Chapter 57's

Pieter continued to watch Anna from afar.

He began to fret when he saw Anna being forced out by two officers.

"Take him off!" Tell Pieter to the two officers

The two officers immediately released Anna so that Anna fell down.

Not accepting seeing Anna being treated like that, Pieter immediately helped Anna to stand up and directly hit the two officers in the face with her fist.

"Have you never been taught how to respect women!" Pieter said as he continued to beat the two officers

Even the commotion cannot be prevented.

The engagement was stalled because of the commotion.

Because Pieter continued to punch two officers who made Anna fall down.

Other officers also beat Pieter, so Pieter also get a punch to cause bruises on his face.

Anna asks Pieter to stop hitting, but Pieter does not heed Anna's remarks.

Alex and Cassandra approach the center of the commotion.

"What are you guys doing? Why are you guys making a fuss at my party?." Cassandra did not like it

Alex did not react.

Anna looked at Alex.

Their eyes met, but Alex immediately turned his eyes away as if reluctant to see Anna's face.

Anna really doesn't understand what's going on.

"Go! Don't make a mess here." Alex opened his voice while looking at Anna.

Anna's heart was completely crushed to hear what Alex had said earlier.

Anna's tears immediately fell and flowed from her eyes.

How Alex had completely forgotten about it this fast.

With a poignant feeling Anna walked away from Alex.

Anna walked out of the building leaving the crowd.

Pieter immediately left the party and walked over to Anna.

Pieter immediately held Anna's hand.

"Come with me again. You're not doing well." Pieter

Anna did not react and simply complied.

Pieter takes Anna back to her home.

Along the way Anna was completely silent with tears constantly flowing. Pieter did not dare to say anything because she knew that Anna was completely shocked by what had just happened.

"Come down!" Pieter said when they reached Pieter's house again.

With a blank look Anna followed Pieter's orders to re-enter her house.

Pieter takes Anna back to the room where Anna used to live.

"drink. And forget what happened." Say Pieter while giving a glass of water.

Instead of receiving the Water Pieter gave her, Anna hugged Pieter and cried hysterically in her arms.

Pieter held Anna back without saying anything. Pieter let Anna cry so hard that the tightness in her chest subsided.

Pieter rubbed Anna's head to calm down a bit.

After a while, Tangis Anna died down.

Anna releases her hug on Pieter.

"Now what do you want?" Ask Pieter

"I don't know!" Answer Anna lirih

"Then you calm yourself here. Don't stress too much because it'll affect your baby." Pieter.

"Don't be too sad for a man like him. Even if you die, she won't care." Connect Pieter

"Do you hate him so much?" Ask Anna

Pieter shut up for a moment.

"Here you go, you better take a break. From now on I won't lock your room." Pieter switched the conversation

"All right." Answer Anna

"If you want. You can come down and eat downstairs. But if you want to be here, it's okay too. Make yourself comfortable here" Pieter said before leaving Anna's room.

Pieter came out of Anna's room and went to her room.

Pieter washed his face and the wound on his cheek began to hurt.

He was really angry with Alex.

How does a man like Alex continue to get genuine love from women.

And on seeing her Anna had fallen asleep with a swollen face.

Pieter rubbed Anna's cheeks and covered Anna's body.

''Forgive me Anna, for I brought you to this place. I just don't want you to go through the same thing with my sister." Mumbled Pieter

After making sure Anna is asleep, Alex closes the curtains and turns off the lights and then comes out of Anna's room.

Morning time.....

Pieter squirmed her body as she woke up from her sleep.

Pieter was silent for a moment then went to the bathroom and got ready to leave immediately.

After tidying up her hair and spraying her favorite perfume Pieter rushed down from her room.

But Step Pieter was restrained while he was downstairs.

Yeah, Pieter smells cooking.

Usually no one cooks this early.

Pieter went to the kitchen out of curiosity.

He was shocked to see Anna there.

"What are you doing? You should have asked the waiter if you wanted to eat something." Pieter

Anna looked.

"I want to eat the food I make myself." Anna replied with a flat face.

Pieter happy. Although Anna's face was still filled with sadness at least she no longer tortured herself by continuing to daydream and not want to eat anything.

"All right! I'm glad you started enjoying it all." Pieter said again

Anna also put the results of her cooking on a plate.

"I cook quite a lot. You can eat it if you want." Anna said without looking.

"Of course I want to." Pieter answered enthusiastically

Anna takes another plate for Pieter.

Pieter held onto Anna's arm as Anna was about to bring along their food

"Let me take it!" said Pieter

Pieter takes two plates of food from Anna's hand and takes them to the table.

"Make two fruit juices." Pieter asked the waiter.

"It's so delicious! I didn't know you were good at cooking." Pieter said after bribing her food

Anna silently did not answer.

Anna chose to drink the juice that the waiter had just made.

"I'll ask for a service to shop so you can cook whatever you want." Said Pieter again as he continued to devour her food.

Of the many words that Pieter said but still no response from Anna.

Anna continued to feed her food with a thousand words of silence.

Pieter was already trying to melt the atmosphere. But Anna kept on choosing to shut up.

"All right! I gotta go. Take good care of yourself, if you want anything to ask the waiter." Pieter said after finishing her meal.

"All right." Answer Anna slowly.

Pieter leaves Anna, who has not finished her meal.

Anna immediately put a spoon and fork over her food.

Anna covered her face with both hands.

The crying can no longer be held.

Anna cried as she remembered yesterday's incident.

The servants could only stare. They did not dare to approach let alone calm down.

After her crying subsided Anna did not continue eating and was about to clean the dishes.

But the waiter forbade it.

"Miss, just let us do it" Prevent the waiter.

"All right! Thanks." Anna said and passed.
