverbank where they left their family without bringing any food because they were afraid to stay in the village any longer.

Since their father did not bring any food, Kian Beng and Hok Cu, two children of the Family, immediately tried to fish. Hok Cu had been grumbling constantly because his stomach was hungry and his father, who had been waiting for him, came without food. The full moon was already rising high when two boats appeared in the oars slowly and carefully, calmly gliding outside the dangerous vortex area. Kian Si's boat was rowed by Kian Si himself, assisted by Kian Beng, while Hok Gi's boat was rowed by an aide and by Hok Gi himself.

Suddenly there was a sound of snatch and many boats that had been silent were all moving. It is shocking and frightening to both Kian Si and Hok Gi. They stopped their boats that were left huddled, afraid that they would get caught by other boats and get involved in the commotion. Hok Cu had been fishing, since then, no matter what and devote his attention to the end of his fishing rod.

A commotion occurred near the vortex area when one of the kang-ouw figures saw an object that emitted light on the surface of the water.

He rowed his boat, gliding near the snake-like beast, but when he reached out to catch it, it dodged and swam back to the vortex.
